Takayama places to stay

It is an Amazing Place. We were 6 people altogether. Since there is separate bath, washbasin and toilet, it was very convenient. The place was very clean, well organized. He answered all our queries immediately and met all our queries immediately. The location is walking distance to all the attractions. Overall we had fantastic stay

Such a beautiful house and a great location. Our family of four really got to spread out compared to some of the small apartments we have stayed in. It was lovely to have a quick face to face welcome from our host. And so helpful to have a few sauces and oils at hand for basic cooking. Beds are Japanese stlye, so pretty firm, but we adapted quickly and slept well, waking naturally with the sunshine. Takayama is stunning and we loved our visit. Hopefully we can return!

The house is spacious and comfortable, fully furnished, the owner is friendly, and the communication is effective. This house makes us feel at home, highly recommended!

We had no trouble finding the hotel from the train. It was a walking distance and it was quite a lovely walk because you see all the different stores and restaurants. We arrived early so we rested in the lounge and then went shopping and had lunch. Finally, our room was ready and we were very impressed with the decor as well as a cleanliness. We especially loves the outdoor onsen which made you feel really relaxed as you listen to the birds. Our next night was with another Iori property so they transported our luggage to the next destination (so that we didn’t have to lug it around on the bus). Overall, we would be returned!

Perfect spot in Takayama! Everything is just steps away. It’s a short walk from the bus terminal/train station. The internet was great for working (a few of us were working at the same time with no issues). The host was very responsive. Loved having a little outdoor space, too. Recommend!

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located in a beautiful and serene town surrounded by nature but close enough to town so that if you wanted, you could easily walk into the center and enjoy restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the Insect Museum! With a car you can do trips to the bigger city of Kanazawa as well as other surrounding attractions in nature. The house was inviting, comfy, and most of all spotless! The bedrooms were prepared for us, the bathrooms were basically sparkling, and the living room; with its wood burning stove was so cozy! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was completely perfect. We are grateful to the hosts for offering up their beautiful home and their amazing hospitality. We truly cannot wait to go back!

Very near the JR station, worth for staying there.

We loved our stay! It is a beautiful and quirky place to stay in. You have access to all, bar included. The place is very well presented. Upstairs is very spacious with heating. Plenty of space to spread out with your luggage- you won’t feel on top of each other. The downstairs kitchen is well equipped. Location wise, it was perfect for us. Convenience store close by and many small eateries. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful space!

This is such a great Airbnb! The location is perfect - short walk to the morning market, main shopping streets, restaurants, etc. The home is right by the river so it feels peaceful at the same time. The unit was very clean and was as pictured on the listing. The bedroom is a traditional Japanese style and really feels like an authentic experience. There are amenities available such as shampoo, conditioner, slippers, coffee machine, etc. The best part of the airbnb is the host, Ruili! He was so kind to pick me up and drop me off from the train/bus station. He also invited me to his home for tea and I had a great time. He really aims to make your experience in Takayama great. I highly recommend to anyone visiting and I hope to come back again one day! 5 stars :)
