We loved our stay at Karen's. Cosy and pretty flat with everything you need. Well equipped and felt very homely. Great location for exploring Herefordshire and very beautiful countryside just outside on your doorstep! Lovely walks and peaceful setting. Karen was super friendly, helpful and kind. Beautiful, peaceful cottage with lovely views and everything you need. We made good use of the electric car charger too which was very useful. Catherine and Pat were friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to stay.

We had a lovely warm welcome by humans and dogs! The accommodation was perfect for our needs and it was great to be able to let our dogs explore the pretty and enclosed garden. We would definitely stay at The Chocolatehouse again if we were in the area.

Maureen and Annie went above and beyond with pre-arrival phone calls to check our requirements to meeting us upon arrival with lights in the cottage glowing, the fire set, appreciated hand written welcome notes, a ball for our dog as well as dog bowls, throw and towels. The very comfortable cottage was constantly warm with lashing of hot water. The views over the estate and countryside were astonishing. A perfect place to explore Hay on Wye, Brecon and Hereford and beyond with lots of pub and restaurant recommendations as well as places to visit by Maureen.
