Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sitia

The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

The house was super comfy and perfect for our trip with a baby as well. Marianthi and her husband were super nice and helpful! We had fresh fruits and herbs from the garden and enjoyed that it was only a short walk to the beach. The view from the house is very beautiful - straight over the bay and we appreciated the design and lovely gimmicks all over the house! Could totally recommend this place :)!

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We just liked everything and we felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is much better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded right away. She has arranged a meeting place with us. There, she was already waiting for us🙏. We really want to come back, there is still so much to discover in eastern Crete. Many thanks, dear Despina and best regards to your mom ❤️

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

A very nice house with a charming garden. If you are looking for peace, this is the place to be. Ideal for someone alone, as a couple or even a small family. It has everything you need, you don't want to leave the beautiful garden. The beaches are within walking distance, a few great taverns as well. All around are the mountains, olive groves and very warm people. The hosts are available at any time, making a real effort for their guests. We got great tips for excursions and the area. So, go for it, for those who want to enjoy a nice quiet side of Crete. We enjoyed it very much. Maybe we'll be back. We definitely recommend it to our friends.

The owners of this place were amazing! They were so nice! The apartment is very clean and organized. The view is absolutely stunning from this place! Recommending everyone to stay here! Would stay here again if we ever visited!

very nice clean modern apartment equipped with everything, air conditioning, equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed, only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher. around the house there were several cats and also 4 adorable dogs that live in that area, but don't be afraid they are very sweet and harmless, we fed them throughout our stay and they always made us happy, if you can please do the same, in Crete there is no real concept of pets and even less of stray dogs abandoned to themselves, a small gesture can make a difference, thank you very much.

We felt very comfortable. Great personal hospitality from the parents. Very good communication with Poppy. Fantastic sea views. For your information: Bedroom and bathroom have no window. We also missed an outlet in the bathroom.

Had a great stay at this apartment. It offered everything needed for day to day living and was very clean. The location was outstanding and is a quick walk to everything the city has to offer. While there is no parking spot, we had no issues finding parking nearby. Irini was very kind, helpful, and responded very quickly. She also gave us some local recommendations that turned out amazing. Overall, couldn't think of a better place to stay while in Agios Nikolaos!

Very beautiful, large traditional Greek house. And an extraordinary garden with breathtaking views. With small hammock rest areas, sun loungers. Beautiful outdoor dining area. And a very warm and attentive family welcome.

Well-equipped home and nicely decorated for our holiday stay over Christmas:) We really liked being walking distance to the beach, easy parking, good communication and games for our kids to play at the apartment. We visited during the off season and holidays so not many places were open nearby but it is very walkable to get places in the busier seasons.

The apartment was ideally located, very close to the beach and restaurants, but we were not disturbed by any noise whatsoever. Plenty of space for a couple and a small child. The outdoor terrace has a good view of the sea. Magdalena was the perfect host, arranging transport to and from the airport and quickly responded to any questions we had. We basically had a very good time and will hopefully return in the future.

Perfect combination of quiet area and still walkable to beach all great tavernas and groceries 10-15 min walk . Our favourite Taverna was Kriti. Cutest small authentic town. And gorgeous Listis Beach only 10 min drive. Town is on the water so theres so many small beaches and access points with showers and changing stalls. Beaches are some sand and also rocky, amazing clear water. House is full of character, clean and comfy though rustic. Outdoor sitting area with couch and big table was where we spent the most time and playing with the sweet baby kittens. The garden itself is small though. Great outdoor shower with lots of privacy. There is another airbnb on the top floor and you can sometimes hear them. Only downside was the little biting flies, since there no screens on any windows. Our favourite town in Crete we will definitely be back

Maria, Thank you for a wonderful stay! I didn’t think it was possible but the apartment was even more beautifully than the photos. It was such a treat getting to enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony and look out into the valley. Everything was perfect for our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

Lovely clean villa and we all enjoyed the great pool area. Stelios was a great host and greeted us on arrival with a friendly and helpful attitude, he was always very easily contactable throughout our stay. The villa is set in a quiet area and hiring a car to get around is recommended. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants of the Old Town, which is a lovely family friendly place to go. We had a relaxing stay and would not hesitate to recommend!

Audrey was really helpful sorting out transfers and a shopping for when we arrived. The villa and pool area is decorated to a very high standard. We would thoroughly recommend visiting it is a great holiday location

What wonderful hosts these people are their attention to detail on every aspect of their property is excellent. The place is spotless, everything you need in the villa is there. Manolis and his family are very kind and helpful, do t hesitate just stay here it’s ace!

Villa Vigla is beautiful, exactly as the pictures show. It was cleaned during our stay and fresh towels were left regularly. The pool was cleaned several times while we were there. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. Poppy the host could not do enough to help us and really went above and beyond. She made our stay amazing. The Villa is secure and has an electric gate. We used the kitchen to cook and the BBQ. The washing machine was handy. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend.

Very cozy and spacious place , in a very quiet place , but at the same time everything is available , we would like to come back, the host is very responsive , responds quickly and is always ready to help , special thanks for the hospitality at check-in

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at KaDeView. The house is amazing and looks exactly as pictured (if not nicer). What we really appreciated was that the house had everything that we needed during our two week stay for a family with a baby and two early teenagers. The kitchen had all the basics (spices, olive oil, fruits, cookware) and there were plenty of glasses and dishes. The house has laundry, pool floats, pool nets, vacuum, and outside shower, …anything you’d need. The host was also fantastic and extremely accommodating. We arrived late at night and there was a whole spread of food and wine waiting for us. This was so thoughtful and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. The cleaners did a great job at keeping the house impeccable during our stay. Overall, I have never stayed at an Airbnb that was so well thought out and livable. Highly recommend booking this place. It felt like home and we definitely want to come back.
