Manuel and his parent’s are wonderful hosts! Manuel is very responsive, helpful and considerate. The apartment is small, clean and comfortable. It had the amenities that I was looking for and a lovely little courtyard. It was perfect for me as it was in close proximity to a friend’s place that I was visiting, near a number of stores, a bakery and a market where I was able to purchase groceries for my stay. The neighborhood is just outside of the bustle of Centro which was appealing for me. I didn’t mind walking down and back and often took the bus, which is very close, to get around. It’s a gem and I would choose to stay here again the next time I visit- if it’s available! Thank you, Manuel. 🙂

It is our second home, I appreciate the attention of Jorge and Rigoberto. It is the best place in Oaxaca if you want to feel at home, rest, enjoy and connect with nature. It's a paradise.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in the Colonia Reforma. From the moment I arrived, Jose Alberto was incredibly attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and offering helpful suggestions for restaurants and shops in the area. Jose Alberto lives in the house next to the Airbnb with his parents. They are also lovely and welcoming. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is close to lots of resturants and shops. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed meeting Arturo and staying at his place. We highly recommend it. It is just a short 30 minute bus ride to the Centro. The local Mercado is less than a block away with many local restaurants and a good coffee shop. It private, quiet, and beautifully designed with a modern decor, a gorgeous tree ring dining table, high ceilings and plants. The kitchen is well equipped with nice pots and pans, sharp new knives, all you may need for a month long stay. The king size bed is very comfortable with a very large tub and lots of hot water, plus a washer and dryer. A cleaning person comes once a week to change your linens and clean inside and out. The special treat was an outside staircase around the tree in the private courtyard up to the partially shaded roof terrace, overlooking Santa Rosa and surrounding towns. Arturo was very accommodating and made many suggestions for places to visit and eat. We visited him several times at his Clover Coffee Shop in Oaxaca City.
