Villa vacation rentals in Sitia

We arrived very late (around 10 pm) and Despoina and her husband gave us a warm welcome. This place is perfect for two families with kids. The pool is played, chatted, and ate together. Nevertheless, everyone has their individual retreats. Private beach access is less than two minutes walk and perfect for snorkeling. Five minutes from the house there is a public beach with loungers and umbrellas. The three tavernas in the immediate vicinity are also recommended. In any case, a car is recommended for excursions (Vreiko cave or the Richti Gorge) or for visiting the weekly markets in Ierepetra or Agio Nikolaos. Communication with Despoina and her husband was completely straightforward in English. With their hospitality and warmth, we will remember the two weeks and enjoy the olive oil (thank you again).

What a fantastic stay….we had a great week at Villa Vorna! The property is about 20 mins outside Agios Nikolaos up in the hills, so a bit out of the way but you are rewarded with wonderful views everyday. The villa is in excellent condition inside and out and has everything you need…we were even greeted with a lovely welcome pack! Local tavernas about 10 mins away if you don’t fancy going all the way into town. Would definitely recommend!

I rented Roxana’s beautiful Villa Iliothea for a month to celebrate my 70th birthday. The Villa exceeded my expectations. It was everything described & more. Rozana’s response was always positive, informative, and timely. Rozana went over the top to make my month at the Villa exquisite. The Villa is equipped with any and everything we needed all month long. The beautiful terrace was a place for magnificent sunsets. I would recommend Villa Iliothea for a week or a month. I had a terrific stay, birthday, & Easter because of the passion Rozana put into Villa Iliothea.

the villas are located in a resort on a kind of plateau at an altitude of 300 m with an incredible view of the west facing bay. Depending on the villas you have an unobstructed view of the sunset over the bay. Ours was on the first line and we were able to see a flamboyant sunset every night. The villa was very well equipped. Some have a private pool. Not ours but the communal pool was largely enough for our happiness. The location was peaceful. 20/25 minutes from the beaches, 40 minutes from Agios Nicolaos, Laltitude allowed us to have very bearable temperatures for lunch outside or enjoy the swimming pool while at the same time at sea level it was very hot Chris and Warren the resort managers were flexible and responsive. Had a lovely 10 days. I recommend to anyone who loves calm, the sea, the lounging sun by the pool and pleasant villas to live in. Important point: The road is very winding .

We had a wonderful stay at Manos house. The place is much bigger than it looks and was very impressive. Air con in every room, plenty of amenities, comfy beds, abundance of bathrooms and balconies so you can choose to sit in the shade or sun. Location was great, short stroll from the town, beach, and lots of restaurants as well as super markets on the doorstep! Manos was a great host with good communication throughout and answered any questions we had while there was also very accommodating on check in/ out times with our flight. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you!!!

Very friendly welcoming by Annette and Ton. The outdoor patio and the private swimming pool are the highlight of the place. Ton nicely and discreetly took care of the pool before we woke up. Mirtos is only a few minutes drive away with some nice restaurants. Perfect for a relaxing family holidays.

Check-in and check-out was super easy. Our host was very accommodating. There was a nice and delicious host gift to get in. When the vacuum cleaner was broken, he picked it up and brought it back a few days later. The villa is slightly elevated overlooking the infinity pool, associated olive grove and Malia. The view is gorgeous. You are lonely (except for the crickets), but still within 10 minutes walking in the city, where there are a bakery with delicious cakes and baguette / croissants in addition to several supermarkets, lots of restaurants, right by the church. The house is equipped with everything you could need. It is nicely decorated, with decoration, many pictures and books (also which in German). There is a foosball that we liked to use. The pool is gorgeous, about 1.40 m deep (our son is 1.44 m tall and was able to hold your head over water on your toes. The pool may be 6m x 3.50m. It's just appreciated. He was enough for us. It is nice that often despite the 30 - 32 degrees Celsius a light wind went, so it was a lot of fun to stay in and around the pool. We were able to park our rental car under a carob tree on the property, so that it was always in the shade. We highly recommend staying at Villa Verde.

Giorgo’s home was so beautiful. They made a traditional greek meal for us on arrival which is so kind. House is designed so well with lots of outdoor space. The house was well equipped, loved the music sound system next to the pool. Great pool. Breathtaking views. Will want to return. Thank you

This house and location is spectacular. There’s even an elevator for the four floors. I woke up every morning to the most amazing view of Agios Nikolaos and lake. Balconies and roof top are lovely. Outstanding location. Host and his brother were always available. Cannot recommend any higher but please don’t book when I want to return 😊

We had a wonderful week! The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Vaggelis were adorable and full of thoughtful touches. They were responsive and always available and attentive, making sure we didn't miss anything. Tina, who welcomed us on the first day was also very attentive and very caring to us! As for the villa, it was perfect in every way! The listing photos match reality! I would even say it was beyond what was stated! The impeccable cleanliness, the services offered, the decoration and design of the house, not to mention this incredible view of the sea and the island of Spinalonga. I recommend these hosts and this villa! Go there without a second thought! you won't be disappointed! Thanks again 😊

Our stay at The Rock Sand Villa was truly spectacular! The villa itself is beautiful. The location is superb- beachfront and at the mouth of a river where it meets the ocean. The attention to detail was unparalleled for an airbnb- it felt like a private hotel! The morning breakfasts were delicious and abundant! Dimitri was the best host/concierge/manager you could ask for! He was always responsive and so kind. He went above and beyond all expectations! Bibi was kind and so helpful with meals and cleaning. I wish we had more time at the Rock Sand Villa!!! Thank you!!

