Monthly Rentals in Ullapool

We loved staying at Andrew and Debora's nostalgic Bedstee. It is obvious that it has been a labour of love creating this delightful space full of such charm. After a full day's activities out and about it was so lovely to return to the Bedstee just to enjoy the warmth of the wood heater and to gaze out over the loch. it is a peaceful place and perfect for unwinding reading books and playing board games. It is so quiet that all you hear is birdsong. The kitchen area works well and the bathroom is great with plenty of hot water on continuous heating. The alcove bed, reminiscent of the traditional style used in croft houses, was such fun and we slept very well. Andrew and Debora are great hosts - fully available to help if help is needed yet at the same time they totally respected our privacy. We would come to stay again in a heartbeat! This place is absolutely beautiful - we could not fault it. Mark and Tamsin could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely, very well equipped and was perfect for my elderly father who has mobility problems. We did not want to leave!

We had a truly relaxing time at Angela's place. It was our day off on a tour and Angela's place was the perfect place to kick off one's shoes and relax. Angela was very friendly and interested in us, where we came from and made sure we had all we needed. Ullapool is a delightful place. It is not very big so we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. We were lucky to have some perfect weather which enhanced what is a pretty little town. Angela had left the Ullapool Newsletter on the table in which I was able to find some interesting things to see. We were there on Easter Sunday and right on the back of the newsletter was an ad for an Ecumenical Easter Service to be run by all the churches in Ullapool together. That was an added bonus. The location is perfect and there are many great places to eat within easy walking distance.

This is a cabin in a totally spectacular location, the most stunning situation you’ll find in the Scottish Highlands with views to savour over Loch Broom, down to the majestic Munros of the area. Sadly I had to cut short my stay for medical reasons but my time in the cabin was very comfortable and special. The hosts’ description is accurate in terms of amenities, if you’re someone who likes to cook every day it’s not or you, but plan around using a microwave and toaster and you’ll be just fine. The hosts leave fruit, water, and treats superbly baked! It’s a fair hike up from Ullapool on the road, but there is a well constructed path across the hillside to take you into the town and beyond. Would love to return in happier personal circumstances.
