An absolutely fantastic stay! Really lovely little cottage for two of us and our dog. The property had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. Our dog felt really at home as well, finding it very easy to settle. Our favourite part was being so close to the neighbouring farm and seeing the lambs and Shetland pony right outside the kitchen window. I really couldn’t recommend it more and would love to stay again, just bring thick socks or slippers as the floor can get cold in the kitchen.

We stayed here for two nights and had a really lovely experience. The host is a kind and friendly lady who made us feel very welcome and was always helpful. The location is in the true countryside, surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved hearing the sounds of lambs and chickens—it added such a peaceful and charming touch to our stay. The caravan was also surprisingly warm and cozy, even though it was quite cold outside. We also absolutely adored her dog—it made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway in the Lake District.

First, the town of Kendal and the surrounding country side are the reason why the English language has the words quaint, picturesque, and sublime. A picture perfect setting that surely inspired the aesthetics for the Teletubbies and iconic Windows XP background. On to the tiny mansion: Clean, craftsman like quality, and thoughtfully designed. You’ve never fully understood “less is more” until you’ve cooked dinner, played scrabble, and watched the sunset over the rolling green hills of rural England until you’ve spent a night at this AirBnB. Meet the Dalai Lama, be blessed by the Pope, but you can never attain the same tranquility as is possible when imbibing in the sheep and tranquility filled respite that is this AirBnB. The apartment was lovely and an amazing location, it was everything we expected and thanks Sally leaving milk eggs etc for us! It was super nice and easy to get in to😊 I will definitely stay here again for when I come back up to the Lakes!
