Vacation rentals with beach access in South Kona

We loved staying at Rebeca’s place. It was perfect for our family of four. Newly renovated and nicely decorated with all the amenities we needed. Very clean with easy automated check in and out. We loved the short walk to the beach and the quiet neighborhood. Rebeca was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend her place. Mahalo!

Here’s a suggestion for your Airbnb review: I had a wonderful time staying at this property! It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the comforts and amenities I needed for a perfect stay in Hawaii. The space was well-equipped, clean, and the location was ideal for exploring the island. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! One thing I would suggest for light sleepers is to bring ear plugs, the garbage truck comes like every other day and is very loud. Everything else this place is and offers out weighs that noise though! We will be back someday for sure!

Kathie's place was amazing. The location on the water was magical. Loved the sound of the waves. Just so relaxing. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Kathie's place. Hopefully, we'll be able to return soon!

Amazing! Kathy's place blew us away with how fully equipped, clean, airy, and extremely well located on the Kona coast the apartment is (right across the street from the shore so you could hear the beautiful sounds of breaking waves). We had everything we could possibly need to cook, BBQ on site, snorkel, boogie board or lay out on the beach and relax. Speaking of relaxing, the message chair was the best bonus for us after a long day of hiking, swimming, and snorkeling. The building was very quiet for us so we had no issues relaxing after a long day. Kathy was very quick to respond if we needed to ask a question, something we appreciate very much. She also left great tips on where to eat and explore across the island. Truly a home away from home. We hope we get lucky enough to stay again in the future!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this condo. It has everything you need and more. The washer/dryer is such a clutch when traveling to and from the beach, and the location is perfect to access the north and south sides of Kona without too much driving. Tom was very responsive to any questions about the unit and answered in a timely manner. Definitely looking forward to staying here again in our next visit!

Easy to find and a good location to get where we wanted to go even without a car. The bed was super comfy, and the place was stocked with just what we needed. The sunsets at the pool were gorgeous!

It is beautiful studio apartment. Loved the interior and set up was perfect . We enjoyed cooking dinner and breakfast here. Jacinta responded to us right away . Entry to the unit was so easy and not frustrating . Location is perfect to town and restaurants. AC was the best . We would definitely stay here in the future

The Kona Dolphin & Whale house is unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed. It is even more incredible than the pictures show. The view of the bay is unreal. You can sit out in the morning to watch surfers and in the evening enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The house itself is very well appointed and has everything you need for a great stay in Kona. David gave really clear instructions for check-in and the whole stay was wonderful. A true piece of paradise in Kona!

Great spot to unwind. Incredible view from the lanai and everything you could need to relax. Pebble Beach 3 blocks away at the bottom of the hill is a great sunset spot, and it's a quick drive to some great snorkeling/swimming spots. Tons of little honor-system fruit stands nearby, and excellent poke on the main road towards Captain Cook. The host, Minh, was a great communicator, preemptively answering pretty much any question I could have come up with. Minh also sent a nice alert about surf conditions with a recommendation for a sheltered place to snorkel. Sorry to have to leave.

Kaleo was a wonderful host- very friendly & responsive! Her home was very comfortable & convenient to restaurants/beaches in Hilo. We especially loved relaxing on the back patio in the mornings & evenings. One thing to note is the 2nd bedroom & laundry requires going outside & downstairs which is a little inconvenient/dark at night.

The house was very comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. Beds are VERY comfy! We enjoyed all the beach gear they had available to use and the location is just a very short walk to White Sands beach. Our family had a great time here!

A wonderful location literally over the road from magic sands beach. Very well equipped house that was quiet and spacious. Susan was very helpful and easy to get hold of. We want to come back!

Jenn and Kristian’s home was lovely ! Very well appointed apartment and great communication from the hosts. I asked for fragrance free linens and towels due to allergies and they accommodated without any hesitation !

I booked this home to stay with my parents, my wife, and our son. It did not dissapoint! The place was really awesome. The pool was great, the house was super clean, beds were very comfortable. Everything you could need in a house was included. Our hosts were very communicative, responsive, and kind. The property was surrounded by a lush garden with tons of very beautiful plants and landscaping. Great attention to detail was put into the home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in a wonderful home on the big island!

There are not enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay here! The unit was spectacular! The view was absolutely breathtaking! The condo itself had everything we could possibly need! Jennifer went above and beyond! We traveled to another island after our stay here and stayed at another place. There was no comparison! They both had incredible views but Jennifer’s place was so much better! Clean, well maintained, updated, and everything provided from soaps to beach equipment! We would definitely recommend to someone else and return here ourselves!

Terry's place is a hidden gem! When your backyard is The Ocean, what more can you wish for? We enjoyed sunrise & sunsets over the ocean by taking a few steps to the "backyard". It was so fun to watch the surfers every morning and evening. Close to downtown Kona, the highway, and snorkeling. Great central location. Used the community grill often to enjoy dinner by the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with all the tools you would need. A pop-up market just a short walk away to purchase local fruits and veggies. Open Thur-Sun. 2 other locally run marts super close for your needs. This place is great if you are a homebody and prefer to stay home and cook or it is a perfect home base while out adventuring the entire island. Well maintained grounds and facility. We will be back! Mahalo!

Marc’s condo was fantastic! Such a great location, close to the beach and within walking distance of a few restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here!

My wife and I live on Kauai - we island hoped for our anniversary and stayed here for two nights. The view is impeccable! Directly across from Banyans surf break and a pitch perfect little cove. All shopping was close along with the main strip which was why we picked this spot. Also the free parking in the complex is super convenient as parking is expensive for non-residents. If you’re full time residents like us you can download an app and park most places for free for two hours but have to have a valid Hawaii driver license. Full kitchen was spotless and nicely remodeled and easy to find everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Rooms were great - nicely updated with comfortable beds and pillows. AC was cold and worked fairly well - especially for the family room, master bedroom, and kitchen area. We spent a lot of time on the lanai watching the sunrises and sunsets and just enjoying the view… that’s truly the charm and value of the spot. Would recommend and will book again.

Our unit was everything we’d hoped for on our visit to Kona. We loved the place so much that my wife is already talking about our next trip to Kona. Everything from the unit to the grounds to the pools and fellow guests made this the perfect place to stay!

Marco very accurately described and photographed the condo. It was exactly as written, great view, clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. A couple good additions would be a blender and a salad spinner. The angle of the condo gets wonderful morning sun. To see the sunset we needed to go down by the lovely pool. We enjoyed the nightly sunset ritual of conch shell horns. All amenities were convenient!

Had a great time! Great place to stay and walkable to lots of spots. Would stay again!
