Monthly Rentals in Santa Monica Bay

Staying at Rita’s charming cottage was an absolute dream! The location on the Venice Canals is breathtaking—peaceful yet just a short walk to the vibrant energy of Venice Beach and Abbot Kinney. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Rita was a wonderful host—attentive, communicative, and full of great local recommendations. Waking up to the serene canal views and enjoying coffee on the patio was a highlight of my trip. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Jay is a great host. He provided a clean, well equipped space that was exactly as described. He gave me a ton of local recommendations and was very responsive to all communications. He would check in regularly to see how things were going, and if I had an issue he made sure to resolve it the same day.

This was truly one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. I spent a month here alone and enjoyed every second! Laura was extremely helpful and responsive whenever I needed anything, the house was cozy & safe, and the location is unbeatable. Pros: -cute decor/vibe with everything you need (espresso machine, tea kettle, laundry, beach towels, etc.) -upstairs neighbor was quiet -amazing location -great shower -felt safe as a solo female traveler (locked gates to both entryways) -lots of cute restaurants nearby Cons: -parking can be very difficult, was only able to park on the same street one time. Otherwise I had to park at least a block away. Not really in their control but it is worth noting. Wish I could've stayed longer!!

We so enjoyed our stay at Jill’s condo. The furniture and decor is very Californian - all whites, blues, and beiges. It’s just lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped if you like to cook, which I did. The master bedroom has a VERY comfortable king bed and had a huge closet. The condo has great views of the ocean with a nice balcony. You can walk to shopping, Redondo Pier, Veteran’s Park, the Strand, and more. We loved it so much we’re already booked for next year.
