Monthly Rentals in Tehachapi Mountains

WOW! What a place! What an amazing off grid glamping experience! The perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and relaxation. From the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of fresh pine cones in the air during the day to the views of the stars and the warmth of a cozy fire at night, this place had it all. Many thoughtful amenities around every corner. From board games to books or wifi and Netflix, all in the seemingly middle of nowhere. This place won’t disappoint… I highly recommend!

We had such a beautiful, peaceful stay. Blair and his wife, Shirley, were so friendly and helpful. The place was clean, cozy, and surrounded by spectacular views. Great place for a couple or small family. The nearby town of Tehachapi was cute, Kelcy's restaurant was yummy, and the trains going through the Tehachapi Loop were so fun to watch! Stayed for a long weekend and wish I could have stayed longer.

What a wonderful place to stay. Quiet and fenced in property with trees and various fruit tree orchards that you can walk around and enjoy. The house was cozy and clean. Nice layout and plenty of items to use in the kitchen. We like the fact that the house was just the right size for my wife and I. Chavonne has a wonderful book on local restaurants, hikes and places to discover in the surrounding area. We discovered a very nice Italian restaurant nearby that we enjoyed twice during this trip. Chavonne communicated wonderfully with us and went out of his way to point out a nearby location that we might enjoy on a driving-motorcycle trip. We'll be back!

This property is close to town, yet far enough away that it feels secluded. Joni was a wonderful host, she was able to put up with my late night hours. She makes it feel very private, even though she was there during my stay which I greatly appreciated. She is not normally on property, just worked out for me that her and her sisters happened to be there for my stay. I am leaving a violent situation, so having her there helped me feel safer while traveling alone. She is constantly improving her property and it shows. The kitchen was well stocked with upgraded cookware and small appliances. Very clean with large closets to store clothing and personal items. There were larger refrigerators in the bedroom closets which were a very nice surprise. I was able to store a beg of ice and other essential food items. It was nice to have the option of cooking a meal vs going out to eat all the time.
