Beachfront vacation rentals in San José Island

This is our new favorite home in Port A. There was plenty of space and beds for our crew, we were very comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower and the kids loved the second living room with their own tv. The washer and dryer so nice to have with lots of kids in tow. We would happily stay here again.

This accommodation was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, clean, and comfortable! Well-furnished and stocked with necessities, our stay was seamless and stress-free. The accommodations were also spacious and capable of housing plenty of people. Travis was very proactive, thoughtful, and responsive with messages. Would definitely recommend to others and would re-book next time we are in the area!

Great option to be walking distance to the beach and pet friendly!

This listing was just as described! Walkable to the beach using the boardwalk, lots of local places to eat and shop. The location is amazing! The house was great for our group of 9. Ample space, so clean and incredibly maintained! The host was so responsive and after a previously failed air bnb this host worked so quick to get us set up and get us checked in quickly and helped us make the most of the rest of our trip. Would book here every time!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The condo itself was spotless and well-maintained, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like bug spray and sunscreen. Had a great time with family on our annual Thanksgiving trip. Really enjoyed the fishing and the home was perfect for us. Highly recommend and Martha was a delight to work with. Extremely responsive and kind.

Admittedly smaller than expected, but it does in fact sleep 8 and my party of 4, a dog, and I were comfortable. Everything was clean and worked as expected. The hot water worked REALLY well. lol The host was very quick to respond. I don't have any real complaints other than I couldn't find the dust pan. I feel bad about sweeping up a pile of sand and dog food and just leaving it by the trash can. I do apologize for that. In any case , I would absolutely stay there again. Thanks, yall!

We are 2 couples that vacation every October in Port A. Having stayed in many Port A rentals (and previously owned a rental in Port A) Sean's condo is the perfect location, very spacious, nice updated kitchen (although lacking any food storage bowls) and super clean. I will say, the secondary bath rooms do need to be updated. (Don't know about the primary bath, we stayed in the second bedroom). The shower head in the hall bath is super low, my husband is just under 6 feet tall and the water hit him at chest level. Handheld would work better. Toilets are older/low and didn't flush completely...every single time. The 3rd bath toilet is in a very crowded space and the toilet paper holder kept falling down. The couches were not very comfortable, but I get it...it's a rental and furniture takes a beating. The hallway outside the door is super dark and extremely hard to see to unlock the door when we would come back at night. That's not Sean's fault, that's on the builder...

Wonderful accommodations and a beautiful property. My family had a lot of fun and want to make it a yearly trip.

This is a gorgeous home located on a beautiful beach and golf community. The home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need for a vacation. It is obvious that the owner has taken great pride in the details that make this home a special place to stay. We had a group of 8 ladies and we had plenty of space to spread out. The boardwalk is just across the street making it very convenient to get to the beach. Our 3 day stay was negatively affected when on the second day, the AC went out on the main area, where the master bedroom is also located. After a bit of difficulty getting in touch with the management group and their several attempts to fix the AC it was found to be a part that wasn’t available until Monday. With the community having 2 beautiful pools we hung out there instead of spending time in a hot house. The management group worked with us and a resolution was agreed upon. We realize this unfortunate situation was unpredictable. We had a great time,

Nice , clean and well appointed. Backyard overlooking pond. Beach is not walkable, but can drive in 3-4 mins. The house was very cute and came with fooseball table and games.

Very beautiful brand new home. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect for large group of families. Love the elevator especially since the kitchen is located on the 3rd floor. Beach is walking distance. The view of the beach fr the house is breathtaking. We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Port A staying at Thomas’ home! This was our second time staying in one of Thomas’ homes in Port Aransas. The home was clean and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed plus more. The pool was clean and welcome after a full day at the beach. Not to mention the golf cart was fun and useful getting to the beach and around town! Thank you for hosting us and offering an abundance of amenities for your guests.

House and location was perfect. Game room was a big plus. Only thing is that they just have a starter kit when it comes to toilet paper, trash bags and stuff like that. So pick some up on the way in. Other then that no complaints

We had the opportunity to stay at Neal's place this past weekend when my mom visited from Washington. It was a perfect experience and I have no complaints at all. Neal offers a cozy little condo that is very charming and perfect for a getaway to the beach. The condo itself was very clean and well kept. The best part about it is that it is less than a 5 minute walk and you are right on the beach, and the path getting to the beach itself down the boardwalk is very pretty and peaceful as well. Bonus points because while it is a 'community' of condominiums, Neals has an outdoor balcony that points directly towards the ocean without any obstructed views, which made watching the sun come in the morning very pleasant. I have stayed a several Air BnB's in Port A, and definitely like Neals the best and plan on returning in the future. Highly recommend!

My family and I rented this place for our family Thanksgiving trip and it was an absolute beach-goers paradise. If you’re looking for a private, on the beach, nostalgic getaway: this is the place.

This property exceeded our expectations, providing a highlight of our travels. The house is situated in a unique wildlife setting in the dunes, with views of the ocean that take your breath away. Vacasa facilitated a hassle-free Airbnb experience. We are already making plans to book again for next year. Furthermore, Port Aransas offered a surprising array of activities suitable for all ages, including young children.

William’s place was exactly as described on the listing. The condo is small but we loved the layout and our family of 6 fit very comfortably. The beds and couches were all very comfortable and I loved that dining table fit 6 people nicely as well. The location is the best part, so close to the beach! We had a great weekend at the beach. Would do it again!

Good location - quick walk to the beach & also loved having a swimming pool right outside the back door!

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for a wedding on New Year's Eve and it was all very nice.

We have been coming to Port A. Every year we always have a great time, but staying at the Dunes in this amazing condo was the best experience so far. The beach was right there, restaurants were near by and we got a golf cart to help us cruise around. The condo was beautiful and well maintained and equipped. Everything was very convenient and easy when we checked in and checked out. We will be back for sure!

Goyes place was great for our family in December. It was very clean and cozy and the ammenities were thoughtful...we had plenty to last our week long stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and our 9 yr old played in the pool everday. Goye was tesponsive, flexible, and communicated clearly. Downtown Rockport was quaint and Rockport Beach was great for wading in as it was shallow. The house was less expensive than others that were available at the time as it does not have beach access within walking distance, but this worked great for us as we enjoyed seeing many different sites each day.
