Luxury lakeside Log Cabin in forest

GeorgeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
While the access road is not for the faint of heart and more closets/clothing storage is needed, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and organized. There were plenty of movies to choose from and a big firepit to enjoy. The property manager, Mike, was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, the cabin is a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the incredible view.

Great place to visit. The host was super responsive and generously left fresh farm eggs for us! The place is cute and comfortable and on a farm. We booked this super last minute and they were beyond accommodating! Allowed flexible check out and was really helpful with local recommendations. The bed was really comfortable and the place was spotless. Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen! Highly recommend!!

Cozy Finger Lakes Cabin, Hot Tub Oasis

GabrielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I enjoyed our stay here at the Finger Lakes! The location was perfect - no more than 15 minutes from many great activities, wineries, and restaurants, yet the space is in a rural setting that is peaceful and quiet. Loved hearing all the birds in the morning! The space was clean when we arrived. I have a food allergy so having access to such a clean kitchen saved a lot of time and stress! The kitchen was generally well stocked but note there is no microwave. Also, the hot tub specifically was also extremely clean! The bed was very comfortable, on the softer side. Would recommend others stay here!

“The Homestead” at Camp Cinnamon

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful time during our visit. The cabin was secluded and private. Great location to hit wineries and breweries for us, we were within an hour or so of everything we wanted to do(we are used to a 20-30 minute drive on a daily basis for groceries). My favorite was the seating area on the dock overlooking the lake.

The Mill Creek Cabins were perfect for my bachelorette weekend! Sara and the Mill Creek crew were incredibly friendly, responsive, and proactive with all communications. The cabins were exactly as described and were very cute and accessible. The breakfast delivered every morning was delicious and very much appreciated- it was a great little start to each morning! I highly recommend staying at any of the cabins while visiting the Finger Lakes- I definitely plan to be back in the future!

Paul's Lodge on Skaneateles Lake

JodiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Paul’s lodge is a beautiful, peaceful escape on the lake. The outdoor spaces are fantastic. We traveled with 2 families of 4 (four kids ages 10-13) and the kids found plenty to do with exploring, hiking, polar plunging, and using the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the fireplace, which was wonderful in the evenings and at night! Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive car… the access road is steep and slippery when wet! Just take your time and you’ll be fine driving in or out. The hike to the mailboxes was a fun little challenge! We spent one day in the adorable town of Skaneateles, and Mike recommended a great place for us to eat (Sherwood inn). The town is quaint and lots of nice shopping! Overall we had an excellent time and would come back again!

Red Eft Rustic Cabin at Camp Earth Connection

BryanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great time exploring Ithaca area and parks from Camp Earth connection. Eshay and team were great hosts. The cabin was fun. We had two adults and three kids and our two kids on an air mattress on the ground. So quiet and peaceful at night. It rained while we were there but the cabin kept us dry and there’s a nice overhang on the front and the raindrops on the roof were relaxing. Firewood for sale on location made smores and stories super easy. Wife made use of the hiking trail in the mornings that starts right at front gate. Hope we can come back and relax and explore more in this beautiful area about 20 mins from downtown ithaca by car.

Cozy Lakeside Cabin Retreat: Serenity by the Water

CeceliaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Staying at Dominics lake-house was a joy! We enjoyed the deck including the grill, large table and comfy couch and chairs thoroughly. Burgers on the grill, board games on the table and a good book and cup of coffee on the comfy couch in the morning. Kitchen was well stocked and the large water dispenser thing was a huge plus! We didn't spend much time inside but the couch was cozy enough for an afternoon nap and the bed was moderately comfy for our 4 night stay! Only downside was that we had to scrub the dock to make it clean enough to walk/sit on to enjoy the water. 10/10 would recommend staying at Dominics lake-house!

Cayuga Lake is Calling You

ReginaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cottage is very cozy and has just about everything you will need. It’s beautifully decorated with charming, non-fussy antiques and not the typical IKEA furniture you often find in rental homes. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a little quirky that the shower is tucked into a corner of the bedroom, but it really didn’t bother us that it was there. It was lovely to sit on the back deck and on the bench at the end of the dock. We loved swimming in the lake — it’s very easy to walk into the water from the shore. We wore water shoes because it’s a rocky bottom & there are some sea grasses, but honestly, we really didn’t need to. The location is great, right on the lake in a small enclave of homes and about 20 minutes from Ithaca. Hope this was the first of many stays.
A rustic living area features warm wooden paneling and a central wood-burning stove, with a stack of firewood nearby. A staircase leads to an upper level, while a doorway allows natural light to enter. Simple furniture complements the cozy atmosphere.

Crow Hop: A Fingerlakes Treat

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed the four nights we spent at this charming cottage in the country South of Ithaca, New York. We rented the home as a place for our family to stay in for our son's graduation from Cornell University. The home is about a 20 minute drive from the Cornell campus, less to downtown Ithaca. The home is cabin-like and quaint. The yard is beautiful, and we saw so many birds, deer, and a rabbit while we were there. I'm sure there were other creatures we didn't see. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the items you need to cook and serve food. We feel like it was a great place, and it served us well for a very good price. Cindy the host was very kind, even solicitous of our needs. I really recommend both the home and the host.
