Monthly Rentals in Shortgate

Great location in a very pretty village - great for walks and really quiet. Lovely village shop, easy to reach South Downs. Hosts were very helpful and the place was perfect for us.

I had a lovely month or so remote working here. While it is a small space, there is a nice private patio looking onto a lovely garden. And I very much enjoyed seeing Spring emerge and listening to the birdsong in the morning. All good! Just a few points for other remote workers who might fancy a stay: the area is quiet for there are no noise problems with online meetings, there are plenty of electric sockets, and the internet was good. In Lewes, there were plenty of cafes where you could work too, if you want a change of scene.

Wow...what a great little hideaway. Dragons nest was exactly as the host described. it was very clean, tidy and uncluttered. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, but the open plan kitchen has everything you would need for your stay. We are already thinking of booking again..... it's truly wonderful
