Stunning place - a destination you may not want to leave! Best accessed by 4WD although drive is well maintained. Perfectly located for day trips around Takaka and Kaiteriteri. Mark was a perfect host. Excellent communication. We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing; loved the walking path access and water view! Being so close to Abel Tasman is an advantage. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, great outdoor space on both patios, and a nice hot tub! We highly recommend the Hi-Tide to all!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described, and perfect! The beds were super comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again. We definitely recommend it if you’re looking to stay in a peaceful and well equiped house. We are already planning our next trip back and looking forward to it!

Our second visit. Lovely house with picture postcard views over the lake and mountains. Fabulous kitchen with everything you could possibly need and quality bedding in the bedrooms. A great place to relax and highly recommended.

Amazing stay for 6 nights while we had a sports tournament on in nelson. Communication was amazing, the home felt so homely. The spa pool was perfect for our tournament. We had everything we needed and more. Thank for this amazing home to stay in. We highly recommend this home. Brenda also had an amazing welcoming pack of food for us as well which is just next level amazing.

Amazing house with absolutely everything you need to enjoy a family holiday. Lucy and Matt were the most friendly hosts, great communication and the house was immaculate, well stocked with very comfortable beds. Pool & Spa were perfect, we didn’t want to leave! And highly recommend Lucy & Matt’s lovely home to anyone visiting Nelson.

When you have finished such a stay in such a place, the difficulty is to find the good words to define our feelings. Leanne and Dales’s property is the most fantastic, marvelous and magic we have ever seen on Airbnb. Everything was better than expected including that the rented cottage is a part of a huge and magnificent property with flowers everywhere, a vegetable and fruit gardens at disposal. Leanne and Dale are not owners renting a cottage, they are friends welcoming friends at home. Special kisses to Murphy, Teddy and Bella, so friendly animals who came often visit us to get cuddles. Unforgetable experience.

Convenient location, very comfortable living with plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen. The secure back yard was perfect for our dog as well as having the bonus of plums and lemons dripping off the trees! We have stayed at many lovely places in Nelson but this has become our first choice to return to.

A couple friends and I stayed for a couple days over the long weekend. To say we were in awe as soon as we opened the door is an understatement. An incredibly beautiful house in an equally beautiful location. Easy to follow instructions on how to get there and a check in follow up message received as well (we had pretty bad weather on our travel) Check in was easy and the host maintained our privacy but it was reassuring to know that if anything happened or we needed anything else there was assistance nearby. The info pack which was emailed by the incredibly friendly host and a copy at the property contained plenty of info on the house and its ammenities as well as local markets and eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the views, to the spa and the well stocked kitchen, it really is a gorgeous property and highly recommended for a getaway.

A wonderful cute cabin with Private beach access. Felt right at home, had everything you'd need for a holiday weekend.

This isn't just a night in a cabin, it's an experience! Seeing how this couple have embraced their natural resources and are living so sustainably in harmony with all that the Earth provides is inspiring. The hosts are thoughtful and generous with their bounty and I cherished every minute. The food and spa is a real treat and I highly recommend getting the dinner. I will definitely be back, but I won't access it from Wakefield.
