Vacation rentals with beach access in San José Island

We enjoyed the place so much, we've almost got our next trip to Mark's booked. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restful, delicious food, four day get away. Mark's place is terrific - highly recommended. Even the goodies in welcome bag were helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Greg's Coral Cay condo. It was nicely apportioned and very comfortable for our party of 5. We loved the close proximity and easy access to the beach. We appreciated the large kitchen table and spacious, comfortable living room seating. We would definitely stay again!

The condo was very cozy with a very comfortable king sized bed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony observing our unobstructed gulf view while feeling the sea breeze. Our favorite restaurant, The Venetian Hot Plate, was in walking distance.

Nice location with easy beach access and top notch amenities. The apartment was well kept, clean, and provided plenty of space.

A great place, really well located, easily walkable to the beach, a nice pool, and the host was flexible when we needed to check in early with our toddler. Definitely recommend!

It was a great place my my wife and I and two other couples and their infants. Good size living room/dining area and kitchen.

Absolutely loved the location, proximity to the beach, and the overall vibe of home. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness arriving to the airbnb. For the hefty cleaning fee being charged for the stay, we would’ve expected it to be thoroughly cleaned. To find a Dorito chip under the kitchen table, a ritz cracker under one of the bedroom dressers, a water bottle under one of the beds, and a very sticky stair case railing, made it seem like the cleaning crew/service rushed right through their job. We did contact the host with an explanation and sent over some pictures, and they did offer to send a cleaning service to make sure everything was cleaned up, but we didn’t really want to have a cleaning crew coming in and working while trying to settle in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and created some great memories with the family.

Our multi-generational family loved this beautifully appointed beach home. The house is generously equipped with beach accessories (wagon, canopies, blankets, towels, beach toys, etc.) and is a short walk to the boardwalk/beach. The three-level layout is ideal for families, with a bunk area, multiple bedrooms, and a top floor featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and stunning views. My wife was thrilled with the kitchen's high-quality appliances, cookware, and dishes (even kids-ware). The home offers numerous outdoor sitting spaces and amenities like an above-ground pool, games, and outdoor shower. Lisa was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host. The property is just as described and even more lovely in person. While there are many stairs (as Lisa has carefully mentioned in the description), which might be challenging for some, they were not a problem and provided good exercise. The attention to detail truly sets this rental apart. A 5-star experience in every way!

This was our second time this year to stay at Casa Azul and again our stay was wonderful. The host is very responsive if you have a question or concern. We will stay again when we come back to Rockport.

Everything about Stay Salty was amazing!! Keith is very responsive and super helpful. His home was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We loved the heated pool and the backyard was perfect for our 3 dogs. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. Plenty of space for a large group. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our 3 pups. The walk or drive to the beach was perfect and the beach was beautiful. The home is close to many shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation!! Thanks Keith! We will be sure to come back and visit in the future. ☺️

This was the second year staying here. Perfect accommodations, right by the water, convenient to restaurants and shopping. Stayed 10 days and the price for the lengthy stay was very affordable. Devin is always responsive. Highly recommend this place.

We are 2 couples that vacation every October in Port A. Having stayed in many Port A rentals (and previously owned a rental in Port A) Sean's condo is the perfect location, very spacious, nice updated kitchen (although lacking any food storage bowls) and super clean. I will say, the secondary bath rooms do need to be updated. (Don't know about the primary bath, we stayed in the second bedroom). The shower head in the hall bath is super low, my husband is just under 6 feet tall and the water hit him at chest level. Handheld would work better. Toilets are older/low and didn't flush completely...every single time. The 3rd bath toilet is in a very crowded space and the toilet paper holder kept falling down. The couches were not very comfortable, but I get it...it's a rental and furniture takes a beating. The hallway outside the door is super dark and extremely hard to see to unlock the door when we would come back at night. That's not Sean's fault, that's on the builder...

Wonderful accommodations and a beautiful property. My family had a lot of fun and want to make it a yearly trip.

This was a perfect place. Very secure and safe. Extremely well keep areas. The dog park was amazingly clean and well maintained. The condo was perfect and allowed views of all the ships coming in and out. Dolphins everywhere, turtles were fun and fishing on the sea wall was fun. So close to the beach….made for a perfect morning walk. The condo was perfectly supplied we needed nothing. Ernst was very hands on and responsive. The office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Clint even went out of his way to give some helpful pointers where and how to fish and was more than happy to help us. Turned us onto Island Tackle and Randall who owns the business was so very helpful and knowledgeable. You won’t go wrong staying at Ernst condo. Perfect.

This is a great place to stay in Corpus Christi! I was visiting my mom for her birthday and wanted to get us a place with views of the water, and this perfectly fit the bill! David is a great host and very proactive and easy to reach. We especially loved the dedicated parking spot, comfy beds, excellent water pressure in the shower, and well-stocked and clearly labeled kitchen. The building isn’t brand new and shows its age a little, but we found that charming and it didn’t negatively impact our stay in any way. The soundproofing must be excellent, because we didn’t hear any noise from the other units the entire time we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

My sons and I took a last minute fishing trip to Rockport and came across Amy’s place. We didn’t check in until late in the day but when we did, it was the perfect place to relax and watch movies all night after a long cold and windy day of fishing. My sons and I settled right in and felt at home. I’ll definitely be staying here again when next time I return!

The condo was perfect for our family of four. We had two adults, a toddler and a newborn and we all fit comfortably. The condo was pretty child friendly which was nice! Easy walk to the beach and the pool was really nice. Hopefully we will be back soon!

The complex is family friendly with lots of options for kids - pool, playground, and basketball court. We were very close to the beach and not far from stores and places to eat. The hosts were responsive and gave very clear instructions. They even had some beach toys in the closet that our children appreciated very much!
