Cabin vacation rentals in Sullivan County

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

Our family spent a long weekend here and we felt right at home. The house was clean with plenty of room and thoughtful extras like a toothbrush, snacks in the kitchen, even the towels were arranged nicely like you were staying a hotel. We enjoyed our experience and it was just the little getaway we needed to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday.

This was the best BNB we have ever stayed at! Very clean, comfortable, private, and beautiful. You can tell thought was put into every detail. We didn't want to leave! The beds were very comfortable, we even ordered the same bedding with the BNB Cozy Earth discount code that was in the bedroom once we got home (Thank you, Meng!). The location was also great and not too far from anything with a lot of scenic natural beauty. We stopped at the North Branch Cider Mill nearby for coffee and some shopping and that's now my favorite stop in the Catskills! We hope to be back again soon. 10/10!

W’s place is great for a large family or group of friends looking for a getaway in a peaceful, private, retreat-like environment. The house has cozy Catskill cabin vibes with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and a variety of different spaces to provide a large group with opportunities to spread out and find quiet nooks and crannies when needed. The beautiful wooded setting is perfect backdrop for all the amenities — wood fired hot tub and sauna plus cold plunge make the property feel like a private spa. It’s very easy to stay on the property for a full day without leaving, however there’s also an abundance of local adventures to be had — hiking, swimming, fishing etc. Great place for outdoor enthusiasts. W is responsive and helpful in his communications.

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Beautiful hidden property tucked down off of road. The place has everything you need and is so quiet n peaceful. The hot tub was great to relax in and was nice to see deer morning n evening grazing.

The house was exactly as pictured — super charming and had everything you could need! Maxwell was super responsive and made everything very easy. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer! I would 100% go back.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean, and perfectly cozy. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by nature with stunning views. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, evening fires under the stars, and everything in between. The amenities were thoughtful and well-stocked, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and board games. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into making the space welcoming. This stay was the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this cabin is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved our time here! We loved how secluded and quiet the property was. There’s plenty of room to spread out and the house has everything you need to have relaxing evenings/dinners at home and it’s just a 15 minute drive to Livingston Manor for going out to eat. You also have access to Hunter Lake for swimming and kayaking (only a 5 minute walk) which was the perfect way to unwind and cool off after long days of hiking. Heather was also very responsive during check in and check out and we felt well taken care of.

Phoenix Landing is close in proximity to access Route 17B, but is serenely situated in a quiet lakeside community. GPS was a little tricky in the neighborhood, but the listing was relatively easy to locate if you keep an eye out for the street name. It is well stocked, clean and very comfortable. This was an ideal accommodation to attend a show at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. I wish that I booked a longer stay…next time!

Completely amazing getaway with hubby and the puppy! Beautiful surroundings, right on the creek and in a campground that is very walkable with lots of meandering trails not far from the cabin. Very comfortable!

We loved our little stay at Halle's private cabin! My elderly dad was visiting from Thailand and loves the Catskills and my husband and I love to get away from the hustle of everything so the privacy was gold. The location is also great since we were just a quick trip to groceries and restaurants. The beds were excellent and we all had very restful nights. Unfortunately, it was cloudy every night so we didn't get to see them but if you're a star lover, like us, the lack of light pollution is perfect for seeing them. I would 100% return for another visit!

We had a great week staying at the Blue Caboose. The property itself was the standout feature for us. It's secluded but accessible and we enjoyed many walks to the lush and serene lake/pond. It felt like a private bird sanctuary as we spotted a bald eagle, a family of geese and various smaller bird species courting daily among water lilies. The house was extremely cozy and had everything we needed for a 3 night stint. Definitely a great place to unwind and simply read books. The house is showing its age in places and may not have all of the amenities in the world but the total package seems incredibly reasonable for the price. The location near Roscoe and Livingston Manor are also huge pluses as you can get pretty much whatever provisions you need and there are many great hikes and swimming lakes in immediate proximity. Would happily return in the future.

If in your mind, you could imagine an ideal place to get away - a cozy and thoughtfully furnished house nestled in front of a pond, this would be that place. A long driveway takes you away from the main road and leads to a stylish and very comfortable home. Three bedrooms, 2 baths and an open kitchen made the house feel very roomy. Our daughter made an early claim to a small landing at the very top of the stairs, a perfect place to settle into a bean bag chair and matching ottoman and continue her adventures with Nancy Drew. Our stay was extremely guest friendly. There was nothing we felt want of that Jared and Chelsea hadn't provided. A pile of comfy blankets, a nice bottle of red wine and a movie screen and surround sound gifted us two fun movie nights. In fact, their attention to detail made the house feel unusually familiar to us. The daily view of the pond and its inhabitants; a trio of ducks, a pair of cranes, and an industrious beaver, gave the home an idyllic quality.

Absolutely loved staying in this charming cab! Nestled near stunning mountains, serene lakes, and lush green areas, the location was perfect for nature lovers. The cab itself was incredibly clean, safe, and cozy, making it a haven after a day of exploring. The hosts were super responsive and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend this spot for any family looking to connect with nature in peace and tranquility. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The craftsmanship of this home is truly impressive - everything feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished. The space was clean, cozy, and full of special touches. The kitchen was especially well-stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals during our stay. There were so many little amenities that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was getting to feed the super friendly deer - such a fun and unique experience! Highly recommend!

Had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. It was supremely relaxing and a great way to disconnect and slow down. The house was beautiful, great amenities, scenic, and serene with views of trees all around. The best however was Greyson - before even been booking the house, we were sent a list of restaurants/activities/hiking trails in the area. Additionally, every message sent to the host received an immediate reply. The hosts have impeccable taste as you can see with the furnishings of the house. Highly recommend.

This home is so beautiful and well thought out I wished I could have stayed longer. The yard with the fire pit and the string lights and the creek and the turtles and deer and fireflies made for a magical atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had while staying at Erin’s cabin. Erin is a friendly, responsive and proactive host. It was evident that she genuinely cares about the well-being and overall enjoyment of her guests. The cabin itself was delightfully rustic and nestled in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and the pleasant sounds of Trout Creek running directly through the property. I am already looking forward to my next stay! This is our second time coming to the Cozy Cottage on the lake. Our stay was even more memorable than the first time and we loved all the new upgrades that were done with the house, making it even more special and easy to relax and take in the stunning home. Emmett and his family were again incredibly helpful and thoughtful—quick responses, clear instructions, and little touches that made the stay feel special. They even remembered we were coming for my dad’s birthday and made it even more memorable for him ;) The place was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. The family takes pride in their home and it shows. Highly recommend!
