Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

After 12 days of stay, we can recommend this atmospheric, Greek, with all the amenities of a home. Two terraces allowed you to enjoy the view of the sea every day. The nearby beach requires a short effort to walk (a rocky descent from the mountain), but it guarantees peace and crystal water. In the nearby towns (5-10 minutes drive) you can find many well-stocked shops and, more importantly, great taverns with excellent food. In a word, we recommend "Katarina" with home. The owner took care of every detail - a nice welcome surprise and very quick contact. In addition, thank you again for letting us check in faster because we arrived at night. Katrina,s home, is the equivalent of traditional Greek hospitality. 🙂👍

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

We had a lovely stay at Mapia's home, everything was what we were expecting with the added bonus of meeting Mapia's parents and other members of extended family. They were all available if we had any problems (we didn't) but not intruding at all. George another family member, introduced himself and we could go to him if we had any questions. Had an absolutely beautiful stay at this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect for a relaxing get away. The property is really well equipped and has everything you could need. Maria was super friendly, responsive and communicated really well throughout our visit. We visited just before the main season and Mochlos was quiet and sleepy, just waking up. You'll need a car if you want to explore the island from here. Cannot recommend this property enough - we just had the most lovely time.

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

It was perfect! A beautiful place that offers exactly what it promises. Near the city of Ierapetra for anything needed but at the same time quiet enough to offer the tranquility one needs to rest.

Quiet private paradise a quick drive from sitia center. Well located, high in the mountain but was easy to drive up. super confortable bed and amazing breakfast for 9€ in the morning. i would stay here again anytime

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

It was the 2nd year in a row when we stayed at Mr. Mikhalis' property, and everything was as good as the first time. Superb view of the sea and mountains, large, clean rooms, well-equipped bathroom, discretion of the hosts provided us with all the elements for an excellent vacation.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Vacation away from tourism in the Cretan mountains. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the pool. In September, however, it is already much cooler on the mountain than on the coast. Since a car is absolutely necessary anyway, we were able to switch to the beaches on windy or cloudy days. Konstantinos gave us great tips on request and we were offered free cleaning 2x. Clear recommendation!

Private and quiet place to relax with a beautiful pool and garden (and lovely cats) in walking distance to Agios Nikolaos restaurants and beaches. Mel & Michael were wonderful hosts and I would come back anytime!

The host was incredibly kind. The house was extremely well-equipped, the outdoor space was enjoyable, and the house had a stunning view. We are deeply grateful for the host's warm hospitality. They generously gifted us with traditional Easter sweets, a delightful olive oil, and exquisite local honey. An unforgettable experience!

Beautiful house with all the facilities, better than the photos. The bedroom on the 1st floor is very large and comfortable with a separate bathroom and a large terrace to enjoy the view and tranquility. Pleasant and relaxing stay, Mrs. Maria had left supplies for breakfast, fruits and wine very kind and welcome. Everything was great.

We had nice quiet days in Kelari Cottage :-) The place has everything we needed and the bed was sooo comfortable! The hike to Pefki through the gorge is worth it, after which you should definitely eat in Pefki at Maria's - delicious! The area is pretty, in March still very deserted and sleepy. We would come back!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, look no further. Pacheia Ammos is a lovely town with beautiful beach & authentic Cretan restaurants. Just by walking around the village, you will feel like your life slows down a bit and the calmness comes to you. And the flat! Very modern, new, fully equipped and the bed and couch are super comfortable. What makes the flat even more special is the irreplaceable host family. They will really take good care of you and teach you what it is like to receive and give love to people around. Overall, my month ling stay in Crete was very warm and beautiful. I am really happy to have stayed in Konstantinos’s flat. Thank you very much.
