Awesome sunsets - Silver Sands is one of the few area lakes that is full and natural spring fed. Water is crystal clear and soft yes soft. 2 private decks, laundry room, and 2 carports. Two kayaks, Lake front swimming and fishing - come relax. 5 minute drive to groceries and gas. New fast WiFi , interior paint and metal roof. Pets are welcome but don’t we do charge a fee. We also charge a late checkout fee. Fireplace is not in service. RV pad with electric and water at 100 night option .

My daughter’s HS Softball team travelled from Ohio to play in an Easter tournament in Hickory. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel like the team and were lucky to book the cabin for most of the week! We felt very prepared for the drive down the narrow road thanks to detailed messages and pictures that were sent days in advance. Once to the cabin, we didn’t want to leave merely because it was perfect. Had everything we needed and provided a wonderful resting place for fishing (although there were more snags than bites) and porch time reading. Loved how easy it was to get into Hickory and got to experience some amazing restaurants (Olde Hickory Station and Hickory Social) as well as time on The Riverwalk and enjoying Union Square when we weren’t at the fields of Stanford Park. If we ever head south again, this will definitely be a place we’d come back to.

The neighbors were extremely nice and friendly. We felt extremely safe at their home. The availability of the dock was ideal for docking my boat. The view of the lake was spectacular and the wildlife of osprey, geese, ducks, and the blue heron was mesmerizing! We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay!

We stayed at this home for a month and Karla was a wonderful host! She was so helpful in assisting us in baby proofing the pool area which made our stay so much better and comfortable. The house is lovely and the outdoor space is just unbelievable. We loved the privacy of the property and the beautiful sunsets. There’s a deli nearby that is walkable, but you have to drive a little to get to other main stores. No big deal at all and was a welcome activity for my toddler. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this to anyone else!

My family and I visited Greenwood, SC during Valentine’s Day Weekend. We’re a party of 5 but felt like everyone had enough room to have their own space yet be able to gather together for family time in the mornings and evenings. The girls loved that each room had a tv and bathroom. The stairs and loft were a huge hit with the littles. My husband and I slept comfortably in the bed and talked about how nice the mattress was for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the accommodations. This is a beautiful cabin, perfect for a girls’ weekend. Beautiful furniture, well appointed kitchen, good location convenient to the lake, nice screened in porch. It is across the street from the lake so there are obstructed views. Host was responsive whenever we messaged. Would definitely stay there again.
