Vacation rentals with beach access in San José Province

Great place for us, 2 minutes from Manuel Antonio park entrance. Quiet location but near beach and bars and restaurants. Monkeys in the roof in the night and parakeets in the trees!

I really enjoyed my stay at Alexander’s lovely place. It’s a beautiful and cozy little casa remote from the main road but not too far as long as you have a car. The case itself was very well equipped and very clean. Alexander’s was very welcoming and attentive. Would love to come back

Nice view right on the beach

We had a fabulous stay at Nia and Ivan’s condo! They are most definitely Super Hosts!!! This 4th floor condo has breathtaking views of the ocean. The condo is located on the best beach in the area!!! It is a peaceful spot where you can enjoy long walks on a silky soft sand beach. You can walk to a few restaurants on the beach within a couple of km from the condo or to the Esterillos Town Center across the road from the complex if you don’t want to drive anywhere. Yoga is offered daily at 9am at Encantada (cottage resort on the beach) about a 20 min. walk from the condo. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Nia and Ivan are very responsive and are extremely helpful with any recommendations!

A nice apartment with a beautiful view of the harbour and bird zooming about. Beware the steep road to get there - not really feasible by foot from Quepos bc of the distance and maybe rough if you are not used to Costa Rican roads - but if you are, no problem at all!

A nice place with a really beautiful pool, good WiFi and a/c, a nice deck with some views, kitchen that has most of what you need, bird songs in the morning. Late sleepers bring an eye mask as the curtains do not darken. Uvita is about as poorly of a planned community (there is no planning) as I have seen so good luck figuring out where to stay in this town. This place is wonderful…just know to get to the big grocery and bus station and what Uvitarians are building out as there own version of Santa Teresa’s awful strip mall you must walk on the highway with no shoulder and lots of traffic. Good thing the walk to the beach isn’t too bad for those that enjoy a good walk. Bring an umbrella with you..for the rain but also for the intense sun. Welcome to Uvita.

The access in any car is super easy, the place is magical, beautiful, amazing, the apartments are beautiful, of perfect size with viewpoint towards the sea or the forest, my husband and I loved every space in this place. The couple of gentlemen who serve you are absolutely adorable, like family. I just want to, I wholeheartedly want to come back soon. God always protect them from me and I deeply appreciate that through this platform you can enjoy such beautiful secret places like this, because I doubt there is another equal to the price with what they offer you

Wow! what a beautiful, well-appointed home to escape the norm. This house and neighborhood were just what the doctor ordered. We stayed for a week, cooked delicious meals, walked the beach and watched the surfers, made visits to surrounding national parks. The neighborhood is safe, friendly and just steps from the beach. The beach was the highlight, practically private and best place to watch the sunset. We worked from here for the week and it was perfect, reliable internet and comfortable desk etc. For those who want to be social the beach club is great with a big pool and swim up bar, massages on the beach were great.

This is such a beautiful location, only steps from the beach out the front door (or to the small pool in the back). It truly felt like a private beach, as we saw almost no one else on the beach except for our friendly neighbors in the other two houses. Jefferson (the on-site host) was so kind and responsive, making it feel more like a mini-resort, as we were able to order meals or drinks when desired. The nearest town is about a 15 minute drive away, though there are a couple closer restaurants within a 10 minute drive. But once you arrive, you really won't want to leave, as it truly feels like paradise!

Wish we could have stayed longer. We traveled to 4 different locations in Costa Rica on this trip and this takes the cake for best location and amenities. The location of the house is perfect. Beach is steps away and walkable to town at low tide. We enjoyed beach combing and watching all the hermit crabs on the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. The caretakers were friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and perfect for our family with kids. Already planning our next trip to comeback. Highly recommend this listing.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Biesanz! The views from the upper terrace are unbeatable, and the meticulously manicured yard is packed with wildlife, obviating the need to visit the overcrowded national park. Sarah is a super helpful and responsive host. We will definitely be back.

This is a very special house. The decor just made us happy...a unique blend of modern concrete floors and counter tops and handmade rustic furniture, gorgeous art work and even a little deco thrown in. The location is brilliant, you can see the water in the distance and there are meters and meters of lush green pasture between you and the road. There is a fabulous small pool which is perfect for cooling down in (very) warm uvita. Excellent air in all the bedrooms. The main room is not AC-d, but this was fine with us. Everything cools down a lot at night. There is a small nice sandy beach in the front (not great for swimming as there are rocks farther out) and Natalia will tell you about a secret beach that is about a 15 minute walk away that is spectacular. No one was there while we were there and the beach is huge and perfect for body surfing. Wonderful pizza at Pizza Time and great meals at Aricari and Gusto (but Gusto is tricky to get to without 2x4). Loved every minute!

Please read the Full Review!Let me start by saying the house is beautiful , Modern and more than you expect. The Beach is beautiful and you can walk 3km (2 miles)in either direction easily. YoYo’s restaurant is a hidden treasure and YoYo herself is always willing to help out with any request. What differentiates this location is Lara. Every AirBNb always has an issue, especially if you are there for a month. When anything happens she responded like she was waiting for a message and corrected it as quickly as possible. That is invaluable to someone who had 7 In-laws vacationing with you. Her response was positive and above expectations. I would highly recommend this house. Your Vacation is important to you and Lara.

Quiet location with great security and private beach. My dog loved the backyard!

A welcoming place, the very kind and attentive host, we were enjoying the private pool as a family, a stay to disconnect, also very close to the whale marine park, and sercano to Uvita beaches and waterfalls, we hope to return

I absolutely love Manuel Antonio and this location was beautiful. The host is very helpful and very kind. I will be back! I loved the view from my room.

Leonardo’s place is a ground floor corner suite right near the beach. Watching the sunsets from the suite’s patio was stunning. The suite is well equipped and a 1 minute wall to the beach. The complex is well secure and very safe. We loved it here and highly recommend it. David and Arlene Alexander

Everything was great! Nice place!

We were a family of 5, and never felt crowded. There was plenty of storage space for our belongings. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an air fryer which was helpful for kids! Between the beach and the pool, the complex is great for families! We will be coming back again!

The Bejuco condo was perfect for our stay! The bunk beds in the second room was perfect for my kids. The space was clean and very comfortable. We were right on the beach. We saw a sloth in a tree right outside our window and beautiful macaws. The condo met all our needs!

We had a wonderful stay at Carrie's place in Bejuco. Her and her husband were incredibly communicative leading up to and during our stay. We appreciated the scenic views from the condo and watching macaws fly by in the morning as we drank coffee from the balcony. Away from the more touristy parts of the coast, we enjoyed coming back to the serenity of the condo after a day of exploring the surrounding areas. Would recommend for anyone seeking solace or a home base from Manuel Antonio.

This place was beautiful. It is in a gated small community. It is up on the second floor and also has a roof top perfect for eating meals . Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. There is a washer and dryer as well. The place has a blow dryer so I didn’t have to bring my own. The beds were very comfortable. There is also beach equipment!!! He had big beach towels, chairs and beach umbrellas which made it even more enjoyable. Communication was great! Our flight was delayed 10 hours so we did not get there till 1 am and we were let in. He sends you a QR code that the security guards scan and then they walk you to the unit. Very close to the beach, restaurants with in walking distance with a corner store up the street. There is also a supermarket. The pool was amazing and the grounds are beautiful and full of flowers. This is the third time we have been in this gated community but the first time at his place . We 100% recommended this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
