We really enjoyed our stay in Tudor Rose Cottage. Denise is a wonderful host and has created a warm and welcoming home. Immaculately clean with gorgeous furnishings and comfortable beds. The lovely village of Stourpaine is full of gorgeous buildings and friendly locals and you really feel safe and welcomed in Denise’s gorgeous thatched cottage. We highly recommend this place and the beautiful area of Dorset for a relaxing holiday. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine and freshly baked bread. We loved our stay.

I stayed at Poppy's place for a week & found it very cosy & comfortable. The bed was probably the most comfiest bed I'd ever slept in. I felt right at home with everything I needed to cook my own meals & Poppy was kind enough to allow me to take my own small airfryer, which gave me more options. I even cooked a Sunday roast :) There is however a double rings hob & toaster so cooking simple meals isn't a problem. Try Uppers Farm Shop, the other side of Shaftesbury for delicious produce. Fabulous surroundings & views. There are lots of walking routes around the area & the perfect spot for house hunting, which was the main purpose of my visit.

Great hosts and great place to stay. Some good walks direct from the cottage or good used as a base. The rooms have a good amount of space (and a proper sized bath!).

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights stay at Lucy's studio. I was very lucky with the weather - 3 days of beautiful sunshine. I spent every evening sat on the balcony enjoying the fantastic views and watching the sun go down. I found the studio very comfortable with everything I needed. The breakfast very kindly supplied by Lucy was a very welcoming touch. The location is superb for exploring the delights of Dorset. Lucy, as a host, was perfect, communicative and extremely pleasant, as was her husband. Thanks very much Lucy and Andrew for a wonderful stay, I feel completely de-stressed.
