Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San José Island

We had a wonderful time and the home was clean. It is an older home and some minor improvements should be made but that doesn’t take away from the five star review. We had 9 adults and 1 child and we had plenty of space. Plenty of parking and the neighborhood was peaceful. I would stay there again.

Sharon was a great host! Very nice and responded quickly. The house was incredibly nice and comfortable.

We really appreciated the communication and opportunity for an early check-in, without even asking for one. Easy to follow instructions before and upon arrival, made for quick access to the property to begin enjoying the impressive dock and outdoor space on the beautiful bay. The space was perfect for our group of 6 (age range from 17-85). There was plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside, cozy beds complete with extra bedding in the closet, a well stocked kitchen (and outdoor grills) to prepare and serve meals. The privacy of the downstairs bed/bath/game room was the highlight for our late teen/early 20 year olds; they liked that they had their own "apartment." (Note for parents with younger children: this space is only accessed from outside on the ground floor). The neighborhood felt safe, was quiet (during Spring Break). No luck fishing, but we enjoyed watching the birds, ducks, dolphins, and sunsets. Easy 45 min. drive/ferry to Port Aransas beaches. We'd rent again!

This was our third time to book Gaby & Robbie’s house and I was so glad I did because we had additional family join us last minute for the trip. It was the perfect space for all of us to cook and spend time together. Definitely recommend and we look forward to our next stay there! Excellent hosts and safe, clean space.

Came for a weekend of fishing. Matt & Melanie's place was perfect. Our dog, Leo, loved it as much as we did. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Our boat fit perfectly in the driveway. Very quiet location. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you, M & M for having such a nice place & offering it up to others!

Perfect Vacation home!! One of the best houses we’ve stayed at in PortA. Location was great and not far from the beach. Accommodated my whole family. Can’t wait to come back.

Centrally located. Easy to get to several must see places. From Padre Island and Corpus Cristi to the south and Aranas Wildlife Refuge to the north. Perfect for birdwatchers.

Sylvia’s house was really welcoming. We had 2 families (2 adults/1 child/ 2 dogs and 2 adults/ 3 children) loved how the house was so big that we had a lot of space per family separated but still together. It was really clean and everything was described as the photos. It was super cozy. We did have one night to bbq and they had all the amenities needed.The back yard was so nice of the canal for night fishing which was convenient. A quiet neighborhood and the privacy fence is a plus. Sylvia was super attentive with any questions or issues which was great. We’d definitely stay again. :)

This is the perfect home to getaway and relax. It's spacious with quiet surroundings and the pool is amazing. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the evenings. We will definitely book again.

A hidden oasis! The house was a great retreat full of wonderful amenities and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The house had nice touches of unexpected luxuries which added a level of depth to our stay. We loved the location and proximity to the beach and fun things to do. Shanan provided thorough information for the house and was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

We had an absolute blast! Thankful for the stocked coffee! It was clean and beautiful and big enough for my family to be comfortable!

We had such a great vacation at Diana and Benaia’s place. We came up to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they went above and beyond. They even had a cake there waiting for us when we arrived to celebrate. The bed was comfy and the place was right down the road from the beach, we could have walked. We will definitely be back!

I booked my birthday vacation here it was great!! Thanks to the amazing host they were super helpful. Extremely quick to respond and very accommodating to my needs. It was super nice and clean inside made me feel right at home. Outside was beautiful too very spacious. The beach is a quick little drive, everything was really close. My friends, family, dog, and I loved it. Definitely worth the price and will most definitely book here again.

We had a great stay! The house looks exactly like it does in the listing. The kitchen is fully stocked for any type of cooking adventures you'd like to have! Our kiddos loved playing in the yard with all the games they provide! Felt very safe and secure! We will be staying here again on our next trip to Port A

Take the kids get away from the busy world and just relax. Fantastic backyard ran around with my kids. Great space simple and it was exactly what the family needed. We decided to have Christmas here I highly recommend it! The whole neighborhood was peaceful ran into a few neighbors while on walks some of the nicest folks. The host was wonderful with communication and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend!

Scott was an exceptional host! He was available at all times and he was very responsive! We loved the house . It was absolutely perfect for the 4 young adults and myself. The master upstairs was a private little sanctuary away from the group when needed 😉. I will be sure to book this property again. Can’t wait to go back for another getaway ☀️

This is my favorite place stay in Rockport! The location & view are fabulous. Has everything you need for your to stay, especially if enjoy to cooking.

This place has to be one of the best BNB’s we’ve stayed at. House was exactly as described, endless amenities, even including charcoal for the grill! So much thought was put into this home, we were even greeted with fresh flowers, complimentary breakfast, and a hand written note. I could go on and on about the wonderful hospitality. Extremely pet friendly, we had everything we needed. Thank you for giving us a great spring break vacation!!

Very nice place to stay if you want to be close to the restaurants, shopping areas, and the beach! Hosts were super responsive and they were able to answer any questions I had within minutes. House was super clean and had no sand residue on the floor like you would get with some places. Definitely will be booking with them for my next trip!
