Vacation rentals with lake access in San Joaquin County

This Cabin is a gem! It is private and peaceful with many things to do, including fishing, pickleball, kayaking, petting animals (horse, miniature pig, dog), and with many wineries near by. We also fed the horse Whiskey with the provided treats. Michelle's husband was kind enough to offer us fishing poles with live worms, but we weren't lucky enough to catch anything due to the cold weather. He also offered us to check the chicken pen where we picked up 3 fresh eggs for breakfast. Knowing that we were planning on playing pickleball after checking out, he quickly cleaned the court for us, even though they were in a hurry to leave. On the down side, the pond is smaller than expected, so don't expect to kayak for long. The shower also ran out of hot water after about 10-15 mins on both nights that apparently never happened before. We showered after 10pm on both nights so that might be a factor. Michelle was responsive to the issue and offered to check on the issue the day after.

The response time to our questions and needs was amazing. The property looks like the photos…no surprises.

Their place is beautiful, very comfortable, have guest options to erase streaming credentials (like a hotel) if that’s your thing, and more than spacious for one person. The places to eat are around a half mile away, the neighborhoods are very walkable, and perfectly safe. The oversized ponds/small lakes are a serene feature.

Again, we appreciated Scott’s wonderful place. Scott was kind. Thank you Scott!

Best retreat! Very private and nice ranch with goats and horses! Highly recommend.

This is a real gem of a location and home. Its our fourth time staying and won't be our last!

Gevon’s house was a true blessing for my family and me after an unfortunate mishap with our original host. He was incredibly accommodating, and having his home available after a long and stressful night was such a relief. The house itself was perfect—cozy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made our Christmas stay so special. We felt right at home and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the holidays. Thank you, Gevon, for turning a difficult situation into a wonderful experience!
