Cabin vacation rentals in Stellenbosch

Very nice cottage in the middle of beautiful big apples farm. Not too far from Cape Town. We enjoyed hot bath and cold pool. Children were happy!

Oh. My. God. This was by far one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. We were so lucky being able to book this Airbnb a little spontaneously for two nights because normally it’s booked out weeks in advance. When we arrived we were simply blown away by all the beauty around us. The little house is just perfect and so was our time here. And the owners were also amazing. They helped us with the whirlpool, told us about the new sauna next to our house, they made us find the house easily, have a LOT of recommendations ready for you to read and thought of everything. I mean it. You will love your time here. I hope you will be lucky enough to stay here one day. 🤗 It’s amazing. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful place.

What a peaceful place definitely coming back

We had the most lovely stay at Lalapanzi, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the surroundings and views were so beautiful and tranquil! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality!

I'm not sure the photos can quite do it justice. The cabin is beautifully laid out with good quality finishes and a well thought out design / layout. Despite being in amongst some world class vineyards and not far from local amenities, it seems so peaceful and isolated. The hot tub was quick to get going and a perfect spot to sit and relax and do some stargazing. I can guarantee we will be recommending this spot to everyone heading to Stellenbosch and will likely be back ourselves in one of our next trips to SA and CPT.

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

After a busy term, my wife and I wanted a place to rest and relax. This was the perfect place for that. Absolutely a lovely place to quiet down and spend some intentional time together. Lovely braai and fireplace, good quality bed and bedding. Will not forget this place. Thanks.

We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

Carol was a very gracious host always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything just to let her know .She was open and forth coming .Her place is a little paradise up against the mountain, and very family friendly as there were animals and a pool with pool table and fuse ball for the kids .The chill area is very inviting with lots of seating ,a braai area close to the pool ,with 3 fire places scattered and lots of pretty lighting. The cabin was very comfortable and had all and more than was needed for self catering . She is a thoughtful host and very creative with her decor. I would definitely recommend staying at her place.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin! Everything was perfect, from the cozy atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. The place was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed and providing excellent hospitality. Their friendly attitude made the experience even better! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Definitely worth a visit!

Vanessa is a sweetheart. Very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home. She offered a free breakfast which was delicious. Everything was just lovely. I am definitely coming back.

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!

Excellent stay! Simone and Corne was amazing hosts with a wonderful place to stay. The space was private, clean, beautiful with a special touch. My kids loved the place and had space to play and also enjoyed the swimming pool and trampoline. Thank you so much

We stayed 2 weeks in Teresa's and Howard's cottage. They were wonderful hosts and we had a wonderful time. The location is very close to the wine lands (5 minutes by car to Lourensford or Vergelegen and there are many other's ). Supermarkets and good restaurants are just around the corner. In case you like to play golf there are a lot of opportunities near by. The cottage is clean and well equipped with all you need. The garden is just beautiful and we spent quite some time in this beautiful garden having fun with their pets. In case you need support you will get it. I loved the regular conversations at night with Howard where I got a very good overview of South African history and culture and very good tips on where to go to.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Susan and Hennie’s place. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality that we instantly felt at home. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Susan and Hennie went above and beyond to make our time special, offering local tips, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, and creating an atmosphere of genuine care. Their attention to detail and kindness made all the difference. At the same time, they were incredibly respectful of our privacy, giving us the space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at our own pace. The setting was peaceful and perfect for unwinding, with lovely touches that made it feel like a hidden gem. We can’t recommend this spot highly enough and will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again. Thank you, Susan and Hennie, for an unforgettable stay!
