Monthly Rentals in Star Lake Township

This cabin was special in so many ways! We rented it over the winter and it was an unique experience. The property is very private, peaceful, and surrounded by gorgeous nature. The house is on a lake with stunning views all around. The cabin has the perfect size, architecture, and decor. It is cozy, cute, and combines the traditional Minnesota lake cabin feel with touches of modern Scandinavian modern. We had all the comfort and amenities we needed and it was impeccably clean. We enjoyed lounging around in the living room admiring the frozen lake and hiking in wooded trails that turned out truly magical with the snow and hoarfrost. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Communication with Chris and Daryl was outstanding in many ways. They were always, prompt, flexible, courteous, and extremely kind. We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to enjoy a true Minnesota experience year round. We can’t imagine how incredible it must be to spend a summer week/month there!

This location was beautiful! It sits right on the edge of the lake, nice area around a firepit, with a hammock and outdoor chairs provided. This gated community of tiny homes felt very private and peaceful. There were clear instructions on how to enter/exit the home, the host responded very quick and checked in with me before and after the stay. The house itself had comfortable beds, basic needed cooking supplies, and was very clean/organized. There was a booklet with instructions and recommendations for the area, which was nice to try out. This place and area were definitely a great place to explore small towns and enjoy the outdoors. Overall, I would recommend this cozy stay and would really enjoy coming back when the weather is a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities!

The cabin had lots of thoughtful details and more than everything we needed. There were a good range of bed options for us to choose our preferred mattress firmnesses. We appreciated the homey feel, all the nice light, and the lovely outdoor spaces to hang out. The lake seemed particularly clean and good for swimming. It was a truly relaxing place for a little fall retreat, and the hosts were flexible and generous. I hope we can stay again some day!
