Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Takashima

Mio was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. Her communication was perfect from pre check-in to checkout. Mio came to meet us at the train station and helped us to her beautiful house. We had just got engaged and she had lovely flowers for my fiancée. The house had everything we could need - we felt right at home here. It's a 30 second walk to a well connected subway (less than 5 minutes to Sanjo bridge) and just next to the beautifull Kamagowa River which is great to cycle with the provided bikes. Mio also drove us to the station at checkout which saved us so much time. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Kyoto. This is a must book house for anyone coming to Kyoto.

I had an incredible month at Toshie’s place. First of all, Toshie is an amazing host—so friendly, generous, and kind. Honestly, the biggest stroke of luck I had during my time in Japan was meeting her. She gifted me so many wonderful memories, meaningful conversations, and lasting inspiration. I had the joy of spending quality time with Toshie, her lovely family, and her warm community. She made me feel truly welcome and part of something special. Even if Toshie weren’t such a fantastic host, the house alone would get 5 stars from me. It’s modern, comfortable, and well-located in a peaceful neighborhood with a nearby bus line. You can also easily walk or bike to the train station—and Toshie generously provides two bikes for guests to use. I loved biking around the neighborhood to do errands or simply explore. Whether you're staying for a few days or a longer visit, this place is amazing! Thanks again Toshie for everything :):)

I had a relaxing stay. The room was spacious, which was great. I think it's good for families and groups. There is also a washing machine, as well as a coin laundry, which is convenient for consecutive nights. It's within walking distance, and the supermarket is close by.

The place was spacious, clean and kitchen was newly & fully equipped. Shower was nice, dog friendly.

The single-family home has a large and cozy space.We arrived late on the day we checked in (more than 10 pm) but didn't expect the host to be waiting for us, and for us to carry our luggage and piercing about the facilities in the house.The house is fully equipped with children's toys and books, a lot of shopping and eating information near the house, the bedroom is comfortable and equipped with charging plugs, the stairs are also equipped with a small night light for the night, and there is a non-slip carpet, and there are towels and hands in the bathroom.There is also a car space for self-driving people.Unexpectedly, there was a welcome letter, which was really sweet.Very good value for money, perfect for the size of a family, will have the opportunity to stay again and also to friends and family who intend to visit Osaka.The host couple also delivered in person when they left!

Yoko was very nice and friendly. Her place was perfect for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) plus a small dog. The first floor bedroom and toilet was very convenient for my old mom. Plenty of space for us but can easily fit 3 more adults. Definitely recommend for Osaka trip. It was an easy 10 min walk to nearest subway. Very peaceful without being far away from things to do.

Great place with sauna and pool, it was perfect for 5 pax and it is also just 45 minutes drive from suzuka circuit for F1

Kyoko is an excellent host, in fact she’s probably one of the best AirBnB hosts we’ve ever had. Super responsive, really clear instructions and she came to see us the day we checked out which was a nice touch. The house is really well stocked - lots of towels, linen, kitchen stuff and bedding. Kyoko also fully stocked the fridge and left snacks! Unbelievable service! She also let us check out after 10 as we were a bit late leaving which was nice. The elevator is soo handy for taking big suitcases upstairs. The location is about a 1 min walk from Kyobate station which is one stop down from JR Nara. There is an onsen around the corner from the house which is really cheap and properly local. I’d 100% recommend staying at Kyoko’s place if you’re visiting Nara in a big group/family. We were group of 5 and had plenty of room. Reasonably priced and super comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

One of my favourite Airbnbs ever! A cosy, traditional style Japanese house. It even has a kotatsu table. Very fast WiFi so perfect for remote working, and the rooms are comfortable. Kitchen had everything I needed. Mitsuyoshi is a very welcoming, responsive host and helped me with everything. It is also in a good location and good value for money when you consider the size of the place and amenities. Also, the check in and check out times were flexible. Thank you, Arigatou gozaimasu!❤️🙏🏻

The location of the B&B is excellent, the most lively of Shijo, which means Gion Shijo station and bus station, it is very convenient to travel.The B&B has an elevator to keep your luggage, which is too convenient for us with a lot of luggage.We are also very satisfied with the room, the view is very good, you can see the sunrise in the east and see the sunset on the west side; the bathroom and shower room are two, all of them are very complex, so it is really suitable for many people to stay.Previously commented that the top floor was a bar can be noisy, but I felt it was fine and the bar on the top floor was fantastic, and it was great to have a drink while looking at the Kamogawa view!I think the only disadvantage of the homestay is that the lights are too dim, and I can't see clearly when I get up in the morning with makeup, but it doesn't affect my love for this homestay, I will come and book again next time if I have a chance!

This is a special and very nice place. Harufumi and Yumie are very kind and welcoming, and genuinely interested in their guests.

Lan’s place is approximately 20 minutes walk from Kyoto station with plenty of restaurants and kombinis along the way. The place is very clean and comes with a washer/dryer that works well. Stairs up to the second floor is quite steep so we left our roller luggages on the first floor. Overall a good experience and would recommend to those visiting Kyoto.
