Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sunset Key

Sharon was an excellent host that answered any of our questions promptly. The place was even better than what the photos showed. Comfortable enough for 7 people to stay for a long weekend. We didn't use the pool, but it was nice to have the option. Easy to get into the gated community, and we didn't struggle to find parking with our rental car. Easy to get to many different popular spots around Key West with rideshare. Convenient to have some convenience stores like CVS within walking distance, and a Publix not too far via car. Only thing I would improve is having more toilet paper and hand soap refills in each bathroom, especially with 7 people staying over a long weekend.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to stay in the Keys, stop scrolling and book this place already! Christina was a dream host—friendly, helpful, and on top of everything (seriously, if hosting were an Olympic sport, she’d have gold). The house was super clean, well-stocked, and everything worked like a charm. Location? Spot on—close to all the stores you might need when you inevitably forget sunscreen, snacks, or, in our case, half our luggage. The dock handled our 24-ft boat like a champ, and waking up to those canal views? Chef’s kiss. Already planning our next trip back!

Everything was excellent. Only complaint would be the bicycles. One bike was usable but the seat was loose and we didn’t have tools to fix it. The other adult bike’s chain was rusted so bad it wasn’t usable. We still had an excellent experience.

House was nice and clean. Great location perfect for getting to open water. Frank was very helpful and responded quickly with any questions we had. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

This was an awesome home for our family of 4 + dog. We felt right at home for the week! The pool was perfectly warm, and the kids had so much fun playing by the dock. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to dock it easily. Honestly, we hardly used the other amenities in the home because the weather was so nice, but if it rained we probably would have loved the game room too! Overall this was a great home for our family. The neighborhood isn’t super walkable, but the grocery store was just down a little footpath, allowing us to walk to get groceries as needed. Loved this!

The house was really nice, clean and a real home away from home. It accommodated my family of 5 with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It was located on a canal where we were able to enjoy the manatees and pelicans. It was centrally located and only a short distance from the beaches, snorkeling, wind surfing and excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay again if we visit the keys

This is a fantastic property! Right across from Sombrero Beach but still peaceful and private. The house and yard is like an oasis. Host and management company are WONDERFUL! Highly recommend!

Everything was exactly as pictured plus a few amenities that we didn’t expect! Beautiful place, well-appointed kitchen. The construction across the street was a little loud in the mornings but hopefully will be completed soon.

I will look to stay here again when we return to fish or do any visiting. Having a private dock, Great! Pool, Great! Fishing, Great! Animals allowed, Great! Sunrises, Great! ......

What a great find! Everything we needed was there! Quick walk to everywhere: beach, Duval street fun, restaurants and grocery store. So glad we went with this air bnb and not the hotel we normally go to. Saved so much money. Loved the privacy!

Greg's place was amazing! I loved being outside, sitting by the water, and looking out at the beautiful view. It is very quiet and peaceful, you feel like you are the only people around. We loved looking for sealife from the dock, and watching the boats go by the canal. The living room was comfortable and clean, and made a cozy place to enjoy the evenings. It was especially nice to have both bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms, and suited our two couples perfectly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had ten guests who enjoyed our stay at our Marathon air bnb! We very much enjoyed the pool- we used it every day and loved being right on the canal for fishing and manatee spotting! The home was equipped with enough bathrooms so many can be in use at once, the beds were comfortable and it was very spacious. We also enjoyed the outdoor enclosed patio and the little tiki hut for another shaded option. We had an iguana who stayed right out front during our stay and he was very peaceful. Kitchen was equipped with all appliances needed to cook throughout the week including a grill! We had a great time and felt safe during our stay! Will definitely book with Jay in the future!!

My family and I stayed for a week and the house had everything we needed and more! The space was clean, comfortable and had lots of extras for the outside like pool floats, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks and more. The added touches inside like dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner was unexpected and a huge help. I was slightly surprised that this was an attached home, but there was still plenty of privacy and the location was extremely convenient. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and we would definitely recommend to others.

This place had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation prior to the crazy Holiday season. we only had 6 people but it would easily accommodate more. Monica was responsive to any questions or concerns. The location was perfect. Easy access to sombrero Beach and Marathon amenities: bars, restaurants, and activities. we were able to experience a turtle release on Sombrero Beach from The Turtle Hospital. Highly recommend renting from Monica again and on Marathon Beach.

Everything about Lazaro’s stay was 5 Star!! He was easy and friendly to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our stay a delight. The property itself was perfect. Everything is brand new and it was one of the best stocked places I have stayed, from the decor to the spacious layout to the stocked cabinets. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs who enjoyed it very much. The location is on a quiet street in the heart of Marathon with so much close by. Ideal!! Truly a 5 star stay and highly recommended.

Alan’s residence was truly a key west vibe. Absolutely beautiful and close the southernmost and westernmost sides of the peninsula. We stayed fine bachelor party, 8 people party, and the home perfectly accommodated our entire group and was a great place to hang out and rest. Highly recommend!

We loved the place and the cute Mexican restaurant next door. Murray's market down the street had so much more than expected. The house had many amenities including beach towels, beach umbrella, chairs, and even sunscreen. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and enjoy all the keys had to offer.

Great property all around!! The pool was big enough for 10 people without being crowned. We utilized the kayaks, paddle boards and hammocks multiple times. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything except a blender. We even could have baked cupcakes if we wanted!! We were able to catch enough fish to have a taco night for everyone, which was an extra bonus. It was 35-40 min. to Key West, which was far enough for peace and quiet, but not too far to enjoy the fun there. We were able to walk to Kiki’s down the street, which was also nice. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

My husband and I, along with some friends, stayed the month of March. The description of the house is accurate; clean, homey, comfortable beds, nice furnishings and decorated nicely. A few minor issues came up while we were there and Kelly & Walter responded very quickly to resolve! We kayaked/paddle board with manatees in the canal right outside our front door, to include different kinds of fish. I enjoyed my morning runs on the bike/walking trail at the end of our street. Also, met many nice neighbors as well while walking our dog. The weather was beautiful, only rained 3 days the entire time we were there. The boat lift and pool were a plus, after a day of boating we would come back and cool off in the pool. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked March of next year!!! Michael’s condo was very nice! Clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had 8 people in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Michael responded quickly to any questions we had. We loved seeing manatees in the canal, using the kayaks to explore the mangroves, and floating in the pool.

This is the cutest little space! They have truly thought of everything. Very comfortable, quiet inside, amazing location. Will definitely stay again when back in Key West.

This Airbnb was the perfect balance of distance and quiet to staying in Key West. There isn't a whole lot to do around the place but that was fine since we were out most of the day and stayed here to mostly sleep. The place, beds, shower all made us very comfortable to take on another day exploring in Key West.

This place is absolutely wonderful, everything has been updated as far as the house. The location was perfect. We were able to go kayaking right from the house. We were able to see an abundant amount of fish, and we even had three pet iguanas that showed up every morning to sunbathe, we look forward to coming back again and if this place is available, we are definitely going to request to stay here. We stayed here a week and truly enjoyed every bit of it. And to top it all off the beds are comfortable.

Excellent accommodations, everything was available for swimming boating and fishing activities. So convenient to attractions and restaurants. Walk out on same level to pool was the best feature. Enjoyed the quality in pool and bath towels.
