Can’t say enough nice words about our stay in Stratford at #23. The house is exactly what you’d expect from the description and pictures on the App, if not better in real life. It’s location is excellent - 2x parking spaces that are free and allow you to park up and walk to and from all the great local amenities and attractions. During our stay we walked to and from the racecourse, the town centre and the theatre. The house is super sociable, we got an amazing takeaway delivered to the property on night one - no hassle. We lifted some groceries locally and made great use of the kitchen and dining space which flows lovely out to the garden space. The bedrooms are all equally excellent and not a dud room amongst them. Bed linen and duvets and mattresses all high quality and make that difference. Jess is truly a super host - if you stay here go round the corner to the pub on Bull Street, it’s worth it

So peaceful and private. Good shower, soft high quality bedding, lots of lighting options, decent sized fridge (no freezer), useful extras in kitchen, fresh flowers a welcome touch, lovely and warm with the underfloor heating. First experience using a combi oven/microwave but very easy with instruction manual once I'd decided what setting to use! Smooth and easy process from booking to check out. Jan accommodated me on the same day and was happy for me to stay an extra night with very short notice. Really appreciated the flexibility and all the local information she provided. Didn't meet in person but had option to and always responsive to messages. Thank you for providing exactly what I needed Jan, I'd happily return

We are a family of history buffs who went to Stratford-Upon-Avon as a birthday gift to my wife. She is a major Shakespeare fan. Just touching the late 18th century exposed beams in the apartment was a pleasure. The rooms are exquisitely designed with modern elements in an historical space. We weren’t even aware until after our arrival that the location of Shakespeare’s last home, and one of our essential tourist destinations, was right across the street. It was an absolute joy to stay in this space and it really added to the ‘Shakespearean birthday gift’ element of our trip.

The house suited our group perfectly - spotlessly clean with every detail considered. It is in such a peaceful cul de sac location with parking, but so very close to the town centre - a winning combination! Also the walk to town along the canal (if you choose) is so picturesque accessed by a gate from the garden. We had beautiful weather in April so enjoyed sitting in the garden which was a bonus. Sue was excellent with communication, check in information & left a welcome basket which was generous. We hope to return again when visiting Stratford & highly recommend Moorhen Cottage .

We had a lovely couple of nights away as we were visiting an event at the NEC, it was a great location with the NEC being 10 min drive away. Accommodation was clean and tidy with car park space for one car. Hosts great communication and very friendly. Just a small thing to bear in mind that there is a pub next door (as very openly mentioned in listing) which often had music on a Fri/Sat and while this does go of at 12ish it may not suit those with younger families. All together we had a lovely time :)

We have had an absolutely great weekend at number 2 Bell Cottage! Felt like a home from home! Hosts were so helpful and welcoming! Ensuring to send us local recommendations, instructions and handy tips! The cottage itself had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, very spacious & homely. Milk, tea bags, coffee & sugar on arrival to make sure we had a brew after a very long drive was very much appreciated, and there were extra towels, pillows, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner! You name it, they'd supplied it! The secure car park was an added bonus, ensuring our car was safe during our stay. Plenty to do in the area and perfect for us visiting the NEC with it being just a 5 minute drive to get to! The Morrisons across the road was a life saver, especially if needing to get some last minute essentials (snacks 🤣). On leaving I'd forgotten my coat, which the hosts are kindly posting back to me! Very kind people, would 100% recommend & we are looking forward to visiting again! Diolch!
