Very friendly hosts. All the amenities you could want in working order. Made our stay while waiting on our new build stress free. Highly recommend.

Quaint, cosy and quirky cottage. Most definitely a cottagey cottage with an abundance of beautiful original features. The welcome pack of food and drinks was wonderful and the extra treats for our little boy were so thoughtful, thank you! Geoff next door was on hand to get us settled in and provide fuel for the fire - don’t forget some pennies for the fuel. Remember some rubber sole slippers if you’re a little unsteady on your feet. We chose this cottage for its charm, price and proximity to Cannon Hall Farm Park (early birthday treat for our nearly 3yr old) and Penistone Parkrun (albeit it was cancelled due to bad weather so went to Barnsley Parkrun instead). Felt right at home and everything is to hand. Just a hop and a skip from the local pub too who do a fantastic steak pie! Super host and would gladly stay again if in the area.

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean! Quiet area but just a short walk to pubs and restaurants and shops. Great parking and easy to get to, check in was easy. Henry & Rebecca were very attentive, making sure we had all the instructions we needed and that we were in safe. We had a great stay and will be back next year!

Really enjoyed staying here; lovely snug, peaceful place. Great WiFi, which more than compensated for the lack of a phone signal, and brilliantly clear communication. Will absolutely and certainly use again. Thank you!
