Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sussex County

My wife and I were looking for a Valentine’s weekend getaway from D.C. and this place did not disappoint! The house itself is spacious, clean and has great amenities. My favorite aspect is how close it is to the Lewes-Georgetown Trail, which afforded us hours of great walks and finds along the way. It’s also a short drive from downtown and the beach. We brought our well-behaved dog and the hosts were very accommodating. Speaking of the hosts, they were all around great – everything was already thought of, and if I ever had a question, I received an answer in a minute or two. Would love to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay overall—thank you for hosting us! Stunning views, great layout. The home was clean, cozy, and well-located. Karen was communicative, responsive and very helpful. Everything was great and we really appreciated the space!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Delaware! The home was clean, beautiful, and just as described. Serena was easy to work with and very responsive. With the pool, access to the bay, walkable neighborhood, and close proximity to restaurants and the beach, we would love to stay here again!!

My family like many others is spread all over the place, and Rehoboth has long been our meeting place. However with multiple generations come very specific needs and Leigh’s house seemed to check all the boxes. It wasn’t until we arrived that we realized we would have our best family trip yet. From the spacious rooms and privacy for those of us needing to work, vs outdoor spaces (balcony, yard, patio, deck) for those wanting to play, we had it all. This may be the first time no one got annoyed with anyone else on a family vacation—because we all had space to breathe and relax as well as come together in the living room and lovely massive, well equipped kitchen. (Seriously, the knife set?! And even a popcorn popper? And a lemon juicer? Pepper grinder? Be still my beating Airbnb heart!) Leigh was super responsive anytime I had a question, and sent a wonderful restaurant rec list that gave us our fave meal. Linens and beds, amazing! Beach gear is A+. We’ll be back 💯!!!

House was very cute and in a great neighborhood. We stayed for 2 months and we were happy that is was dog friendly. Close to the beach and good restaurants

Our stay at Sergui’s home was wonderful! The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood but in close proximity to stores, restaurants, and the beach. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Sergui was very friendly and prompt in his communication. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This place was sooo cozy and has the best couch I've ever sat on in my life. It was an easy check in. It was so quiet. Private. Everything you need is there. The host Bobdan was super friendly. Pet friendly and has a great fenced in backyard to take your pup out to potty. It's walking distance from a dunkin and it is near a bunch of places including a short drive to the beach. Wonderful stay!

John's house was a perfect fit for our family of four (Mom, Dad, 2 Teen Sons). The beds were by far the most comfortable we've ever experienced at a rental. The house was impeccably clean. It passed the test of walking around in your socks with no debris or dust! The socks stayed totally clean. We were able to walk to restaurants easily. We especially enjoyed Zava Cafe and the new coffee shop on Magnolia Street. The house was very spacious as well. John was available to answer questions in real time, which was tremendously helpful to us.

Awesome stay close to Rehoboth beach! Spacious suite, extremely clean, complete with coffee and some snacks for breakfast. Our dog loved the quiet neighborhood. Would stay again if in the area!

TJ has thought of everything. It felt just like coming home. The neighborhood is pretty and peaceful while still being close to all the attractions.

Great stay! Condo is in a great location in Rehoboth, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. It was clean, comfortable and the two in suite bathroom set up was ideal. The kitchen is well equipped and thank you for providing coffee pods:) Host was very responsive! When we arrived the neighbors car was in one of the parking spot but after messaging host, they immediately moved the car which was great as it was pouring rain and we appreciated the covering of the carport while unpacking the car. Would definitely booked again!

Wonderful stay in a fun, family-friendly community. Close proximity to great restaurants and DE beach towns. House was spacious with great amenities. We look forward to renting again in the future!

Overall a great place to stay. I had come here from New Castle County for a quick family getaway with my wife, mother in law, 1 year old daughter and goldendoodle. Everything we wanted to go see was within a short drive and the place was as described online. Pouriya was also very prompt (responded back within minutes) whenever i had a question. Thank you so much for a nice stay and hope to be back soon.

Danielle’s place was just awesome. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home. Very spacious, bright and just lovely overall! The kitchen had everything that you could dream of. Whenever we thought, oh we need this and that, it was right there. The sunroom is a dream to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drink. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious, very comfortable and the bathrooms had all amenities that you needed. We didn’t really use the backyard due to the weather but I am convinced that you will have a great time outdoors if the temperatures are right!! We will definitely try to come back!! Thank you!!!

I highly recommend staying here. Pictures don't do it justice. So clean and nicely decorated. Very spacious with lots of amenities. Edris was super helpful and actually recommended a restaurant that we all really enjoyed. The hosts even left a detailed binder with all of the local interests in there. I have stayed in a fair amount of Airbnbs and this one is top notch. Great location, easy to get to multiple beaches including Rehoboth. Great hosts, we will definitely be returning!

Loved this place!! Very spacious, around a lot of things to do but in a private location! Hosts were super responsive, all instructions were clear. They even offered us an earlier check in time after the house was clean! All in all, 10/10 experience and would definitely return!

Liz was a great host and made our family feel right at home. She was a quick responder if we had any questions, which made everything even smoother. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog, Melo, along with us! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and all the activities we wanted to do. The home was cozy and welcoming, and although the weather didn’t cooperate, we would’ve loved to enjoy the backyard with the fire pit and grill. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Great cabin surrounded by trees and close to the Delaware beaches!

We enjoyed our stay, and the unit was roomy, clean, and quiet. There are bikes and some exercise equipment in the garage, which we put to good use, and everything went more or less as expected. If I had three hands, I'd give it three thumbs up!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Lewes! Zully is an incredible host and the local recommendations she sent along with the check-in instructions are so very helpful. The place is such a quiet gateway close to Lewes, Bethany and Rehoboth! Fantastic stay in Delaware. Couldn’t recommend more!

We had a great stay! The house was very cozy and felt like home away from home. We loved the ease of getting to the beach - having a parking pass made it very simple to find parking and take all of our things to the beach. Would recommend for your next stay in Bethany!

We had an amazing week at Eric's cottage. The cottage is in a quiet development w very peaceful surroundings. The pics and description of this cottage are 100% accurate. The cottage was very clean and stocked with all items needed. The Bethany Beach boardwalk is approx 1.5 miles away as well as some nice upscale resturants. Eric reached out to us prior to arrival and offered an early check in which was so helpful. We were thrilled to find a pet friendly cottage where we were able to travel w our three rescued chihuahuas since we do not travel without them. Very happy w our stay and would stay at this cottage again in the future.
