Monthly Rentals in Skagaströnd

Thordur’s place has become one of our favorite Airbnbs in Iceland! It is super comfortable, impeccably clean, and perfectly located—right across from the black sand beach. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the communication with the host was excellent—quick responses and very accommodating. We stayed in winter, and while it was freezing outside, the apartment was warm and cozy. Can’t recommend it enough. We hope to return soon!

We loved our stay!!! The house was at a good location next to Blönduós, clean and well equipped and much more beautiful from the photos. Also a great location for catching the lights (we got to see them from our porch). Next to the house is the farm with the horses ❤️. Brynja was there to greet us at our arrival and help us with everything. We would love to come back. Totally recommend it!

I spent some wonderful days in this cottage in northwest Iceland. The location is fantastic, overlooking the vastness of the countryside and at night on the northern lights. The house is cozy, modernly equipped and very clean. I especially liked the large windows and the quiet, secluded location – here I could get complete privacy. The hosts were friendly and gave great tips on local excursions. A perfect place to experience and disconnect the nature of Northwest Iceland – I'd love to come back!

Our host Irma is super friendly and nice. A very beautiful and comfy home with a lot of amenities. The view from house is amazing and you can catch the northern lights as well. We would highly recommend if you are in the area to stay here.
