A Tiny "Hotel" in K-Ville

JacobRating, 5 stars9 months ago
K-Ville is a great, down to earth, off-grid spot to get away. We enjoyed drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the night. Make sure to read the description and instructions in full, and you’ll have no trouble finding the place, and enjoying your time here! If you’re looking for a 5-star hotel experience, this is not the place for you. The experience here is closer to that of camping.

Feel The Magic of a Tiny Town

TianzhuRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We stayed in Karenville for one night and it was a unique experience. Kate is a super host. She provided us with all the information needed for checking in and detailed instructions for getting there. She even greeted us at the parking place when we arrived before 10 PM and took us to one lot little houses for the guests. We toured K-ville in the morning and learned a lot about the history of the property and host. It is great place to stay overnight for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Luxury camping in a beautiful cabin (April - Nov).

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a neato cabin... Glamping at its finest! It's back in the woods on a dirt road which is a truely "back woods" experience. This place is definitely for those types who don't mind walking and playing in the dirt and mud as it can be rather soggy and mushy after rain. I really enjoyed the Sunrise, the Porch, Firepit and paddleboat! The shower and outhouse are VERY rustic so be prepared for that. The Loft bed requires climbing up a narrow ladder which requires some agility and balance. I came to Ithaca to hike the Waterfalls so this place is very convenient. The owner is very knowledgeable regarding the hiking areas. Overall the reflective nature of the Pond Cabin experience was super great fun and extremely worthwhile.

Ravines Edge. Off grid cabin

NavaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
John is the perfect host, I felt like a V-VIP. He made sure I was comfortable and was over and above helpful with every last detail. He has bikes for guests to get around on and would graciously pick me up when I got stuck down hill. He helped me with fires to enjoy the starry night sky, and escorted me to the cabin when I got back late after a wedding party. The cabin is delightful and serene, on the edge of his property looking into bright green trees. He’s got it set up for barbecues and has even put out sticks for marshmallow roasting. A cute outdoor shower, and an eco-toilet cabin behind the room. I enjoyed swimming in the lake, doing hikes at the National reserve & on the property, watching the cows on the pasture, star gazing, & trying out the local eatery spots. I highly recommend this elevated glamping experience with a host that will do anything in his power to make sure you’re happy.

Tiny Cabin Stay in the Finger Lakes! (Science)

EricRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My wife took me here for my 38th birthday. The place was immaculate. As she is the one who books all of our air bnbs, she stated this one was amazing. A small micro cabin, with thought in luxe appliances. The Local organic coffee was great. We also loved the fact that they had soap from public goods. We live a chemical free lifestyle and it was a pleasure to not have to pull out our own soap for once. Great touch on the high end appliances and smokeless fire pit. We will definitely be back in the future with some friends.

FLX 3- Lake View Wine Country Tiny Cabin

We had such a great time at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and the views were absolutely stunning. Evenings by the fire pit making s’mores were a highlight, and having a brewery just down the street was a fun bonus. The whole place had a peaceful vibe and was the perfect spot to relax. Would definitely stay here again!

Unique tiny house on small working farm

JosieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
My stay at Rebecca’s tiny home was lovely! It was comfortable, no need to turn the AC on due to weather being mild. Bathroom was tiny but amazingly functional. Only a 10 min drive from the main town and a ton of things to see and do. Watkins Glen is minutes away as well and fantastic. Wish I could have had time to hike the trail right by the house that leads into Watkins Glen but I only had one full day there. Definitely a must visit place! You can get away from civilization but also go into town very quickly for whatever you need! The chickens right outside the Airbnb are also a lovely addition.

Forested Cabin with Seasonal Lakeview

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Shannon was a great host, and we enjoyed our stay. She was accommodating and we loved the tour of the animal sanctuary, especially her patience with our little one. The location is great and was close to great hikes. The only item we felt was missing was a microwave (handy for leftovers), but we used the oven to heat food.

Your Finger Lakes Wineries & Gorges Gem Awaits You

SteveRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Nancy's place for Cornell graduation weekend. The location, while a couple miles from downtown (which is still quite close - 5-10 minute drive), was actually ideal for avoiding traffic and gave us options to get to the campus. The place itself is great - perfect for our weekend getaway to Ithaca. Comfortable bed, spotless bathroom with plush towels, and plenty of space in the main living area. We enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to rebook when we return to Ithaca.

Finger Lakes Vintage Airstream Glamping For 2

HannahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a beautiful stay in the airstream for 4 days. It looked just like the photos, and we knew going into this trip that it would be a small space. They made excellent use of the small space with plenty of clever storage hacks. Our favorite part was the lovely front patio area with the propane fueled fire pit. We were out there quite a bit watching the sheep in the field with their bells tinkling on their collars. It was a very peaceful and fun trip!

Timber Frame Tiny House

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our second time staying at the tiny house was just as magical as the first. Beautiful location, adorable house, everything we needed was there. Deanna was great with helping us book our stay! While this might be rustic for some it is super comfortable for us. It's remote but its easy to find & close to a main road, has running hot and cold water, nice little kitchen, wood stove, BEAUTIFUL deck, and a real bathroom (no outhouse or composting toilet here!) It's a beautiful quiet retreat and I want to stay there every time we visit the Ithaca area.

Bo's Place - Cabin on Cayuga Lake!

MeganRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Phenomenal. Staying here was pure lovely. Waking up in the marina was dreamy and the quiet was palpably delicious. I slept better here than I do at home, and that’s not often the case when we travel. The bed is very comfy too so that helps! The cottage is perfect for a simple no-frills getaway: clean, comfortable, and a porch with views that can’t be beat. Its proximity to hiking trails, waterfalls, and Ithaca is the best part. I ran into Greg briefly and he was such a friendly and helpful host. Really nice guy! He had a plethora of area tips which did help since my list was long and we were trying to decide what things to prioritize. We would love to come back again. Thank you, Greg!

Tiny Lake House Getaway!

NiravRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great time staying at the Tiny Home. Fabulous location, and just the views you'd want to wake up to when living lakeside. The place is clean, well organized. The kitchen is well stocked. Also great idea installing a power-washer for the shower ... kidding ... the shower pressure is definitely helpful for a long hike. Hope to be back, and definitely recommend!
