Vacation rentals with a hot tub in South Kona

The Kona Dolphin & Whale house is unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed. It is even more incredible than the pictures show. The view of the bay is unreal. You can sit out in the morning to watch surfers and in the evening enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The house itself is very well appointed and has everything you need for a great stay in Kona. David gave really clear instructions for check-in and the whole stay was wonderful. A true piece of paradise in Kona!

There's a reason (actually, a lot of reasons) this place is rated so highly. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We had a few concerns about staying so far from Kona, but it ended up being one of the best things about our trip. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and there's a grocery store, great food and even shave ice within 5 minutes of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean, and so we ate in fairly often. An unexpected perk was all of the beach toys available to use in the laundry area. So nice to have! The caretaker downstairs is also very quiet, and super friendly. And Mikael is a fantastic host. Yes, there are signs all over the house. Some are helpful and some feel excessive. And it can get pretty warm when it's hot outside (90 in November was surprising!), but neither of those things are enough to remove even half a star from this experience. We've already recommended the house to friends, and will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Kaleo was a wonderful host- very friendly & responsive! Her home was very comfortable & convenient to restaurants/beaches in Hilo. We especially loved relaxing on the back patio in the mornings & evenings. One thing to note is the 2nd bedroom & laundry requires going outside & downstairs which is a little inconvenient/dark at night.

I highly recommend this place! Julie and Logan were very responsive and made sure our stay was great. They checked on us after our first night and asked if they could do anything to make it better. I didn’t need anything because we fell in love with their home. There are cats roaming around and occasionally get in but this is stated before booking so we were fine with it. We actually wanted to take a kitten home with us. Lol. The home was clean and I was surprised that there were no bugs inside the home. We will definitely be back!

Loved the setting. We live rural at home so a 20 min drive to Hilo not an issue for us. Views from all sides is the house were amazing.

We loved this Airbnb as a group of two couples. We had our 1.5 year old and it was perfect to have the pack n play available with two separate sleeping spaces. The hot tub was perfect and it’s a very peaceful setting. We had pheasants in the yard both mornings. Thank you!

Wow! We loved everything about Alexey's house. The cleanliness, the layout inside, the fully stocked kitchen, the lanai, the backyard and the grotto with a spa. The view from the house is amazing! Our group of 9 adults and an 8 month old baby had the best time at the house and exploring the Big Island. The pictures and information for the listing are on point. We had plenty of room for our group. There's items for the baby. You also have access to beach gear. Plenty of room for parking. The theater room was awesome. Great way to start the holidays watching Christmas movies in there. The big backyard gives you lots of privacy. We enjoyed picking fresh fruit from the trees. There's a KTA grocery store within minutes that basically has everything you need. The location of the house in the Waikoloa Village is perfect. Alexey and Kate are great hosts! Very responsive in a timely manner to any questions. Thank you for helping our family make wonderful memories during our stay!

This is our second time at this rental!! And I think we’ll be back next year!! Quiet, private and peaceful. Kids loved the pool.

We stayed at Royal Sea Cliff in unit 109, and it was absolutely amazing. The property was right on the ocean, and the condo was very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we could ever want. It has a huge lanai which we enjoyed using for our morning coffee and our glass of wine at sunset. There were also pool toys for the kids, and plenty of beach gear for us which was very useful. The grounds are lovely, and the building is well maintained and cleaned. We had an issue with one of the bathroom doors that had gotten off the track, and Kona Coast was very attentive, and sent a handyman out the next day to fix it. The unit is definitely a little pricier, but it was well worth the money spent, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only recommendation I would give is to update their cable tv to maybe provide Netflix or at least to have a working tv guide. When we wanted to watch a show at night, we had to manually flip through each channel to find a show, because the digital guide said "no information" for each channel. But this was an insignificant detail compared to everything else that was awesome with the unit. We would love to stay here again if we're ever on the Big Island again!

This rental was amazing! Its the perfect set up, it was very clean, well equipped, and had what we needed for a great day at the beach. When you drive into the complex, it looks very upscale, the inside is clean and comfortable. The location is within walking distance of coffee, an upscale mall. and some REALLY good restaurants. It took about 15min to walk to the beach, saw some sea turtles, and there is a great restaurant (lava lava beach club), that is open air, and a great place to watch the sunset. Highly recommend.

The area was beautiful, beach, shopping, movie theater, resturants, and much more all walkable. The villa overlooks the golf course quiet and peaceful. The owners everything you need for a great visit to the beach, If you don't mind staying about 20 minutes from Kona, it's a great place to stay

This place was great, very private but close to many of the multiple attractions in the Big Island. A supermarket just down the road, restaurants, the beach, location location location. The place was very clean and we had everything we need to cook in the kitchen and most supplies provided (toilet paper, tissues, kitchen paper, dishwasher pods, etc.). We will be back!

Came for the 2024 Ironman, and this was a great place to stay. Beautiful beaches, pool, gym, clean, and very well kept. Would love to stay again on our next trip to the island.

We absolutely loved our stay! The setting was beautiful and the amenities were first class. We cannot wait to return. The two primary bedrooms were perfect for two couples and the kitchen and outdoor grill were perfect for staying in and cooking after a day at the beach.

If you’re thinking about staying here, take my advice and do it! Location is stunning - and the house is modern and very clean. Kitchen is state of the art, hot tub was super clean, outdoor shower was perfection. Perfectly located between Hilo and Pahoa/Puna areas. We spent every morning and evening on the top patio, watching the waves. We even saw a whale once! Can’t wait to return.

My girlfriend, dog and I loved the stay. The heaters and fireplace made it nice and cozy. We both loved the peace and private of this cabin in the woods and would definitely go again

My husband and I needed a get away from work and family life and this ohana was perfect! Privacy, seclusion, beautiful nature. The house was clean, up to date, plenty of everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the hot tub. 10 out of 10 recommended!

Beautiful A frame cabin in volcano. Made for a very peaceful and comfortable stay. The place is exactly as described, clean, and comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at Manta Soul in the Banyan Bungalow! The bungalow is tucked under a giant banyan tree and is very cozy inside with a queen bed, kitchen space, bathroom with outdoor shower, and a big deck out front. We slept so well with the sound of the coqui (and earplugs provided by the hosts) and the relaxing breeze coming in through the screens on every side of the house. It was delightfully rustic and still very comfortable: the screens do a great job of keeping the bugs on the outside, and there is a Citronella candle, UV light, and bug spray to keep you comfortable on the deck. The rest of the property itself is stunning--full of native plant and bird life with abundant fruit trees. We loved exploring the grounds, spending time in the brand new pool, and enjoying the view of the ocean from the deck. The location is amazing and Christophe and Bonnie were very kind and responsive hosts with great local recommendations. This is easily the best Airbnb I've ever visited!

Driving in through the neighborhood and dense canopy of flowering trees, we knew we were in for a treat. The cabin certainly did not disappoint; so incredibly charming, spotlessly clean, and silent (oh yeah, and it smelled like heaven in the cabin from the fresh flowers). Any stress just melted away immediately. The private hot tub was just the icing on that delicious cake. An amazing experience.

I loved this place so much! I felt so safe! It was secluded and gated and i’m a freak and am always triple check locks but there was multiple locks on each door which made me feel so much safer! the view from the porch was so gorgeous I loved waking up every morning and walking out to see the nature! The hot tub was nice I wish there was another light outside for night time but other than that I loved this place so so much! Also the bed was very comfortable!

Great place, very close to the park entrance- a little off the grid, but plenty of heaters and blankets and a great base camp. Gary was very responsive and helpful
