Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in South Carlsbad State Beach

First of all, the location was amazing with no hotels around so this is a hidden gem. The apartment itself was spotless and extremely efficient with the use of space. Jeff communicated non stop and their digital guidebook helped a ton. I was actually booking the place for my son and his wife as I have an apartment in that building and the one thing that is a challenge is navigating getting in and out of the building because of the (awesome) secured nature of the building. However, Jeff's directions accompanied by pictures were so good, I might have to borrow it for letting people I know figure out how to get to my place! Definitely will book again when I have friends and family in the area as it beats any hotel.

The address and parking details were clearly listed on the website, and Amir replied quickly to my questions, so everything went smoothly without any issues. The room was exactly as shown in the photos, and I had a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in San Diego.

Had a great time in SD. Aaron’s place was a very nice and convenient place to reset and relax in between visiting local establishments and friends. The descriptions and photos are accurate to the real thing. We would stay here again.

Lovely condo at a beautiful resort. Full kitchen with plenty of dishes making it feel like a home. Very responsive host. A little difficulty getting in to the main building door, as the only code provided in the "house manual" was the code for the inside door. It wasn't discovered until after sifting through the many automated reminder emails that there was another front door code. Would recommend clarifying those instructions. All in all a very comfortable stay! Thank you!

I had a convention for the week and am so glad the hotels were outrageous as I helped me find Ben’s place. It’s wonderful and so is Ben.

I needed a place close to family in the San Diego area with a good workable kitchen for hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. Throw in the fun location and modern, clean and comfortable accommodations and we had ourselves a splendid stay! Very nice beach house! Walked right down the street to the bay and see the boats and the families out walking and rollerblading. Great for families or adult couples.

Absolutely fantastic location, building, and views from a great one bedroom condo. Loved the location and the building amenities were beyond compare. To incredible and stunning views to a great gym to an incredible arcade area Clayton's rental exceeded all of my expectations.

We had a great stay in Oceanside. Paul was extremely friendly and responded to all needs quickly and promptly. The house was very minimalistic- which made it very easy to see that it was clean and also made for a quick clean-up! North Coast Village is very pretty to walk through, especially at night with all the Christmas lights. A short walk to the beach. We came in December so it was a little too chilly for the ocean, but our family really enjoyed the hot tub every night. My only piece of advice would be that if you are renting a car- get a car or smaller SUV. We had a Ford Expedition that was a little tight to get in and out of the parking garage spaces. Doable- just takes some time! Overall, a great stay!

We loved our stay here! This is a beautiful condo with an amazing view and great ambience. Bart and Debra have this decorated so well. It has such a comfy, beachy vibe. North Coast Village is fabulous! The landscaping feels like you are in an oasis! It is so clean and the security and tranquility is top notch! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

All-in-all nice vacation spot. You can always find something to complain (i.e. musty odor mentioned in the previous review is a fact but everybody has a different tolerance level). Bikes are GREAT addition to the experience as you can almost drop using your car unless to stock up in Trader Joe's. Sandra is very welcoming host, instructions are clear and precise.

The location is perfect

What a lovely condo, view and property! The condo was clean, nicely decorated, well kept and had all the comforts of home. We appreciated the attention to detail including comfortable bedding, fully stocked kitchen, chairs, wagon and towels for the beach, golf clubs & balls for the mini putting green. The unit has a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and bedroom. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was the best. The property is a tropical oasis located perfectly between the harbor and pier. It also has a great gym and rec ctr with a pool table. Booked this place for my fiancé, it was his first time seeing and experiencing the ocean. We absolutely loved this place! Beach access 24/7, great restaurants at walking distance, peaceful surroundings, koi pond, and everything felt safe. There was initially a miscommunication with the cleaning service and we walked into a dirty place, but we let Paul know and had them there within the hour. We didn't mind as this can easily happen to anyone and Paul resolved it extremely fast with so much kindness. We will definitely be back, thank you Paul & Lisa! <3

Great space that is close to the beach. The complex is well maintained. Imran communicated well with us and personally walked us through the condo to make sure we were satisfied. Beach chairs, sand toys all provided. Close to Camp Pendleton and some great restaurants. Would book again and highly recommend!

This is the second time that we have stayed at this Airbnb and it did not disappoint. There are so many mindful additions to this home that make your stay really comfortable! John added some holiday decor and a scale for your suitcase in the main living space. there's nothing worse than having to repack your suitcase when you're checking in at the airport. The space is great for our little family. When I come to San Diego, this is the perfect place for us to stay! Thank you, John!

Place was very nice, close to freeway for easy travel. Backyard was spacious and sad we didn't really get to use it much. Kim was very responsive and provided information days before our check in date.

We loved this home so much, we came back for a 2nd time, to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. This modern gem is beautifully laid out, with lots of space for a family. It offers breathtaking rooftop views of the coast and stunning sunsets. Diana was an incredible host; helpful and accommodating! We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

Fun times in OB! visited for family reunion in OB for Thanksgiving. All members rented houses via Airbnb so got to see other options in area, and ours/Tina's was by far the best. As mentioned,,,, one of the largest options in the area, which made it quite comfortable. Not on beach,,, but so easy to walk and frankly, benefit of not the craziness of that area. House had EVERYTHING and was spotless. Easy access with tech code. yes, you do have to deal with AIRPLANES ,,, but so does everyone else!

Daniel & Emily were amazing hosts, very communicative and flexible. We loved the hot tub and the littles in our family really enjoyed the playhouse outside and play-kitchen inside. We had a lot of quality family time, and this house was perfect for that. The only hiccup we had was the WiFi going out but that was quickly resolved - messaged back right away with instructions on how to reset the router and then came in person to fix within 2 hours after resetting it didn't work.

The stay was great from check in to check out. Highly recommend this location for large family get togethers. We opted to heat the pool which definitely added to enjoying the house completely during the fall. We used the kitchen pretty much for every meal and had the little ones enjoy the garage just as much. 5 stars and would book again for the next get together. Dominican approved!
