Bungalow vacation rentals in Sunset Beach

Gwynne was incredibly responsive and helpful! Any questions I had were answered immediately and always to the best of her ability. She was so kind and beyond generous towards me and my husband during our stay. There was a problem with the AC system upon arrival, but she had someone out to the house to fix it within 10 minutes and the problem was resolved within 30! The house was better than the pictures in my opinion, super clean and tidy, and the porch was our favorite place to relax (especially in the mornings with our coffee). I would 100% stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay at oak island!

This is a fantastic spot. I couldn’t have been happier with the stay communications to location and everything about it. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house has plenty of room for a large family. My son and his family along with myself enjoyed our 3 days relaxing at the house and at the beach. We will definitely use this house again.

Shawn’s place was peaceful Beautiful and very clean . Loved sitting on the Deck looking out at the ocean. The pictures and description of the place were spot on . It’s in walking distance for places to eat or have a drink The beach is directly across the street It’s in a very nice neighborhood Hope to stay again sometime The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need to cook meals

We loved our stay! The house is clean,comfortable and adorable. Easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. The tree lined streets are so beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is nice and well stocked. We loved the enclosed sunroom for coffee each morning. Allie was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and helpful!

Pauline was an excellent host and her home is wonderful. You can see, smell and hear the ocean from the front porch. Every detail of this home was well thought out for a family visiting with their dog. The large fenced in yard was perfect. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The additional amenities in the bathrooms and bedrooms were a nice touch. I’ve never needed to pack so little to stay in a rental home as everything we would need was provided. The location is perfect as there are multiple restaurants and a grocery store within 1 block. At night, it is very quiet in the neighborhood. Beach access is a short walk away. This home has everything and more!

Quiet (except for new some construction) location and outstanding views from Janet & Mark's place! Comfortably and attractively decorated. Especially loved the cotton sheets and towels when so many are using micro-fiber these days: ( Access to the beach (last access on west side of island) & nature reserve was great, and sunsets over Bird Island were perfection. The condo was very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do in NMB- golf, shopping, great restaurants. The hosts Brian and Michael were awesome- very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend their place for your stay.

Angie was a great host, if this stay is on your radar just choose this! It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, it was a perfect distance from all necessities. Our host made sure the space was clean and comfortable, 10/10!

Very responsive and kind hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated with easy access to local restaurants and beach just a short drive away! They were quick to resolve a problem we encountered.

This is the place to stay if you want to be right at the beach. The convenience of being able to walk so quickly and easily beats staying further out and paying to park! Courtney’s place is perfect for a beach trip yet has everything and more you can think of in the kitchen if you wanted to bake a cake, cook a 3 course meal, grill, make smoothies, have s’mores over the fire pit or simply relax on the front porch with a glass of wine. The bed was super comfy and the couch was as cozy as can be! We booked it last minute and Courtney was so accommodating and responsive - this is just what we needed and would definitely stay here again! Would 1000% recommend staying here!

Fabulous stay. Wonderful home in pristine condition. Denise and David were very responsive. Best check in starter bag we have ever received. Beautifully stocked kitchen, they thought of everything! Great master closet with nice shelving. The only reason I gave 4 stars for value was we had to bring our own linens and towels since it was earlier in the season. Not a huge deal but for the price, would have been nice. Wouldn’t keep us from staying there again by any means. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

Laura was wonderful in accommodating my family on their engagement weekend! The cottage is centrally located, and can walk to many eateries, the boardwalk, etc. The Emily exceeded our expectations and Laura was so responsive during our stay. The home was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. The kitchen had everything needed, and they even provided a bottle of Champagne! The screened porch and the outdoor spaces were a huge plus. The cocktail pool was a hit and we loved the green space for our dog Sailor. We would definitely book the Emily again! Thank you Laura and Jonathan for everything!
