Monthly Rentals in Santa Monica Beach

I stayed at Rita’s lovely guest home for 6 weeks when I first moved to LA. It was the perfect spot to land — cozy, homey, and beautiful. Her garden is spectacular and was a peaceful spot to unwind at the end of the day. Rita was so kind and made me feel right at home. The street parking was easy — there was usually a spot right on the street in front of the house and the few times there wasn’t there was one within a block or two. The location is absolutely fantastic! Walkable to the canals, the beach, and shops. I absolutely recommend staying with Rita, whether it be a quick trip or a longer stay!

My boyfriend and I extended our stay for several months beyond our original booking. They were patient and kind while we made decisions and were happy to help us. It was comfortable and cozy for 2 two people, even for him working from home. Upon check-in, we noticed how spotless it was, which we appreciated. You can tell they care about their units. It is well-decorated, spacious, and in good condition! It's supplied with everything one could need, while away from home. You name it - cleaning supplies, shampoo, extra sheets, garbage bags, salt & pepper, etc... This is a great place to stay while you're traveling to the Westside of LA and want easy access everywhere. It's located near major freeways and arteries, and a close drive to the ocean as well. Thanks, Jay and Rachael!

We had a wonderful time here. The apartment is dreamy quiet at night and the mattress is great. The neighborhood has everything and you can walk to the Pier and the beach. We loved breakfast at Wexler’s and the Bay City Italian Deli just a block away has fabulous ready to bake meals, salads, baguette, wine, spumoni, so consider heating up a lasagna and having a lovely rooftop meal at the apartment! A travel tip — the 134 bus (pick it up on Broadway by the 3rd Avenue promenade) goes right along the Pacific Ocean to the Getty Villa and is the world’s most beautiful bus stop. At the Getty Villa consider taking one of the tours, they are excellent. Thank you so much for this lovely stay. The apartment was perfectly located for us, it had everything we needed, and just the home base we were hoping for in Santa Monica.

My first true Airbnb! First thing that made us happy was the beautiful landscaping surrounding the property; unbelievable foliage. The duplex itself was also very nice and stylish. After a very long day the first thing I did was take a hot shower. Bathroom was nice and everything worked. My wife and I both slept well and commented on how comfortable the bed was. All the other areas of the unit were clean and there’s an obvious attention to detail. Lots to do within walking distance. The beach, Santa Monica pier, 3rd Street Promenade, and lots of restaurants. It was always nice coming back to this hidden gem; like we had our own little Shangri-La that was tranquil and also felt like home. Parking is easy and convenient which I certainly appreciated; especially in Los Angeles! Thank you Cara and Lori! We will definitely be back.
