Sparrow Creek is located at the southern end of Cayuga Lake. Enjoy the back deck off the kitchen overlooking a wooded landscape and a meandering creek. The area is friendly and within 15 minutes to downtown Ithaca and surrounding areas. There’s a giant porch wrapped around a 300-year oak tree and a lakeside tea house that can serve as an extra bedroom. There’s a dock, fire pit, room for yard games by the water, plenty of outdoor seating on the porch, by the lake, or on the dock. "FirstLight 1" is quiet retreat on Cayuga Lake. Close to Cornell, IC, state parks, and the wine trails. Walk to the Black Diamond Trail minutes from the front door. Kayaks, fishing poles available. Bring your snowshoes, hiking shoes or bicyles. 41 steps down to the door from our easy off road parking. Another 52 steps down gets you to the shore. Respecting the quiet neighborhood, no guests, no parties, no jet skis, no motorized boats, no smoking.
