Yuki is one of the most hospitable hosts I've ever had. He was very respectful, friendly, and helpful. Since it was my first time in Japan I was filled with anxiety and wasn't too familiar with how the train stations work and how to get to where I needed to Yuki gave me step by step instructions with pictures of how to get to his place without any problems. When I first arrived he provided house slippers, towels, and gave me a welcome desert. His place was very clean and pristine. Everything was modernized the first floor was the shower area, it had a tub for bathing and a shower head. the second floor is the living room/kitchen area and the 3rd floor is the room. The second day Yuki provided me with a free delicious Japanese breakfast. It came with sausage, rice, soup, Salmon, egg, a drink, and natto. through the week of my stay he guided me with all the nice places and the hot spots that every tourist needs to visit. Japan was a great place to visit even more so with this place
A spacious living area showcases a grand piano and a cozy seating arrangement. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, highlighting the textured concrete walls. A fireplace adds a focal point, with a decorative globe nearby, contributing to a warm ambiance.

Spacious! Shibuya House w/Garden

Kako and Keiko’s family has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The district is a couple station away from shibuya center while being exceptionally calm day and night. If you’re looking for a more personal experience than a hotel, I would highly recommend you consider this location. Thanks again for this memorable week.
A lively urban scene captures a bustling intersection filled with people crossing the street. Bright neon advertisements illuminate the surroundings, reflecting a vibrant atmosphere typical of Tokyo at night. Tall buildings create a backdrop, showcasing the city's energetic character.

Experiencing such warm hospitality is truly special. A comfortable and welcoming atmosphere can make any stay feel like home. The kindness of preparing breakfast is a thoughtful gesture! It's wonderful and rare to find such generous hosts. These small acts of care create lasting memories. They were so kind picking us up from the train station and dropping us off too! We will definitely book in Akiko's bnb in the future! I wish you both well a healthy ang loooong life! Thank you once again!

Kumi’s place is great! Shimo-kitazawa is a really great neighborhood and Kumi’s place is only a few minutes from incredible shopping and restaurants. She is such a fun host :) She took me to an izakaya and made me a traditional Japanese breakfast. Would 100% stay here again.

Bessalov Home 2nd room friendly house

I stayed for a full week in this house, and really had nothing to report. It's run by a really nice couple, everything is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is a lot of traffic in front of the house but the windows are soundproofed. I really recommend this place.

Perfect for Disney, because I had the impulse to come to Disney for a second time, but I had to say that Google's map was really bad for people, although the host had informed me that the address was not right, but I really navigated to find out that the other three people, I don't know why the bed the host gave us was 1.2.

Staying at Asama’s place was one of my favorite experiences in Tokyo. She’s not your typical host—Asama is incredibly warm, friendly, and full of life. She sings, dances, and brings such a vibrant energy to the home. We could talk for hours—about travel, life, anything. She’s well-traveled and always curious, which makes every conversation feel like an adventure. Her home is just as lovely as she is. Cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by flowers she’s lovingly grown. You can take a walk around the quiet neighborhood, enjoy the fresh air, and then fall asleep to the sound of birds outside your window. And oh—her cooking! For just 800-1000 yen, she whips up meals that taste like they came straight out of a restaurant kitchen. Seriously, it’s home-cooked magic. You can smoke downstairs if you like, relax, and truly feel at home. I’m already looking forward to going back to book this place. Travelers, this is your home in Japan :)

Madoka and Kuero were great hosts! They make you feel right at home from the moment you step in. They also are amazing chefs and we enjoyed a balanced and delicious breakfast everyday of our stay. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome and I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. Great location, peaceful neighborhood with great restaurants around the area including Madoka’s and Kuero’s café: MoguMogu. All the rooms are clean and pristine. It was always great to be able to fully relax at their place after all the long walking all over Tokyo every day. Thank you guys! We will miss you and we hope to see you again soon!

Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

This time, two of us stayed for two nights. I was able to arrive as shown on the map that I had seen beforehand, and there was a convenience store along the way, so I had a pleasant time without any inconvenience. The breakfast we had for two consecutive days was also warm and delicious, and we had a happy time with Motoko's thoughtfulness, such as changing the taste and menu. Thank you very much!
