Lovely small cottage, clean and tidy with all appliances you need Stairs would be unsuitable for people with mobility issues

Compton House was the perfect place for our early Christmas family get together. We especially appreciated the welcome hamper (v generous) and also all the equipment for small children… we were so well catered for. Chipping Campden itself really delivers on Cotswolds charm and it was lovely to not have to use the car to get there each morning. Thanks to Barry for a brilliant stay!

We had a wonderful stay - the lodge is so cosy, clean and comfortable, and Janet made sure it had everything we needed for the kids (cot, high chair, plastic cups/plates etc.). We were so pleased with the welcome basket with fresh bread and eggs and other lovely things. Graham kindly heated the hot tub for us, which we used every evening - magical! Communication was quick, friendly and very straightforward. Can highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the local area.

Lovely and unique farmhouse in a beautiful location. Jerry was responsive and everything was exactly as described, it’s a really lovely authentic cottage and like others have said, it’s a shame we stayed for only 1 night as there’s a lot to see and enjoy the views. The stairs to the second bedroom are very steep as described in the listing as the bedroom is in the roof of the cottage, it’s a lovely room and our 3.5 yo is robust so he could do it with no trouble however that may not be the case for other 3yo, I didn’t want him climbing up and down in the middle of the night without my supervision and so we ended up staying there and he slept in the downstairs en-suite. We had a lovely time and felt at home.

Fantastic old cottage: lots of character and different places to sit and enjoy the company. The house has everything you may need and the location is great for going on walks. There is a bakery, butcher and restaurant next door (closed on Sundays and Mondays though) and we very much enjoyed the yearly 'Brailes Show' just across the road. The road is quite busy but this didn't bother us too much. Tip: the low beams in the house require a lot of ducking (which we didn't always do well enough ;-)). Great communication by the host.

Our family of 4 enjoyed Ian’s place. It’s a spacious space in a historic and nicely decorated place. I love the furnishing, the clever use of staircase leading to the bathroom on the top floor. We love chilling in the living room with a fireplace. The kitchen is very well stocked and we even managed to cook dinner and breakfast there easily. The house is situated in the heart of Bourton on water and peaceful at night. Initially, we were unsure how to enter the house but Ian was very responsive and pick up our call to guide us. Love the stay here. You won’t regret staying here.

We had a lovely two day stay at Brenda's place with our two boys. The house itself was spotless, with a lovely garden and in an amazing location right next to a play park our 3 year old loved. Brenda was extremely responsive and the bag of baby toys left out was a nice touch!

We had a great stay, wish we had booked for longer. The hosts were helpful and friendly, beautiful area loved their place, can not fault anything, if we are ever down that way would definitely return.

What a gem of a place. The location was central (which was great considering the almost non-stop rain). Having dedicated parking right next to the apartment and that close to town was brilliant. The location was surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. The apartment might be small but the layout is excellent and there was plenty of room for the two of us for the 3 nights we stayed. The kitchen was particularly good as you could have easily cooked a proper meal (not just a heat up meal). And because the table opened out you could properly enjoy an evening in. What really shone out though was Susie. She had seen the weather forecast was for a very cold spell and swapped the duvet for a warmer one before we got there. She also texted to remind us of the extra heater in the wardrobe. Once we’d worked out how the wall heater worked (clear instructions in the folder) we were toasty warm. Susie had left fresh milk in the fridge too. We’re already planning our next visits.

Such a lovely bright apartment! It truly does feel like a home away from home. A great bonus is that Terry and Elaine are wonderful hosts. You could not ask for better. We've stayed twice already and look forward to more visits to this scenic part of England.

Fantastic little Airbnb, gorgeously decorated and cozy to stay in. Adam was very friendly and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

I had a lovely 6 nights stay at Maureen's place. She was quick to reply to messages which helped with the booking process. I appreciated Maureen collecting me from the station and during the quick ride back, she pointed out places she'd recommend, and wouldn't recommend. When we got to her place, she showed me around and it looked even better than the pictures. She'd kindly left a few extras like snacks, milk, oil, and bath salts and emergency feminine products. When I mentioned I like to be warm, she even lent me a dressing gown! The location is excellent - about a ten minutes' walk to the station with the High Street en route. There is a very convenient and good sized Co-Op supermarket right next to the station, and several pubs, restaurants and cafes around, with some art and jewellery shops around too. Maureen has worked hard to make her place feel like a 'home away from home', and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. I would happily stay again. Thank you, Maureen!

We had a great stay, we loved the property and the location. If you aren’t driving the bus to Oxford station stops in front of the property making it easy to get to town without a car. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. We hope to stay again!

Susan's place is absolutely lovely. It's a wonderful example of a stylish English home for family or friends reunions. The outdoor space is safe and a wonderful place for children. The house is truly a home and has that warm and inclusive vibe. We will definitely be back.

Out collection of Cosplayers descended upon the Airbnb for a wonderful shoot, and the BEST time was had. Happy and accommodating and understanding host means we got excellent, EXCELLENT shots, both inside and out (despite the weather issues.) Everyone was happy with our stay. Thank you so much!

Mr. Rocky was very responsive. We had a friendly host who is always keen to give clear instructions. The villa was neat and clean and exactly matches with the photos based on the listing. The villa is located in a peaceful area. I recommend this villa for those who want to enjoy a peaceful environment and homely feeling.
