Villa vacation rentals in Trancoso

Floriane and Christophe's property was the perfect setting for our extended family group. We were a party of 10 spanning three generations and the split of individual apartments ensured we didn't get in each other's way. The air-conditioned apartments were tastefully decorated, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. All fixtures and fittings were new and each apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival. The large pool is surrounded by a beautifully established garden with towering cactuses and a winding wisteria. The outside dining area accommodated everyone and came complete with two BBQs. A large supermarket is located within a short drive, as is a train station with direct links to central Porto. The city and the airport are also accessible by car within 40 minutes. The inland town of Amarante is also well worth a visit. In summary, Floriane and Christophe were excellent hosts with a delightful property. We hope to return soon.

A group of friends and I stayed during Holy Week. He was always attentive and available for whatever we needed, the house was very nice and cozy; the property was spectacular, a shame the rain prevented us from using the pool, with hosts like this it's a pleasure to travel, 100% recommended. We had already read the reviews and our stay confirmed, the D. Hope is a sympathy, always available to help. A real airbnb, every morning waiting for us were a few slices of delicious cake, a fresh orange juice, coffee and bread, all for a good breakfast!!! The super clean facility and where nothing was missing, very pleasant and for those who want to work or watch some movies on the internet, this works very well, without flaws. The village, very beautiful and very calm, is rarely heard a deck beyond the corner of the birds!!! I hope to return soon. Thank you so much

Impeccable home, good location, 3min from the tram and 30min walk to the center of Porto, easy arrival. Pleasant garden for breakfast and aperitifs. Homes perfect for a large group. Comfort bedding.

Good accommodation to get to know the area with all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful few days.

We had a pleasant stay in Manuel's house. We stayed 8 days with my family. My children being very young (1 year and 2 years), we enjoyed the house for a long time! It's suitable for children. Be careful with the pool around which there is no protection for the little ones. So you have to open your eyes. But other than that everything is fine. The view from the house is beautiful. Manuel is very responsive and flexible. A housekeeper visits almost daily to help us maintain the house. Thank you Manuel and maybe see you soon! Nicolas

The house is super well equipped and cared for. All rooms (the 8) have a toilet. Luisa is super nice and let us check out a little later. The only negative point was the pool being shared with the other house, otherwise everything was perfect :)

To everyone who’s thinking of renting this house; if you’re having doubts, this is the sign to go for it. I’m speaking on behalf of my family and myself. We were a group of 8 who had the lovely opportunity to spend New Year’s Eve in this beautiful space. To start with, pictures don’t do justice to the gem you find when you pass through the entrance door. The house seems like it blends or comes out of the mountain itself. Maintaining original external features of what it seemed an old house that was carefully blended into the newer structure of the main house. When you enter you have the feeling of being at home and from any of the panoramic windows to the west side of the house you get the breathtaking views of the Douro river They’ve thought of all details and making it a perfectly functional house to not have to leave for as long as you plan to stay there. Having the breakfast service is also another extra service we were really happy to have thank you for the lovely experience.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

What an EXTRAORDINARY accommodation Casa Marmelo was for our group of 8 adults when visiting the Douro valley !!! Host Kate was super to work -- right from our initial contact for information through our date of departure. What an excellent WELCOME GUIDE she provided before our arrival - with valuable tips and suggestions for activities and dining throughout the area. Housekeeper Helene too could not have been more kind, charming, and helpful. What delicious breakfasts she made for us each morning. The entire property was kept so clean and tidy. What a memorable time we all had -- we all hope to be back!

This property is beautifully appointed, with great amenities and a wonderfully peaceful location. It's a great stay close to the Douro Valley and surrounding nature. João was a very responsive and welcoming host, we had a couple of very minor issues on arrival and they were resolved within an hour, exceptional service and hospitality! If you are looking for an authentic getaway in Portugal this property is a fantastic choice.

Our stay was very good! The house is cozy, comfortable and perfect for large groups like ours (we were 8 people). It was all very clean and well organized, with all the amenities necessary to make us feel at home. The location is excellent and the host was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice and welcoming place to spend a few days!

Great stay, I can only underline the rest of the positive feedback A very friendly and respectful family. I would definitely stay in the house again. Excellent communication with Porro, Aveiro, etc. If I recommend they update the photos of the house: there is a new TV in both the living room and in the main bedroom. The main bedroom mattress is awesome I traveled with a pet (a German shepherd) and everything was wonderful.

Phenomenal space and very friendly hosts. It was a pity we did not have access to the pool, but it was a small gap that did not affect the experience at all. At the check in only failed not to be able to establish immediate contact, but they called after a while which also did not cause embarrassment. Beautiful and very cozy view. I will certainly return

A truly amazing house overlooking the sea. Super beautifully decorated and all very neat. Ana was always very friendly and attentive. Pretty flexible at checkout. Recording now in the summer, no doubt! So we can enjoy the amazing pool.
