Townhome vacation rentals in Sunset Beach

Book this place!! We had such a great time at the beach and in this Airbnb. Our group was comprised of 3 couples and 2 infants and we were so comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and made all of our meals with ease - one of the best equipped kitchens I've stayed in. We loved the location, truly a 3-5 minute walk to the beach (depending on how much you're carrying!), and a great view of the Sound. The Airbnb was bigger than I expected and having 2.5 bathrooms was great for our group size. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marooned Five as a family of five and we all love it! Our 2 younger kids love the loft and my older kid loves the second bedroom to himself. It’s not easy finding room for everyone when we travel but we don’t have to worry about it when we stay at David and Kris’ place. The two golf carts give us flexibility to split up and we also love riding bikes on the island. Marooned Five comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed here during the off season and prefer it but will also be back during the summer season. Some of our favorites to do here: climb Old Baldy, eat at Jules and Jailhouse, beach days, have a date sans kids at Bald Head Bottle, visit Turtle Central and complete their scavenger hunt around the island. We went to Sunday service at the Chapel and had breakfast afterwards at The Boathouse. We shopped at the Maritime shops and scheduled a guided kayak tour (that was canceled due to rain). But we’ll be back!

This place is amazing. When I have to stay at other places, I always hold them to Rob's standards and they hardly ever meet those. His place is clean and convenient. It's literally about 6 steps to the ocean. I think my favorite thing is the two decks facing the ocean. You could just sit there for hours and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of space to just hang out and chill. All that you would ever need in a kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. I straight up don't want to stay anywhere else but here. Thank you Rob for another perfect stay!

We had an amazing time at Janet’s beach home. It was close to the beach, clean, comforting, and walking distance to everything!!! Janet’s and her family was very responsive. if i needed something they was right on it! unfortunately the hot tub was down for our first 2 or 3 days due to the heating element going out, but they made sure to get it fixed right up in no time so we could enjoy. I appreciate how amazing and friendly they were. The neighbors were super friendly we even made a couple of friends during the visit. we felt welcomed and right at home. If you were second guessing Janet’s beach house this is your sign to BOOK NOW, i would recommend this home to my friends and family.

This is the 2nd consecutive year we’ve stayed here for our annual girls trip! We usually go to a different beach each year but we came back to Kure because we liked this house so much. I really can’t say enough good things about it. Super convenient to the beach so our group can come and go as they please. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and we feel very safe here. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but this year we drove 10 minutes to Carolina Beach which was also very easy and convenient. Michelle is very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Robyn’s place was everything we asked for and needed for our yearly family vacation to Kure beach. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Being steps away from the ocean made this stay so special. The balcony upstairs was a wonderful bonus for early morning coffee and watching sunsets. Our group had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely, with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The well stocked beach supplies closet was a highlight and had everything we needed for enjoying the beach. Connie was communicative and had lots of great suggestions. With the beach only a block away, it was the perfect vacation retreat! Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Beautiful ocean views! The house is just beyond the sand dunes on the beach. You couldn’t get a better location. We loved sitting on the front porch, watching the ocean waves, and enjoying the beach vibes. You are literally just a few steps to the sand! The house is comfortably furnished, pet friendly, the kitchen is well stocked and parking is on site, so easy. Jeanette is a super host, friendly, thoughtful (she bought welcome cocktails for us and treats for our fur baby)and responses quickly to inquiries. We had a great weekend at the Tiki house

Great place! Makes you feel right at home. Has everything you need already for a nice beach getaway. Would be more than happy to rent next time we go to Myrtle Beach.

Arrived Sunday and an unexpected tropical storm came early Monday morning. It flooded the whole town. Manyresidents and business were under water and lost so much. Fortunately, this house was one of the few that didn’t get flooded. Lisa was amazing and answered any questions we had quickly. she also checked on us frequently and made sure we were ok. Very sweet of her. The beach is literally about a 5min walk. There were bikes, chairs and wagons available to use which was so convenient. There’s an Ice cream place within walking distance,(which we went to almost every night after things started opening back up) House is beautiful and has so much room. I hope to get back soon and experience the true Carolina Beach vibes with all of the town up and running. Thank you so much for allowing our family to use your home. Erika & Donnie. & Family

Hope is a wonderful host! She is attentive, warm, caring and responsive. She has her home fully stocked (including coffee & tea!) with great attention to detail and amenities (beach chairs, towels, sun screen, etc.) The location is accessible to the beach, grocery store, coffee shop and loads of restaurants. Definitely will be back!

A great long-term option! A quick walk to the beach. Large driveway. Plenty of kitchen accessories. No clutter in the house. It is very spacious and located on a safe street! There are exterior cameras in the front and rear.

We had an overall fantastic stay here! ♥️ what a beautiful home in a great location. Very easy to get to the beach. Loved that there was a high chair and baby gates as we were traveling with our little. We did bring our fur baby along, who we unfortunately had cross the rainbow bridge while we were here. Sarah provided a recommendation for a local vet which I appreciated dearly. She was very responsive and pleasant. While this was certainly an emotional trip, the kindness shown to us means so much. Highly recommend. Would happily stay again!

Besides the plumbing issue that Ericka responded to very quickly, I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone that’s visiting the Myrtle Beach area.

Mike and Crystal have a beautiful home! It was exactly like the listing and no surprises. It is the perfect place for families, with the game room and available board games, foosball and arcade game, my nieces loved it and enjoyed the games. My husband and I and my brother and his family enjoyed our stay and I can’t say enough how clean and organized it was. The beds were so comfortable and the split floor plan with a master on the main level and two more bedrooms upstairs. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate Thanksgiving with family in Longs. Just wow! Beautiful home with lots of space, we love that it was pet friendly and the outdoor shower was such a bonus for washing sandy paws! The owners were extremely responsive and the kitchen was more than stocked for cooking! Not to mention the beds were soooo comfortable. We will be back!

Great place and safe neighborhood. It was clean, well stocked, and I enjoyed the decor. The house setup was perfect for traveling with two little kids. The hosts were great with communication and helpful with local recommendations. It was easy to get to the grocery store, restaurants, playgrounds and a 20ish minute drive to the beach. Would stay here again!

Shannon did a great job with communicating with us. She was very proactive with everything. Check in was flexible and the house was very clean. She had provided bed linens, towels (beach & bath), shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes and plenty of toilet tissue. The kitchen was well stocked including trash bags, dish detergent (sink / dishwasher) and paper towels! Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard play area. There were awesome areas to sit outside at night. One large gas fire pit down stairs with plenty of comfortable furniture and a smaller fire pit upstairs outside our spacious bedroom on the balcony. The bathrooms were large and very clean. My adult children and grandchildren had a wonderful time playing the arcade game. Thanks Shannon for sharing your beautiful home at the beach!

Christina and Justin were great hosts! Their home is beautifully decorated and has all the listed amenities. It was very family friendly and even my fur babies were happy. Would highly recommend to stay here for your next trip to ocean isle/sunset beach.

We had a wonderful short family vacation at Teresa’s place with my fiancée and our two kids. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The spacious layout provided plenty of room for all of us, and the decor had a lovely beach theme that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Check-in was fast & easy. the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. One of our favorite features was the serene backyard, which overlooks a beautifully lit fountain, perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Teresa was communicative throughout our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and delightful stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place just like the photo's and a perfect way to unwind after a busy season from our businesses. Spotless and the view and sound of the waves crashing was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. Perfect communication and we would definitely highly recommend as well as return ourselves.
