Vacation rentals with an accessible height bed in Santa Croce, Florence

Great location with quick access to the tourist areas but settled in amongst some great restaurants and gelato shops.

Absolutely lovely location!!!! Could not be any closer to the best restaurants and shopping! Very clean and safe and Dan was very responsive! I will return and stay here again!

Marco place is a really great and beautiful. The house is well maintained and match with the description, he really took care everything well! And not to mention his warm and friendly personality! He gave us map, recommendations of restaurants, bakery and bar around. Love the house, and his attention to detail in the house💙 Very recommended! The place also have beautiful surroundings and near the supermarket, within 20mins you can also reach the central by walk! Thank you again Marco, its our best stay!

My first time in Florence and would definitely stay at Matteo's place again. It's a 5 to 15 minute walk to pretty much everywhere. His place was very comfortable and clean. He was super responsive to any questions but initially gave me all the information I needed. Great restaurants and sandwich shops nearby including a 1 star michelin restaurant (2024) across the street!

I stayed in Vincenzo’s flat for a week and had a great stay. Vincenzo helped me with my (heavy) luggage on arrival and was flexible with the arrival time. The flat is cosy and comfortable, very well equipped if you wish to cook at home. The area is very lively, my favourite area in Florence with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, antique shops etc and it’s within easy walking distance from all the museums and the historic centre. I can only recommend it! Thank you Vincenzo!

Everything was as described on the listing and it was a comfortable stay for my family. We felt safe in the area and being close to the train station was a plus as well. Thank you Marco & Paola for a great stay!

Lapo’s apartment is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The terrace and the view are fantastic. The bed is firm which is perfect for us or anyone with back problems. We like to walk and we didn’t have a car and really enjoyed walking down to the town square and cafes and restaurants in 15 minutes - going back up the hill about 20 minutes. If you are not fit you may need a car but also taxis and Uber are available. We recommend walking and hiking around Fiesole with beautiful views to see everywhere.

Staying at this Airbnb was the highlight of my trip to Florence! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home base. The apartment is gorgeous, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, and the massive bedroom was the crown jewel. It felt like my own private retreat, with high ceilings, beautiful decor, and an incredibly comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the mornings! The rest of the apartment was just as wonderful—clean, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for relaxing after a day of exploring Florence. While the dryer wasn’t working during my stay, Elisabetta, the wonderful host, went above and beyond to make sure it wasn’t an issue. She provided coins for a local laundry service, but I didn’t need them as the drying rack in the apartment worked perfectly for me. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from Florence’s iconic sites like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery, but tucked away in a quieter, authentic neighborhood with plenty of cafes and shops nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paola Giovanna’s lovely home. Paola and her whole family were welcoming, warm and helpful. We really enjoyed an Italian cooking class with Paola’s grandson, Thomas! We also enjoyed wine tasting at Paola’s neighbour, Buondonno. This residence truly provided an exceptional Tuscan experience!!

We loved our time at this rustic Tuscan property tucked up under the Castello di Poppiano. It is a large private space with tremendous views. The weather was not optimal for us so we didnt get a chance to stroll through the landscape but were delighted when the cats made an appearance for us. Sara met us to introduce us to the property and did a great job getting us acclimated. We were very comfortable here and the location allowed us to maximize our time in Tuscany and get to the experiences we were looking to have over a 4 day span. The only criticism is that the interior lighting is not very bright and often times was darker than we would would have preferred but that was only a minor concern.

We spent some nice autumn days at Francesca's place. It's much nicer than it's pictured. The house is fantastically and quietly located on a hill. The amenities are high quality and Francesca was always available at short notice. We would definitely go on vacation there again.

Lucia the host was absolutely stunning! Cozy family place and beautiful views. Lucia had bought us breakfast and good drinks so we felt very welcome. Lucia responded quickly and always provided tips on what we could do. When we went home, we got homemade nice cans of capers. The place was beautiful and Lucia is a top host. The only thing that was a bit difficult was that there was no air conditioning and when we arrived it was in July and 38 degrees. Me. I recommend this nice gem in the middle of beautiful Tuscany.

Amazing place, modernised but yet keeping a traditional aesthetic. Perfect location if you want to visit more of Tuscany towns, equal distance to Florence or La Spezia (Cinque Terre). Clean, spacious, with lots of storage spaces, with a private garden where you can sip a morning coffee. Chiara is an amazing host, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

I can only say that Patrizia's apartment was perfect. While it is not in the center of Florence, it was well worth being accommodated in your space. Very close to the train station, there is a downtown stop. Super peaceful access to the station and the apartment. The supermarket is close by, 02 restaurants just below the building, laundry and coffee just across the street, and still if you are by car you will have no difficulty finding vacancies that for me was perfect. The apartment is tasteful, soft bath towels, a great bed and had everything needed for a few days with my daughter. Super recommend this space. If you have come this far, make sure you have found your place to rest and enjoy Florence and its surroundings. Patrizia, always very attentive and kind. I'll be back soon without thinking 02 times. See you soon!!!

Great location! Only about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Very clean and the photos match the description. We felt right at home at Tommaso&Elenora’s place. We absolutely loved the check in process! Very easy and Tommaso was waiting for us and buzzed us right in as we arrived. He showed us the place and went over everything in a ton of detail. Coming to Florence the first time, Tommaso gave us a lot of great restaurant recommendations and sights to see. That was super helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back again. Florence was so pretty at night with all of the Christmas lights! Very peaceful to walk at night and look at the lights and Christmas decorations.

Amazing place right near the heart of the city! Easy to navigate as it is very close to the tram. The entire unit was spacious, clean, and organized. Felt right at home!

For my first time in Florence, I couldn’t have picked a better location or place. It’s truly in the best location - everything is walkable, easy to navigate, and lots to do! The pictures were exactly as the place is and coming back here everyday was a very good way to relax and wind down from all the busy streets and people. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is a good amount of space! Federico gave incredible recommendations and was an incredible host to ensure welcome into Florence. He went above and beyond that I could have ever asked! I am very grateful to have spent 9 days staying here for I felt very safe staying by myself and I look forward to being back!!

Our stay at Villa Le Pergole was amazing. The Villa was the true essence of Tuscany. Though the beauty and history was amazing, the best part was Anna. She is such a kind host going above and beyond to make our experience magical. She helped us navigate the city, provided a cosy, relaxing space, and made us feel completely at home. It is possible to get to Florence by walking to the bus and/or tram. We highly recommend Anna's home!

Ariannas apartment in wonderful Fiesole directly above Teatro Romano is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Arianna welcomed us in person, which was lovely. We had a perfect stay. The only thing is that the apartment doesn't have much natural light but we just switched on all the lamps Arianna has and left the window and door to the street open. We would come back anytime and completely recommend Fiesole over Firenze. Arrivederci Arianna.
