Beach house vacation rentals in St. Simons Island

We started our vacation just when Tropical Storm Debby hit the island. Despite the challenges with the weather (out of anyone's control), we had a fabulous time! The house was spotless, very comfortable, beautifully decorated (great attention to every little detail) ; we loved the open plan, no carpet and no stairs (our blind dog quickly felt at home). Also it was perfectly located close to the beach, restaurants and other attractions. We loved the pool and the fenced backyard was perfect for our small dogs. Our host Adam was proactive, very accessible and responsive, he answered all our questions/concerns promptly and provided great recommendations. He sent someone right away to fix the fence that fell during the storm, and also made sure the pool cleaner came to clear debris & treat the pool as soon as possible. We also visited Jekyll island (about 35 min away- driving) for a day and loved it. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope we can make it back soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The home was incredibly comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the standout features was the beautiful backyard. Although it was December, making the pool a bit too chilly for swimming, it was still lovely to relax around. The heated pool added a touch of luxury, and I can only imagine how enjoyable it would be in warmer weather. Our host was exceptional, definitely the best we've ever encountered! She was immediately responsive, even on Christmas Day, when we had a quick question. Her attentiveness truly made our stay special. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the village restaurants, making it easy to explore and enjoy local dining options. Overall, I can't wait to return to this fantastic place! It’s perfect for anyone looking for comfort, great service and atmosphere!

We loved staying here! Great amenities and space for a family vacation… and pleasant 10-20 minute walk to village and East beach. Very easy to communicate with Aletha, too. We would definitely like to come back!

Clean and comfortable house with fabulous backyard, and easy walk to village for restaurants, shops, and tennis/pickleball. Worked out great for our group of 4.

Derek’s house was perfect for our large family get together! The location is within a short walk to downtown, the pier, the lighthouse, and numerous great restaurants. The ping pong table kept the boys busy. We appreciate everything Derek did to make our stay easy!

I couldn't imagine a better experience for our group of 10 guests. Lesley's communication was proactive and kind, and she was exceptionally hospitable. The house itself is also perfect for a group of this size. This will be the first place I look next time I'm in or around St. Simons.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Glynn Cottage! There was plenty of space for everyone to hangout together and also to have our own privacy. The elevator was key. We especially loved the open concept, large kitchen, and the dining table that we could all sit at together. The walk to the pools and beach were easy. The pools are very well maintained and the boardwalk out to the beach was so nice. Our family would and probably will stay here again.

Loved this house. So beautiful and plenty of space for our family to spread out during our family reunion. The kitchen was great and had everything I needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. Look forward to booking again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Breeze! It suited our family of six with room to spare. The location was perfect with beach access very close by. There is a little coffee/breakfast/frozen custard shop right around the corner called The Cottage. So cute! Delicious restaurants in walking distance. Just a great location! The house is beautiful with comfortable living spaces and beds. It was a perfect layout. The outdoor activities, specifically Corn Hole, added to our fun. We would rent this again and again! We had a little issue with the microwave but Hope quickly rectified it. She was a great host and easy to work with.

The house is in a great location and very comfortable. The front yard looks much bigger in the pictures. Basically, you can fit two cars and then sit in those cute chairs right next to the cars. But the backyard is fenced and perfect if you bring a dog. We had an issue with the dishwasher, and they came out immediately and resolved it. They will send you a note about basically bringing most of your own supplies (dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc.) which we did, but we still ran out and couldn't run the dishwasher before we left.

Location was perfect for our stay on Jekyll island. Very comfortable setting making it very relaxing. We would recommend Jacob’s place to everyone. We look forward to coming back during warmer weather

We stayed with 6 adults and 2 kids to celebrate my Mom’s retirement from teaching school! The space was beautifully decorated and perfect for our family. A short bike ride from Main Street and the horseback riding.

House is lovely, clean and comfortable. Great location. We enjoyed going to the beach at around low tide; very private. Beautiful setting.

Our host was friendly and extremely responsive. The home is in a quaint, walkable an peaceful location and was close to every thing we needed. A beautiful park with a large playground and 8 pickleball courts was just a few blocks away. A short walk and you are on Ocean Blvd where there are tons of restaurants, shops, etc. The beach was easily accessible by foot or bike. The home looked like the pictures and was well equipped for all our needs (bikes, lawn chairs, a well stocked kitchen, tons of beach towels, etc.) The bedrooms were spacious. The porches (front and screened in back) had comfortable seating that allowed us to be outside whenever we wanted. The front and back yards were beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent this home when we return.

This home was absolutely perfect. It literally had everything we needed to feel at home (for grown ups, kids and pups). The home itself is beautiful and you can tell that it is very well taken care of. The kids playroom, crib, and children's books is such a thoughtful touch. Kevin and Janet were so responsive to everything we inquired about. This is a total gem of a house and we can't wait for our next stay! Thank you Kevin and Janet!

We stayed at this property evacuating during hurricane Milton. Kathy was very empathetic, responsive, and kind enough to let us check in early. The property was nice and clean, very quiet and great neighbors. Would happily stay here again whenever I come back to the island!

Great host and a great location. The house is on a quiet street but convenient to restaurants, shopping and the beach. I don’t recommend walking to the beach as it is a bit of a hike, but a short car ride to East Beach parking. Beds were clean and comfortable and the living space was open with room for relaxing. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Very large house with plenty of room for our entire family. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The only set back we had was we could not locate any potholders to remove items from the oven, other than that, I would highly recommend this house!

This place was so great! Perfect especially if you have dogs. The dog door on the back was genius! Had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been improved was that the screen door is broken, so it swings wildly when opened, but other than that, great place.

We stayed for 2 weeks and had such a wonderful time! The home has been updated and looks super clean and modern. Backyard was both perfect for our dogs and a peaceful retreat in all weather. The location was so walkable and safe. I think the standout part of our trip was how helpful and responsive our hosts were! We had a blast and highly recommend for anyone visiting SSI!