Rebecca‘s house is really exceptional! The location on top of a hill with an almost 360 degree view of the seaside, the bay and the town is nothing but spectacular. The little tower by the sea, the seating area under the trees, the jacuzzi with sea view and the infinity pool, all make for an incredible and cozy atmosphere. Communication with Rebecca was flawless and super friendly. The location is a 5 min drive or 30 min walk from the town center with an abundance of restaurants, cafés and bars. The wider area is home of many beautiful beaches and spectacular ravines for hiking.

We had a perfect stay at Zax villa. It is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. Great sea view and lovely pool area. Perfect for 2 or even 3 families. The hosts were very helpful. A car would be recommended. We plan to come back in August !

We went there with a group of 8 people and had a great stay. The complex is split in some private spots in the front and 2 villas with pools in the back. Our villa was the left and we were split on 2 levels. 4 of us slept on the top level where the main living area is, with kitchen, living room and one bathroom. Also this is the level where you can access, you private pool and outside area. We really enjoyed the well-maintained bbq-grill and small outside kitchen! The other half of us slept downstairs consisting out of 2 bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. The downstairs level is not directly connected to the first level living area, you have to access through the pool/ outside area. The host Anastasia was a great and really nice host! We were even surprised with smaller sweet boxes of ice cream and pastry! She was really helpful and made this a good, enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Lovely villa, great views, nice and quiet, and very good daily housekeeping. There are 2 villas on the site but privacy wasn't an issue. We chose not to drive and to rely on taxis but beware that the very steep hill requires willing taxi drivers to drive to the top, which isn't always the case. Other than that, it's a great modern villa and pool in a great location.

Lovely stay!! We love to go there for peaceful holidays, beautiful place, no noise, amazing beaches, great food!! The house is furnished with everything you can need, to every little details even for our child. Thanks a lot!

The house was wonderful, a lovely design and much larger than we'd expected, and beautifully furnished. All the rooms (of which there were many) were a good size, so for the four of us we had a lot of space. The views were spectacular, from all the terraces, balconies and the upstairs living room, and the swimming pool was a good size, approximately 7m x 4m and 1.6 deep throughout. Comfortable beds, clean white towels and bedding; everything was spotless. The house is at the end of a track and although there are a few other houses around it was very quiet and no passing traffic. Michael was an excellent host, living next door he was available but not obtrusive, responded quickly to our queries, and he gave us some good suggestions where to go. We'd love to return!

Our week at the place was simply fantastic. The listing fully matches the photos. The amenities are great and the view from the upper bedrooms is magnificent. You can also get to the bay below via a small path. Claudia was a great contact person, answers quickly and gave us a great stay in her tips. She has also reserved restaurants for us. The place is a 10/10 and we (7 girls) can fully recommend it.

Great villa in a stunning location with incredible views and set next to an Olive grove. A car is a must really as too far to walk to Plaka. Taxi prices were reasonable if you do want a night out without driving (15 Euros from Elounda). Pool was spotless (and warm) and cleaned/serviced twice during our stay. Caretakers were extremely helpful. We did have a problem with one of the Aircons breaking down at the end of our stay but were given a fan straight away and an appropriate refund when it could not be fixed that day. Obviously stuff does go wrong and the host's response in this case means I am happy to give a 5* rating. Villa very well equipped with everything you could need. Only potential issue could be for those with extensive reduced mobility as there are steep steps to the property (we are late 60's and NOT an issue for us).

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful Villa Cristina! The view is unforgettable, sunrise is especially magical! The Villa has a tranquil setting in the hillside but there is a lovely little seaside village nearby. Liza was very responsive to any requests and helpful with recommendations. We would highly recommend!

Very comfortable apartment with a beautiful view and a short walk to the beach and to the town.

We booked the apartment as the second week of a two week stay in Crete. We do not usually stay in multi apartment complexes but we were booking late and choice was a little limited. We were a little worried that the complex might be busy and noisy but this could not have been further from the truth. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. South Eastern Crete is a little slower and quieter which we liked, but the apartment is still in walking distance to some lovely family tavernas, mini markets and beaches. The apartment was a good size, with everything we needed, and great aircon. All bedding and towels (including pool towels) was provided. The pool was clean, large, cool and lovely. Off street parking was provided. We would recommend this apartment to anyone exploring Eastern Crete - lots to see and do, some great beaches and fab places to eat.

Emmanuela was excellent at communicating and was really kind when I needed to check in early. We met her family and made us very welcome. House was immaculate. Infinity pool was gorgeous. Will definitely be back 💖
