Maura is an excellent host and ambassador for the region. Nothing was too much trouble, even delivered breakfast to our room that evening, as we had to leave before breakfast was commenced in the dining room. The accommodation was exceptional and spacious..quiet and peaceful. Would be a nice getaway if we had longer!

My family and I had an amazing time. The host, Raquel, was amazing and very responsive. The amenities of the house, the cleaningless were perfect. Our kids loved playing with the toys provided in the house or in the pool. We also managed to go to the beach (3 minutes by bike) to watch the sunset. We will definitely come back in Troia and we recommend anyone to stay there. All the best, Sébastien

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Truly enjoyed every moment in this lovely space. The cozy rooms, comfortable shower, and lovely garden made it a peaceful stay. Greeted by Ilda with her local fruits and bread was a lovely touch. Hope to return one day! Thanks.

Excellent stay at Ana Maria's, everything is done to make your stay go in the best possible way , the setting is beautiful and relaxing and the habitat is very functional . We stayed 2 weeks with the family and it was certainly the most pleasant holidays we spent between the calm and the space that dedicated you without talking about the pool so refreshing. A superb discovery , close to all amenities (less than 5 minutes from the village and about twenty minutes from the beach) and at the same time so far away a real paradox that makes all the charm of this property .

We loved the beauty and peacefulness of this home. The outdoor space with its long table, comfortable chairs, and pool was a great place for our family of 7 to hang out at all times of the day. There was always birdsong. We could walk to a nearby beach on the Atlantic or drive just 10 or 15 minutes to other beautiful nearby beaches and coastal towns. It was an unforgettable vacation. Christina or her son were always attentive to our needs and questions.

The house feels relaxing and offers a beautiful view. We had a great time and would have loved to stay longer. The host is helpful and kind.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is perfect for family vacation: very comfortable, funcional, pretty and well organized. The pool and outside area are very well kept and provided entertainment for the kids throughout the day. Fells like a loving home.

We spent a few days with the family at Maria's place, and we were delighted. Maria has given us all the facilities. Although it has been a very hot few days, the house is very cool, with a beautiful porch. We also loved the decor of the house, made with pleasure without losing the essence or the comforts of the house. A very good experience that we hope to be repeated.

Very kind host, when we had problems with late check-in, the response was immediate and was available for any requests and difficulties. The house is beautiful, clean, secluded and equipped with every need. The green space around is magical.

Staying at Diogo’s near Grândola, Portugal, was incredible. The house is a spacious, classic Alentejo-style home, filled with warm woods, straw accents, and linens, evoking the elegance and comfort of the Sublime Hotel in Comporta. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—luxurious mattresses, mood candles, and flexible lighting created the perfect atmosphere. I haven’t bought the mattress yet, but I’m tempted! Discreet decor added a sophisticated but cozy touch, making it feel both stylish and homely. Practical touches were everywhere, from sun hats to a credenza stocked with beautiful crockery, spices and dry ingredients for a good cook. Despite its proximity to the motorway, the location is serene; you can’t see or hear it, so it never disturbs the tranquility. The garden was beautifully designed. Enjoyed every mornings having This place exceeded every expectation, blending style, comfort, and thoughtful touches for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Alentejo.

We just returned after about ten days with family (3 children), we loved this accommodation, extremely quiet and secluded, and close to the beaches of Porto Covo and its surroundings (8-9 minutes by car), very well equipped, hammock facing the sea, large living room, covered terrace behind the kitchen side kitchen for board games evenings...thank you again!

A lovely comfortable stay with different seating areas around the garden. The front verandah great for morning coffee in the sun and afternoon/evening drink watching the sunset. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you Thais, Paula and Monica.

For the second time we stayed at this property and it is so easy to feel at home. Sossegado, ideal for relaxing, the pool is great and we always visit dogs/cats in the neighborhood who are super affectionate. It does not make you want to go home, but to extend your stay. We will return a third time for sure.
