Wow what a find, we only stayed two nights but we had a wonderful, secluded break here. Claire clearly knows the drill on what a family with young kids needs, we needn't bring half the luggage we had - highly recommend!!

Maya was the perfect host, she always responded in a timely manner to any question I needed an answer to. The Snug is a definite home from home stay, set in a beautiful village with lovely pubs and a great cafe, called pickled at Riccall. I would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely stay in this ground floor apartment. All very clean and tidy and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Colin. The village an easy walk away with several pubs and restaurants. Easy access to York by bus. There is a cafe next door breakfast was lovely and good value. Bought a lasagne to heat up later in apartment which was lovely. Would highly recommend this accommodation and location.

Really love place, instantly felt relaxed after a day walking around York! It's only a short drive from the Designer Outlet, so great for shopping or catching the Park & Ride. We only stayed one night so didn't get chance to make the most of everything, but we will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to York!
