Cottage vacation rentals in Setubal

My family and I had an amazing time. The host, Raquel, was amazing and very responsive. The amenities of the house, the cleaningless were perfect. Our kids loved playing with the toys provided in the house or in the pool. We also managed to go to the beach (3 minutes by bike) to watch the sunset. We will definitely come back in Troia and we recommend anyone to stay there. All the best, Sébastien

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Excellent stay at Ana Maria's, everything is done to make your stay go in the best possible way , the setting is beautiful and relaxing and the habitat is very functional . We stayed 2 weeks with the family and it was certainly the most pleasant holidays we spent between the calm and the space that dedicated you without talking about the pool so refreshing. A superb discovery , close to all amenities (less than 5 minutes from the village and about twenty minutes from the beach) and at the same time so far away a real paradox that makes all the charm of this property .

Maura is an excellent host and ambassador for the region. Nothing was too much trouble, even delivered breakfast to our room that evening, as we had to leave before breakfast was commenced in the dining room. The accommodation was exceptional and spacious..quiet and peaceful. Would be a nice getaway if we had longer!

We had a super magic time in Eleonore’s and «Miguel’s eco-house in the middle of cork chains and eucalyptus trees. We felt immediatly at home. It is a peacefull and charming place where you listen to the sound of the birds and the wind in the trees, look the stars, feel the nature around. Leonor and Miguel are incredible hosts: very friendly and helpfull, ready to give you the best places to go to eat and go to the beaches. And we have ending our stay with a marvelous diner all together. We strongly recommand their place for a restfull, lovely and magic holiday !

Lovely villa, perfect for our family. Car hire is important for getting around. Milfontes and Porto Covo are worth a visit!

If you're looking for a relaxing break away from the city in a beautiful, peaceful house in the Alentejo, you've come to the right place. The house is very beautiful and offers real privacy. We were also able to work thanks to the efficient internet. Daniel is a very responsive host and communication was great. Plus the huge fenced garden is great when you have a dog :) thanks Daniel!

We had a great stay and would recommend. The house had everything we needed including heating as it was pretty chilly in December! The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was really comfortable and everything was really clean. We really loved staying within the farm and witnessed a goat give birth to two kids which was wonderful. The house is one of a few houses within the farm grounds but our pool was private and we weren’t really aware of any other guests. Quick drive to supermarkets and the beaches of Comporta and Melides were about half an hour away.

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage. Everything was available, we were warmly welcomed (with a bottle of wine, cheese and bread) and everything was perfectly fine. More than enough towels and beach towels, everything sparkling clean and all amenities. And a beautiful view!

We went two families. The space is perfect to rest and enjoy in good company. Fernando and Judith are lovely and welcomed us very well. We will repeat the experience.

Staying at Diogo’s near Grândola, Portugal, was incredible. The house is a spacious, classic Alentejo-style home, filled with warm woods, straw accents, and linens, evoking the elegance and comfort of the Sublime Hotel in Comporta. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—luxurious mattresses, mood candles, and flexible lighting created the perfect atmosphere. I haven’t bought the mattress yet, but I’m tempted! Discreet decor added a sophisticated but cozy touch, making it feel both stylish and homely. Practical touches were everywhere, from sun hats to a credenza stocked with beautiful crockery, spices and dry ingredients for a good cook. Despite its proximity to the motorway, the location is serene; you can’t see or hear it, so it never disturbs the tranquility. The garden was beautifully designed. Enjoyed every mornings having This place exceeded every expectation, blending style, comfort, and thoughtful touches for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Alentejo.

Gorgeous setting in the hills near Palmela. The house was very clean, spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The pool was well maintained and provided much needed refreshment. Last but not least, the hosts are lovely and very hospitable people who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

For the second time we stayed at this property and it is so easy to feel at home. Sossegado, ideal for relaxing, the pool is great and we always visit dogs/cats in the neighborhood who are super affectionate. It does not make you want to go home, but to extend your stay. We will return a third time for sure.

We had a very quiet private and relaxed time in this apartment. If you want to enjoy a few days of absolute peace, this will be preserved in this apartment. Except occasionally a few dog barking , but otherwise very, very calm.

Leonor and Paolo are excellent hosts who went out of their way to make our trip special! Stunning historical property put together with so much care! Leonor and Paolo gave us lots of local recommendations which were amazing and all worth going to. We would highly recommend this place - we felt we were so well taken care of. Fridge had a bottle of wine and pantry stocked up! The property has a beautiful private garden where it was great to unwind at the end of day. This is an excellent spot to explore the region for beautiful beaches and hike. We would love to come back again — definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had!
