Tent vacation rentals in San Diego County

We would definitely come back! Everything was provided for except food (totally understandable). Shantel’s place is really quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed the amenities in this camp site. The place was clean, organized and well thought of. Even the water for washing dishes was provided for. Shantel was friendly , responsive, accommodating, easy to communicate with and was available the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this campsite.

We had an amazing time glamping! The location of the camping spot is perfect. It was close to the bathroom and showers and very quiet. The campsite has 3 tents with beds, a covered cooking section with everything you need and some tree 'hammocks'. I'm not sure what to call them but they are mesh platforms in the air between the trees. They are perfect for sleeping and star gazing. They were a highlight of the trip! Perfect for kids. Shantal met us the first day and went over everything and then came back the second day to see how we got on and if we had any questions. This was really nice. Only drawback is it's a bit expensive. All in all we had a great time.

We rented two sites side by side for three families and everyone had an absolute blast. The novice campers were happy for the luxurious beds and the seasoned campers had fun sleeping in the adventurous tensile air-tents. The site was super well stocked - salt, sugar, water, a bathroom caddy, pots, pans, grill, plates etc. (even board games). It was so easy to make coffee in the morning or grill a nice fish at nice. We had such a wonderful time that we're already planning a return trip. The woods are beautiful and there are great hiking trails nearby.

My boyfriend & I had such amazing experience. The property was nothing but beautiful vibes beautiful people we were able to meet Miss Vicky the owner of the property ❤️ she is such a beautiful person we are for sure coming back the place deserve 10 stars

This was my 2nd time spending NYE eve at the ranch… 2 years ago the weather was pretty inclement, so I opted for the slightly larger tent @ site #11. It was absolutely perfect… plenty of room to move around at a secluded corner on the property. I didn’t build a fire, but there was a small pit along with a picnic table and some lounge chairs to watch the sunset (which was stunning). The bed was extremely comfortable and fitted with cozy flannel sheets and an enormous, fluffy duvet. Complete luxury! My dog & I thoroughly enjoyed the peace & quiet. We could hear fireworks in the valley down below, but it wasn’t horribly loud and my dog, Bodhi, didn’t react at all. I’m hoping to make this an annual tradition. Thank you so much for letting us stay on your property.

My boyfriend and I and our 3 dogs stayed here for New Years weekend, and it was so calm, quiet, and very peaceful. We are slowly transitioning to camping, and glamping was a great first step to get a taste of what it will be like! Our favorite part was the quietness and the potent stars at night. It was absolute serenity. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend!

Loved that I went camping without taking a tent, air mattresses and so many blankets. Loved that they provide the heater.

Wonderful spot to get in nature close to the city! We loved hearing the frogs croaking while stargazing! Great spot for families, and we're considering getting a larger group to stay in multiple tents on site. The fantastic and helpful hosts put this listing over the top. Will absolutely be coming back!

We had so much fun, plenty of grounds for kids & adults to explore. I really enjoyed laying in the hammock reading and knowing my boys were off just enjoying their freedom as well. I can’t wait to go back! The host Daniel was very helpful, accommodating and kind! Thanks again :)

My daughters and I have always loved the outdoors. They’re all teenagers now so glamping was a must, or so I thought. Shoes flew off and into the creek they went the minute we got there! The hosts were attentive when we needed and the ambiance was great. So many beautiful things to see. My girls said they wished we could have stayed longer. We will be returning very soon! Alina was a fabulous host - very responsive and helpful. The glamping tent was exactly what we were looking for the night. Everything was as pictured and super cute! Lots of fun extras with the outdoor seating areas and games. Like other reviews say you can hear coyotes, cows and roosters from the area-but it added to the camping vibes.

really nice camping area with big tents and comfortable, clean beds. Porta potty was clean & the area was quiet and beautiful. The neighbors dog benji was very friendly and kept us safe all night 🥰❤️

Donny was a wonderful and attentive host. Would stay again. The site and tent were exactly as described . We were very comfortable despite it being a very cold night. They had everything needed to keep us warm. Our two pups loved the little adventure and especially the treats they provided! I was a bit concerned with the bathroom situation, not really knowing what to expect. As an avid camper, I was prepared for any scenario. I was pleasantly surprised with the set up! It was such a beautiful spot, and very relaxing . We look forward to staying there again!

An amazing stay! Not too far from the cities, so it’s an easy getaway. So many small details really brought this place to life: The views are amazing. The outdoor shower sat right under the morning sun. The grill was a huge help. There was a place to sit and eat outside, a place to sit and chat by the fire, and bean bag chairs inside. The lighting outside was so cute, even the trees were lit up! A much needed weekend.

The entrance was a bit tricky to find at first, and check-in was a little confusing, but once I figured it out, everything was amazing. The place is so cute and clean, and I had such a wonderful time. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I almost didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!
