The apartment is located in a strategic position, Via Maggio n.1: in the heart of the city, between Borgo San Frediano (considered by Lonely Planet one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world) and the extraordinary monuments and masterpieces of Florence such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Museum, Il Duomo and the elegant Via Tornabuoni with its super-chic shops. The possibility of self-check in will soon be available, especially for those who have to arrive after 7 pm. the entire apartment. We will be at your disposal to give you all informations to spend an authentic vacation in Florence! The apartment is located in the heart of Florence’s historic center, a stone's throw from the famous Ponte Vecchio and its famed jewelry shops. Take a stroll to the Santo Spirito district to discover its lively cafes and vibrant Tuscan restaurants. From the train station Santa Maria Novella you can take the taxi (just 5 minutes) or the bus number 6 and get off in Lungarno Guicciardini ( the bus stop is called "Pescaia di santa Rosa") and from there 2 minutes by walk. If you have the car you can park at the Garage Lungarno in Borgo San Iacopo 10 (+39.055.282542 - two minutes by walk from our apartment) If you book it you will avoid the fine as it is in ZTL area. From the Airport of Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" you can take the taxi (around 20 minutes) or take the special bus to reach the central train station; check the website for timetable: www.areoporto.firenze.it on item Transports. The apartment is located in ancient building at the first floor (20 confort steps to make) no elevator. The apartement can accomodate up to 3 adults (King size bed 1,80 m x 2 m, 1 confort sofa bed 1,20 m x 1,90 ) both with lattex hypoallergenic mattresses). It will be possible also to 2 adults with 2 teenagers. Our staff will attend the check-in from 04.00 until 07.00 but if you need a different time please feel to ask and we can find a suitable solution for you . Self check-in will be also available asap. The air conditioning will be at your disposal from middle of April (work in progress)

Modernist Chic Home with Free Garage

Indulge in the Italian elegance of this meticulously appointed flat. The apartment features an all-white interior, contrasting pops of color and soothing grays, an open-plan layout, and a walkout to an outdoor breakfast spot. Major decisive point is the central location with private garage OUTSIDE the ZTL (limited traffic zone). Located on the ground floor (4 steps) the apartment is the result of a careful and recent renovation, still retaining the old features of the city. Upon entering you will find yourself in the bright living area furnished with an elegant and large sofa bed for 2 people, a spectacular table designed by Saarinen, 4 modern and comfortable chairs. The open floor plan is complemented by a fitted and equipped kitchen area. The romantic bedroom boasts a big window and a large closet with mirrored doors. It's complemented by a stylish bathroom with shower. Guests have access to the whole apartment During the stay I will always be available and in touch with guests by email or phone. The house is right in the city center, in the iconic neighborhood of San Lorenzo famous for the Central Market where visitors can buy excellent Italian products, and the Church of San Lorenzo. There are also many great restaurants nearby. The accommodation is centrally located, just a 5 min. walk from Santa Maria Novella main railway station, to Palazzo dei Congressi (the Conference Centre) and to the Fortezza da Basso, the departure site of the bus to the airport of Peretola and bus connection to outlets THE MALL, BARBERINO, IKEA and I Gigli shopping center. The most interesting monuments and museums in Florence are within easy walking distance. The apartment is located in a new residence with a garden in common. There may be the possibility (to be confirmed) of a paying parking lot in the private garage of the residence below the apartment. Otherwise there is a private garage nearby the apartment, only 2 minutes on foot. If the booking is for 2 people but the guests wish to sleep separately (one in the bedroom and one in the sofa bed) there is a cost of only 5 euro more for the entire stay. By resolution of the City Council No. 33 of 20/06/2011, the City of Florence requires a tax of EUR 1.50 per person per night stay, for a maximum of 7 days. The city tax must be paid in cash on arrival.
