Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Scotland

Fantastic stay at this beautiful house. The hosts have thought of everything and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The sky at night was amazingly clear and the stars were incredible.

Lovely place to stay. Bigger than the photos and lots to do in the local area. Chippy was great as was the Mhor bakery. Clean and excellent communication. Parking on the street at times was tricky but we were aware of this before we booked. Would stay again.

My friends and I had a beautiful stay. It was the perfect countryside getaway. The house was very warm and cosy, would absolutely recommend!

Had a wonderful holiday in Julie's fabulous Georgian house. So comfortable, with everything we could wish for. Great time exploring the machars and some family history discoveries. Highly recommend.

Anthony’s house felt like being at home. It was peaceful with beautiful trees and greenery to the front and back. On arrival there were pick and mix bags of sweets for my children (which they loved) and a welcome message with milk in the fridge and dressing gowns for the adults. The heating had been put on as well which was a kind touch. It was warm and the open fire was fantastic with logs and everything needed. The water was hot for great showers and baths. There were so many interesting pieces in Anthony’s house which made for interesting chats with my children and an interesting place to stay. Close to Durham for an afternoon visit as well as bigger places such as Gateshead/ Newcastle. Attention to detail and response to any questions was excellent. Thank you.

I can't praise this accomodation highly enough. From very first booking until arriving ( very early morning after being delayed by storms) Zahib always answered straight away. The property was immaculate -we were in awe from minute we arrived - we were there as a group of 9 celebrating a friends 60th. 2 bedrooms aren't actually en suite but both had a toilet right beside it - this was important ti us to have privacy. We hadn't been able to get coals for BBQ and owner went and got some for us. These are things that are really appreciated. We were also refunded part for missed night - it was our decision not to travel so this was not expected but very much appreciated. The games room was perfect when the boys had had enough of girls chatter! But it's great size and we could all easily have fitted in -just never got around to it. The sauna and hot tub and BBQ area is amazing - we all want to book again for summer to enjoy beautiful grounds! Such a perfect weekend!

We all loved Ron and Tricia’s house. Very comfortable and cosy, lovely warm welcome, and very easy and helpful communication. The sauna was a real treat, as was the wood burner in the living room. Fantastic location for walks, bird watching and enjoying the Cairngorms. Thoroughly recommended!

We (parents, grandparents and 3 year old) felt right at home. Lots of little details for younger children like crockery, cutlery, toys, potty seat etc. the hot tub was a luxury touch which we enjoyed immensely. We had a small issue during our stay with the hot water but Katie was responsive and able to fix it by instructions over the phone. Katie gave us lots of local recommendations for eating out and leisure prior to our stay. Thank you for a lovely time!

What a fantastic find! We loved our trip and would have spent more time there. The surrounding and their views were impressive. Tracey and Jerome welcomed us with open arms. A trip of a lifetime.

Sam’s place and support were perfect. Each of the rooms were inviting and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and showers very good. The whole setting was charming and the location central to the town.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderful quiet cottage nestled in the quiet glen near Balquidder but only minutes from the main A84 road. The place was spacious, cozy and comfortable and the host was amazing

Iris and Roy’s place was lovely. Beautiful scenery and garden. Peaceful and quiet. The place itself was immaculate and comfortable. We loved the little details such as the lights on the stairs which came on when you walked up them. Iris and Roy were very accommodating and friendly and would love to re visit in the future. Amazing wee cabin. Very quiet and a great place to switch off. Cabin was very cosy and the wood burner kept us warm all night. Loved using the outdoor kitchen.

We had such a fantastic night away, we're gutted we only had the one! the cabin was so cosy and the fire lit for our arrival. everything has been thought of for the perfect escape.

A fascinating place to stay wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived after a long flight at 1am, Michael put out decaffeinated tea and coffee for us as he knew our arrival time which was really thoughtful and hugely appreciated.

Cornelius and Mette were really nice. they helped us with charging our car. They were super nice and recommended a ton of things to do with our Dog. Cosy vibes, we will surely plan come come back.

Alex and Nicola, You have allowed us to make the most special memories whilst staying here. We love Scotland, we love Skye and you have inspired us to seek out challenges and create unforgettable moments that will be held close to our hearts forever. Even with the changing of weather, this little cabin at the bottom of the hill has been home and launch pad for our adventures over the last few days We cannot thank you enough. Wonderful little getaway for Christmas. Very flexible with the dogs as it can be difficult to find somewhere to accommodate us. The cabin was beautiful, warm and comfortable with gorgeous views. Host was very welcoming and responsive to any queries - would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
