We as a small family felt very welcome. The place is beautiful! You can tell how much love is there. We enjoyed every minute. The conversations with the hosts were super nice, our daughter was greeted so warmly every day.. we miss our morning coffee on the observation deck! If we vacation in this corner again, we know where to go. Thanks for having us!

A comfortable, clean and well equipped little villa in beautiful surroundings. Extremely peaceful and relaxing and only a short drive to a lovely old town with shops, restaurants and history. Ideally located to explore the area - 30 mins drive to the coast and an hour from the airport. Would highly recommend a stay here if you like to get away from the tourist traps and enjoy being surrounded by nature.

Great experience, I highly recommend it. The house is very cozy and beautiful, it is located in a very quiet and quiet town. It was all according to the ad, spacious kitchen, room with heating (very pleasant), the house is well equipped. In relation to the hostess, Ana was always available for any questions and clarification, with a very fast response time. It was a very good experience, if I have the opportunity I will be back. Very good !

Susannah’s place is at the edge of a little village, and if feels like a different world: peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful view over the ocean. The cottage looks ordinary from the outside, but inside is wow: new and very tastefully decorated - beautiful. We drove to all the places we wanted to see on Terceira, and enjoyed a local hike too. It was really handy to have a washer and dryer in the middle of our holiday. We loved staying here!

It was +30-32C outside but in house it was chill during day and at night, very pleasant to sleep. Pool house is perfect for hot days like this. We spent majority of time there. You have to walk on common street ~30 steps until pool house but 99% of the time we met no one outside, so it didn’t bother us. Bed is comfy. I especially loved how it’s possible to achieve pitch black effect in bedroom with all windows and shades closed — even when there’s lot of light outside. That helped my sleep. Pool house has everything for cooking, all our meals we made ourselves there. It’s very private, impossible for anyone to see you inside pool. Hosts were respectful, they needed to clean pool twice, always asked in advance when they can come. I had special request about my allergies and cleaning detergents and they accommodated me. I hope to return here!! And I recommend this to folks who appreciate calm chill time by the pool, cooking own meals. Huge thanks to hosts!

The area offers opportunities for beautiful walks. Supermarkets can be found in nearby Monchique. We enjoyed and at Lavender Cottage. Recommend!

Louise meets and exceeds the high expectations that her amazing ratings and reviews set for you. She's a very warm and experienced host who knows how to put you at ease and answer all your questions before you have the need to ask them. Her intro and tour to help you situate yourself in the location is very helpful. The recommendations she gives for the hamburger shop (great vegetarian burger) and BBC (great option for swimming and sunbathing sans beach) are spot on. The cottage is cozy, has ample outdoor seating and pristine linens/cleaning. The laundry machine (accessed through the parking area) is very convenient and saved my butt at the end of the stay. Just remember to bring your own hand soap for the bathroom! I kept windows open for circulation in the day and closed at night for mosquitoes. It is about a 20 min walk downhill to the centre and uphill on the way back. 1.95 euro bus one way if you dont get a bus card and 4.50 by bolt. 100% would come back & recommend!!

A charming and eclectic place with a magical vibe. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which has the kitchen/living in a separate entrance but this actually made us spend more time in this room which became our favourite. Beautiful antique furniture! The garden is absolutely stunning and you’ll have a beautiful time even if you don’t go anywhere else. The owners are lovely and kind people, always responsive and helpful with recommendations.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.
