Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San José Island

This was my second time to stay at Hope’s place. Each year my adult children, their spouses and I love to do a beach weekend. It has been the perfect place. The house is perfect and the beach there is wonderful and just across the boardwalk. We will return. Thank you, Hope for being the best Hostess ever.

We rented this for family members who were in town. It was absolutely perfect. They loved it and it had everything they needed for their stay. I will definitely use this house next time I have guests in town. Thank you so much.

Stayed here for my 30th Birthday Trip and it did not disappoint! The space was just as pictured. The beach chairs supplied were great and we loved the board games! Location: The house is off of a back road that connects into town. It was a quiet neighborhood during our stay. Keep in minds: The main bedroom’s bathroom is very small but with the larger bathroom, it worked for our party of four. Toilet paper and trash bags were not supplied so be sure to bring those. Overall we loved our stay and made the best memories there! Linda was responsive and very helpful throughout our time in Port A.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving Week stay at the property. Lighted pier was a real attraction. Three bedrooms, and a day bed in the living room. Lots of stuff one can use to entertain yourself or use to go fishing. Recommend this property if you want a quiet, safe place to get away.

Took some time to get check in email with the door code so I had to wait almost 40 mins for them to contact me with the door code but the house was nice and comfortable. Pool was nice and fresh but there were lots of black ants around the pool. But my family and I had a great time and it was relaxing.

The house was fantastic, the yard was fantastic, our stay was fantastic. Darla was super responsive to our questions and had really good suggestions.

Lauren's place was perfect for our little group! very close to everything and just a few min to the beach! very comfortable beds! Spacious bathrooms and bedroom as well! Kitchen was fully stocked perfect for cooking! We will definitely stay again!

Very beautiful and quiet location. Very small issues came up and Sylvia answered and took care of the issue immediately. Only thing I would add is the back porched area could be screened in du to the fact you could not sit out there at night due to a lot of mosquitos which is expected next to a canal. We really loved the place especially the pool.

The home is awesome . Stocked with everything you will need . Great heated pool . Furnished and decorated well . Corn hole and ping pong table . Lots of games . Plenty of pool and beach supplies. Leslie is a great host . Very responsive , proactive and kind . Will reach out to Leslie when we return to Port Aransas. Thank you Joseph and Jennifer.

Great little place near the beach. More private than expected do to the way the property is set up. Would definitely recommend. Great hosts as well!

Great place to stay. We loved the layout that slept our teens perfectly. Well equipped kitchen to cook our Thanksgiving meal. It got chilly while we were there so the hot tub was great!

The location was great. The family loved the pool and having a golf cart available was wonderful. When we had a few issues they were taken care of. We loved the pool, the kids felt like they were in a giant hot tub. Well worth spending the extra on heating it.

Great stay, wonderful location. Space was as described and had everything we needed, cold air and clean. Bring a few groceries if you’d like to cook. Awesome stay.

Upon arrival we were in awww of the view. This location is prime & super safe. Theres plenty of outdoor seating in & all around the gorgeous pool with waterfall/lights. Picnic tables for guys to prepare the poles for the fishing. The deck even had a green glow light which made night fishing much more enjoyable. This place has 2 kitchens. One is located upstairs and the other is downstairs. The one downstairs has that big open bar door so you can be cooking & preparing food while not missing out on all the fun going on outside. That’s great because who wants to be upstairs and feel left out. 5 clean bedrooms…one is very private downstairs. It has doors to keep closed so if you want to keep that kitchen open, the air stays In tv room & bed room. Both kitchens have Utensils, plates, coffeepot, stovetop ovens & refrigerators. Bedrooms are nice and stairs going to 2nd floor are easy to climb. Nothing like the ones I’m use to climbing that leave me breathless. Had a blast!

Everything about Stay Salty was amazing!! Keith is very responsive and super helpful. His home was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We loved the heated pool and the backyard was perfect for our 3 dogs. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. Plenty of space for a large group. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our 3 pups. The walk or drive to the beach was perfect and the beach was beautiful. The home is close to many shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation!! Thanks Keith! We will be sure to come back and visit in the future. ☺️

Amanda was an amazing host. She had great communication, quick to respond, and extremely helpful. Place was peaceful, and beautiful. It had everything you could possibly need. I would 100% recommend Amanda and her house. I can assure we will be coming back to rent again. Top notch service.

Well worth the stay! Finding a place with fur babies is hard, and I have 4. Antonio was completely ok with my animals. I am also I am a smoker. The porch and gates make it easy for the animals. I didn't feel uncomfortable, as my life partner is a woman. I would recommend this property. Easy to talk to, quick to respond, clean. The Single wide I stayed in felt like a large comfy home. They pay attention to detail. I hated to go, but I will stay again.

This is my favorite place stay in Rockport! The location & view are fabulous. Has everything you need for your to stay, especially if enjoy to cooking.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our two dogs loved the yard space, and I appreciated being able to get away from them when I had to work since the office was detached from the house. The property was very clean and peaceful. Thank you to Candice and her team.

Great place to stay first time visiting rock port! Wasn’t too far from everything. Love to cook and kitchen had everything I needed to do so.

Very pet friendly, nice little neighborhood. Everything we did was within a 20min drive. Nice Walmart and HEB just down the road. The sectional! That thing was so comfortable! The neighbor was super sweet as well. I appreciate the Mikes quick response to any question I had.
