Spring Ridge Yurt-True Glamping-Hot Tub-Nantahala

AudreyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Gorgeous views, great location, the hot water was actually hot (unlike other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in), the hot tub was ready to go, the host left us snacks. It was just such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back. If I had to pick ANY cons, I’d be really reaching. You are one of four yurts (we didn’t realize we would have “neighbors” but it’s set up in such a way that you still have privacy.). Also, you are close to the road so occasionally you will hear cars, but the sound of the river much overpowers that. Plan for no reception; we were fine with that. We plan to come back again with 2 more couples. I will definitely miss falling asleep to the sound of the river Now, what I wish I would have known as a car geek - we accidentally went through Tail of the Dragon on the way there. Had no idea it was here. Was sad to have a big ole SUV riding that instead of my sports car! Plan accordingly. :)
The interior of the yurt is spacious, featuring wooden beams and a circular skylight that allows natural light to fill the room. Two queen beds with purple bedding are positioned alongside two single beds, with shelving and a wardrobe providing additional storage.

Eco-Chic Mountain Zen Yurt (Peru Shapibo)

JulieRating, 5 stars30 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay here and can't stop talking about it! The location worked great for us to enjoy a day in Knoxville and The Great Smoky Mountains. We also enjoyed a quiet and peaceful day! If bugs freak you out, this may not be your place. We didn't experience them in the yurt, but you do come across them with the bathroom and outdoor kitchen set up. However, if you can accept being one with bugs, you won't regret the beautiful shower set up! I am sure we will be staying here again in the future :)
A green yurt is set on a wooden platform, with steps leading up to the entrance. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a peaceful connection to the forest. Natural wood mulch is visible in the foreground, enhancing the rustic setting.

We loved the surrounding town, the peaceful area and yurts so much last year that we came back for a second time! The yurts are amazing and the area provides a relaxing atmosphere, as well as the sounds of the connecting rivers are so calming. We left something behind and the owners were gracious to send it!

Birdie Blue Yurt on Active Hang Gliding Air Park

JustinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Megan’s place is super cute! It was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. We had originally planned on camping at Cloudland canyon but it was too cold and switching to the yurt was a perfect last minute choice. We were less than 15 minutes drive away from the park but had tv, a private bathroom, and a kitchen. Plus the bed was super comfy. You are in a little hang gliding community here, but it is still very quiet and rural and you can stroll through the meadow that the gliders land in, and walk down to a winding stream. There’s a community camp fireplace outside and we made a nice bonfire one night. All in all, just perfect for what we needed. Attractions like Ruby falls and rock city are less than 1/2 hour away as well. And we really appreciated how clean the entire place was. Thank you!!!

Eco-Chic Mountain Zen Yurt (Guatemala Mayan)

JosephineRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We loved staying at the EcoVillage in the Guatemala yurt. Mary, a sweet caretaker of the land, messaged us and met us at the village upon arrival and gave us a tour of the shared bathhouse and kitchen as well as the yurts and trails and attractions on the grounds. She informed us that we were the last booking before they closed for the season so the grounds were very quiet and peaceful. We walked the labyrinth, ate in the kitchen (there were some herbs in the garden we could use), the bed was comfortable (there was a bed warmer to keep us cozy despite the October chill), the showers were nice and hot, and the yurt was so fun to stay in, we wish we could have booked a longer trip! We saw squirrels all over the place, some deer bounding through the adjacent field, and a few crawly critters just like with camping. We went to sleep to the sound of the babbling creek. Overall, we had a peaceful night surrounded by nature and we would definitely recommend and book again!

Hillside Yurt

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Belinda’s yurts we’re such a gem. Perfect location from the wineries for my one-day visit. But let’s get back to the yurt- I had the hillside which was a magical mini journey. The grass in the spring is super green so following the path to the purple wood lined stairs and mini lanterns made for a little forest fairytale. Once you walk down the stairs I arrived at the burnt red - purple door’d yurt over looking the hill of trees. It was perfect. There’s a restroom inside and this is the first I’ve experienced a yurt with the actual restroom inside and it was fine!!! No smells and actually made it so convenient lol. At night the fans kept me cool and in the morning I loved hearing the nature sounds. I was sad to leave in the morning. I wanted to enjoy the hillside magic a little longer. I’ll be back. Thank you Belinda!!

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a wonderful glamping experience! The location of the yurt is perfect and best spot in the campground IMO. Very large and flat if you want to bring extra tents. The hosts are lovely people and you can tell they take great pride in their property. The yurt was clean and spacious and very comfortable. We had an issue one cold night and they quickly came to resolve. I will definitely be back!

Tuckaseegee @ Sky Ridge Yurts

ValerieRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Our 2 night stay at the Tuckaseegee yurt was great! Easy check-in & entry. Bed was comfortable and heat units kept us nice and warm even when it was 30°F outside!i The hardwood floors are beautiful as is the bathroom. We were glad we brought spring water for drinking as the water had a sulfer smell. Next time we'll know to bring ice cube trays or ice with us as well. We spent time in the National Park, Cherokee, Bryson City, and hiked a few trails. We would absolutely stay at the Tuckaseegee at Sky Ridge Yurts again!
