A super cute, extremely fresh and clean, nicely renovated home in well established neighborhood next to a school. Mostly quiet- there is a well traveled street in front of the home. The neighbors were quiet. Linens all crisp, clean and comfortable beds. Thinking the memory foam mattress was going to be too firm- I was wrong and slept great! The home is very well stocked in kitchen, laundry and bathroom- lots of little 'extras' made it evident Beth is truly interested in being a great host. There were lots of wonderful things about this stay- the smell of the house was one- no funky odors, no fragrances (that's a big plus the last airbnb I had to unplug about 10 air fresheners that were offensive). The white linens were super white, clean and soft. Even the throw in the living room seemed freshly washed. There is a countertop dishwasher which is a little different- but we hand washed instead. Kitchen well stocked- even a Brita water filter pitcher in the fridge! Great place to stay!

We were very pleased with how tasteful the home was decorated and so welcoming. It was very close to all the things we wanted to do. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

I didn’t stay at Leah’s place, but my husband has had work to do nearby and he was very comfortable there. He said that he likes the proximity to nearby places, but he also likes coming back to peaceful surroundings to continue work in the evenings. He did a local grocery pick up and there was everything he needed to make simple meals for himself. He actually had some stuff to wrap up with work and booked again instead of dealing with a hotel. I’m guessing this will be his yearly go-to for lodging for as long as the cute little yellow cottage is available! Thanks, Leah!! The Emerson’s
