Family-friendly vacation rentals in Stockton Springs

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Latham blueberry farm. Doug and Brenda were incredibly helpful and friendly- they introduced us to the house and farm as soon as we checked in and were always available if needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchenette stocked, and the grounds were gorgeous. Their beautiful 1826 farm house was an authentic experience of staying on a farm- our kids loved feeding the animals (especially Ernie the pig and Moses the horse); picking fresh blueberries; and swimming and paddleboating in the private pond. Our hosts had great recommendations for local outings, and we loved chatting with them and playing with their puppy Jackie. Our family made lifetime memories.

The location was right in the center of town so you can walk everywhere. We really enjoyed the rooftop/hot tub.

Our stay at Graywoods was perfect! The location was stunning; the resident eagles were amazing; the home was comfortable & well designed for a large family group; the kitchen was well equipped & great for cooking; the proximity to adorable downtown Bath was wonderful; the proximity to wild open spaces was ideal; the ability to easily communicate with the owner was much appreciated. Our stay could not have gone any more smoothly. Highly recommend this unique and special spot! Thank you so much!

Lovely home, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is the best stocked one we have ever experienced at a rental house and had everything we wanted and needed. The bed was very comfortable. Our pups felt right at home and enjoyed walks through the ample yard. Dwayne and Pati are great hosts and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the most peaceful, restorative getaway in a breathtakingly beautiful setting! The stunning views and the hot tub under the stars were the highlights. We had only been there a couple hours before we promised ourselves we'd be returning for another vacation soon! Unique, comfortable, clean, cozy, and rejuvenating.

Peaceful Maine beach cottage with walkable access to a private beach. About an hour from Acadia and Bar Habror. Plenty of space, all the necessary amenties and then some, at this quaint property. We had a great time and the host is friendly and responsive.

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

A great stay at this lovely, cozy home—yet again! Already looking forward to returning in July. I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Aaron's place was fantastic for our party of 6 (my partner and me, our kids, her parents). The house was located perfectly on the North end of Mt. Desert Island by Hadley Point Beach (where we were lucky to catch both a meteor shower and the Northern Lights.) While the lower level had a separate entrance, the kids appreciated the additional privacy/area away from adults. The entire house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities (well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, patio) were much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when visiting Acadia.

We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse. It was the perfect fall getaway for our group. The home and brewery were cozy, rustic and ideal for a relaxing weekend with great beer. Dizzy the cat was a major highlight of our stay - he was so friendly and will sleep at the foot of your bed if you let him. Definitely would recommend checking out the Damariscotta area during your stay - the downtown was great for shopping and getting a quick meal before heading back to the privacy of the farmhouse. My wife and our friends are already planning a trip to come back next year - don’t miss this spot!

The Pleasant House was a perfect fit for a sisters getaway. So spacious and well appointed. The short walk into town to shop or have a bite to eat was so convenient. We just happened to be there for the buoy tree lighting and Holiday parade weekend. Downtown decorations were so festive. I would highly recommend this home for your Rockland/mid coast vacation!

Perfect location. Cute rental in a quiet neighborhood. Easily walkable to the major amenities in Bar Harbor. Parking directly in front is super convenient. Modern kitchen, bathroom, and appliances, including washer and dryer which is helpful for longer stays. Nice yard and enclosed patio so you can enjoy being outside. Would definitely return the next time we visit Bar Harbor.

Great 2-level apartment with terrific deck and beautiful view overlooking the river. Quiet and pretty. Owners were very responsive and the kitchen is very well stocked. Nice rustic touches and great running/walking trail along the river, just down the road. WiFi works well. Recommend upgrading the beds as they are small and not very comfortable. Otherwise a great property!

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

Had a wonderful family trip at Samoset Resort. Lovely golf course, clubhouse with restaurant’s and a gorgeous pool. Convenient location to Camden and Rockport where we enjoyed many restaurant’s overlooking the harbor, shopping, Farnsworth Museum as well as a sunset boat tour.

She was very helpful. The condo was amazing! Beautiful views, comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Great location, you can walk to shops and restaurants. We went in the fall, so it was very peaceful.

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!

We found the home clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the back deck very much. The kitchen was well equipped and although we did not do any cooking, if we had, everything was there for us. We really liked how private the home was. Had the weather been warmer we definitely would have checked out the pool. It is also very close to Thomaston, Rockland and Owls Head. So much to do in this area. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet retreat in Maine that is close to the coast.
